When I asked them why it was gonna cost that much they said it was because the part was a little more than they thought but was still around $600 for the part and couldn't tell me still why it was adding up to almost 3,000 dollars. I got a quote at Honda what it would be to fix my car and they gave me a quote for 1,000 for labor and part. Don't take your car here if you want to wait weeks on end and spend 2,000 dollars for labor.

Within 20 minutes he had the transfer case motor out of the truck and we determined that it was the likely culprit. He offered to call the local wrecking yard in the morning to see about getting a used one or we could get one from the local parts house. I opted for the prior, and by noon the next day Bennie had installed the used motor and reprogrammed the truck all for less than the price of a new transfer case motor.
