Dr. Nishihara and his staff are so caring and wonderful. He always runs on time and the office is very efficient. Both of my kids trust the doctor and open up to him about how they are feeling. Whenever I need records for school they are helpful or if I ever have a random question they always give a thoughtful answer. My family will always love Meadows Pediatrics! read more

Doesn't matter that Dr. Nishihara is the best. He's not accepting new patients. He's the ONLY doctor who is always on time (he expects reciprocity) and even calls on a Saturday evening to check on my child. Nobody experiencing this leaves, and the doctor won't over-book, hence, not taking new patients. read more

This review is long overdue. Our sons are 9 and 7 and we have been coming here since they were born. Dr. Nishihara is outstanding. He's punctual and expects you to be also. LOVE that. Dr.Nishihara has been my kids pediatrician for over 10 years. He is such an amazing person, connects so well with his patients, extremely compassionate and very knowledgeable. I am so grateful that my kids have him as their doctor. The office is very nice, there is never a wait time. They play fun Disney movies in the lobby but since you don't have to ever wait for him, you hardly get to see the movies lol! My kids love to visit the restroom coz they think it's the coolest restroom, everything is touchless, lights, sink, flush, towel dispenser. Staff is very friendly and I have never had problems getting my kids seen by him on the same day if they are sick. He always gives the kids toys at the end of the visit, something they have adored since they were babies. read more

I took all 3 of my children to Dr. Nishihara for the last 20 years and was fortunate to be his client. Whether it was a life threatening emergency, a sick visit or a wellness one - his care was above and beyond any medical professional I have encountered. His staff is highly trained and you can tell they love their jobs. Dr. Nishihara is up to date on all medical information, kind, runs on time , and a truly remarkable human. He respects your time and doesn't allow other peoples Inconsideration to cause you to wait with your child . I am sad that all by children are adults now because he is not repl to my family. read more

Deserves all the starts and MORE. He is amazing. Hand down very thorough and great with kids. Our one year old has been not a great sleeper and my husband and I couldn't figure out why. Dr Nishihara was so concerned and spent an extra 15 minutes or so asking questions. He figured out that our baby was waking up every our due to eczema and dry skin and made recommendations on what we needed to change. The next days were MAGICAL. Our baby sleeps very well to this day and only needed to use Zyrtec that first night. His eczema is now confined to a small area and getting better. He is also amazing with our daughters and love seeing him! We won't see anyone else! read more

Dr Ryan Nishihara is the best pediatrician in Las Vegas hands down. My family has seen him for 9 years turning 10 years. At some point we went to him as a cash patient!! We absolutely love him and recomend him! He has his rules. 1. Kids are his priority 2. No germs 3. Refer to rule #1 Watch this video... my kids wanted to share why they love him! https://youtu.be/ZF5h-YRhliU read more

Horrible care! If you want to bring your child in and feel like a stupid mom and that you know nothing this is your doctor! If you want a doctor that cares more about his staff than the child that is sick with a 104 temperature that you made wait in the car for over an hour and your staff never called once to notify us of testing results and status for when you would see her and then you were mad at me the mom for asking your staff to at least keep me updated which they never did! Run parents this is not the doctor you want caring for your child. read more

You made it very clear that "you are fed up with your patients not appreciating your work." Dr. Nishihara, please understand what your office is doing and then you call my wife and blame her for your own office failures. My guess is you won't ever change the way you feel about your patients until the change is done within. Just to make things clear, my wife did exactly what your office requested and my wife set proper expectations. It didn't merit the treatment given to my wife. We understand it is a challenging time for medical professionals. We happen to own a facility and deal with similar issues. The statement I have been using is, "I am sorry you are unhappy, we are overwhelmed, we are doing the best we can." read more

This Doctor is the best peds in Vegas. He is an advocate for kids. Parents who so not listen will get an earful of education. Dr N wants his kids happy and healthy. We went thru his care and education for almost 10 years. Had to switch doctors at one point due to lack of insurance and then found out that other offices are just not up to his standards. The other offices were dirty and unorganized. This office is spotless everyday! How they handle cleanliness is like how we are now learning to wash hands due to COVID-19!!! This office is on time, every time. If you are scheduled, you will be seen on time... no sitting and waiting for hours. No double booking, and the best care. I truly recommend Dr. N. He is truly the best. It's so hard to find a good doctor in vegas! read more

Love this office. We never wait more than 5 minutes tops (just make sure that you yourself aren't late.) When I call with a sick kid, they get me in the same day or worst case early the next morning. Some times I'll call, and in a few hours I'll be walking out of the office with the medication I need so I don't even have to go to a pharmacy. It's amazing! I just called (on a Saturday) to ask if I should go to quick care because my daughter is sick. He offered to do a telehealth visit right then, told me what to do, and called in a prescription! Much easier than dragging all my kids to urgent care. Can't speak highly enough about this office. read more

We love Meadows Pediatrics and are so grateful to be a part of the practice. The receptionists and nurses are always so kind and accommodating and helpful. Dr. Nishihara always goes above and beyond at each visit. He helps my kids feel comfortable at every visit so much so that they actually look forward to going to the doctor. My son now wants to be a doctor when he is older because of how much he has enjoyed his Meadows Pediatrics visits. We never have to wait long, and feel cared for at each appointment. We are thankful to have found Meadows Pediatrics! read more

Updating my 3 year old rating with a 5 , and a heart if I could. Absolutely the very best of the best, careful, kind and witty, each of my 3 littles love him and ask to see him if they feel Unwell. Hands down, a five star experience. First, I want to thank the front office staff for their friendly greeting. I felt safe for my families visit as the office was not over booked. The waiting area was clean and quiet! Dr. Ryan Nishihara was outstanding, he spoke directly to my adolescent children and they truly appreciated his communication skills. I highly recommend Dr.Nishihara, he is thorough, professional, and takes the time to connect with his patients. Thank you read more

De.Nishihara is the best pediatrician ever, I was recommended to him and was warned by himself that he is strict. I can tell you he cares a lot for each and every patient. I have never met any doctor who calls directly himself to ask how his patients are doing and that speaks volumes. All the staff in his office are wonderful as well. My two daughters are very happy with their doctor and I make sure every time I renew my insurance he is cover under my new insurance. He is worth every penny read more

Amazing staff, super friendly. Very welcoming atmosphere . Made it extremely easy to schedule my kids appointments

Dr. Nishihara is the best. He genuinely cares about his patients. My son, who just turned three, tells me the doctor is his best friend. He is kind, patient, attentive and even calls at the end of the day to check in and follow up. I can give a million examples regarding how well he has cared for my children. I am grateful for his practice and his staff. They truly care about the kids. I feel so lucky to have found him. read more

Very rude dr. Always made me feel like I was a bad parent. Worst pediatrician in Vegas!! Do not recommend at all!

Dr. Nishihara is very caring and it truly feels like he wants the best for his patients. He is very particular about germs and about showing up on time for the appointments so don't waste his time and he won't waste yours. I've had some doctors where it takes 30-45 minutes just to be called back. Not here at Meadows Pediatric, in 30-45 minutes we are always seen and out the door. Thanks for taking great care of my son Dr. Nishihara! read more

I did not know that even if a doctor is accepting new patients, that they can choose to not accept new patients with ADHD. So because my son has a condition and actually NEEDS a doctor, you can't accept him to your practice? Feels a little like discrimination. I guess all the wonderful reviews are for healthy children that don't have any issues. read more

We just recently switch pediatricians and after meeting Dr. Nishihara, I'm glad we did. He was so great with my daughter. He helps take the edge off of a drs visit. My daughter was super relaxed and he had her laughing. He is very direct with the kids; he speaks directly to them and makes sure that they understand everything he's saying. He also gave my daughter a fidget spinner on her way out, which made her very, very happy. His staff is also super nice. We got there 20 minutes early and took us in almost immediately. Then, once back in the exam room, we maybe waited 10 minutes, probably less. I would highly recommend Meadows pediatric. By far the best pediatrician we have been to yet and we will be sticking with them! read more

*** THIS DOCTOR IS GREAT *** but be prepared to have thick skin. If you care more about your children's well-being and not your own personal feelings, then this doctor is for you. If you want to actually hear the truth as to what you are doing well or incorrectly as a parent, the Dr Ryan Nishihara is your doctor. We have been to other Pediatricians in other towns before Dr Nishihara. YES, we have been yelled at. I personally dont mind as we are more concerned about the children. But there are huge upsides. Things he requests and may seem strange about... VERY PUNCTUAL... DO NOT BE LATE.... But this means we have never waited more than 2 minutes for our appointment and room to be ready. GERMAPHOBE... But this means his facilities are the cleanest we have seen. I mean seriously clean. Not one sign of mess and he must go through costco size amounts of cleaner per day. VERBALLY ROUGH ON PARENTS But this means, you will be told the harsh truth. We just go in expecting to get yelled at,..but as a parent, i prefer to be toughened up, rather than make a mistake later on with the upbringing. Bottomline is this.. If youre ok having tough skin, he is your doctor. If you feel like you want to be kept in a bubble and never told how to properly take care of the health of your children while maintaining a false sense of security as if youre doing it right... then find another doctor who may not be as good for your children but great for your false ego and perception of yourself as a parent. ME PERSONALLY, im ok being told I dont know what we are doing... After all, we are new parents. Humility is a must as a parent at his office. HA read more

Dr. Nishihara is the best pediatrician we've ever had. He's taken every issue seriously, and showed extreme compassion. He uses a bit of silliness to put my son at ease in the office, which is no small thing. But at the same time conveys important heath information to my son in age appropriate ways that my son really does listen to. His office runs on time, and I've never had any problems with the billing or appointment staff, which is worth a lot and hard to find. I am SO glad that we found Meadows Pediatrics, and we will never go anywhere else. read more

Dr. Nishihara and his staff are absolutely amazing! They always make my Children feel comfortable when they are there and are almost always on time. We have never had to wait very long to be seen unlike other doctor offices we have been to in the past. My kids love going to the doctors so much they say they want to be a doctor like Dr. Nishihara when they grow up! :-) read more

My son was given a vaccination too early. His records were not even checked! When I asked for a printout of his records because we are moving the mistake was caught. Then they asked me to come back next month to get it again! Do they not make double sure they are giving the right one. Thankfully, this one wasn't dangerous, but it scares me to think of what could happen. I don't want to have to do tons of research each time I go to the pediatrician. I want to trust that they know what they are doing and double check things when they do it! We liked the doctor himself, hence the one star, but I would definitely go somewhere else. read more

We are very pleased with Dr. Nishihara and his staff. My husband and I have brought our kids into Meadows Pediatrics for a variety of issues including food/environmental allergies, staples/stitches, flu, and speech delays. Dr. Nishihara is very good with the kids and is extremely professional with parents. I'm grateful for finding this doctor for our kids. His staff were able to straighten out mistakes made by our prior Pediatrician's office. They didn't enter vaccinations into the database. Luckily Dr. Nishihara caught that mistake. read more

If I could give this less stars I would. Just moved to Vegas and made an appt for my daughter to see Dr Nishihara. I was unable to make the scheduled appt and called to let them know this. The receptionist put me on hold for 5 minutes and then set up a rescheduled appt for my daughter. 20 minutes later the same receptionist called me back to say that since I had not made the scheduled appt that she would be unable to honor our rescheduled appt! This is AFTER she had already rescheduled the appt! I asked her if this meant that we would be unable to reschedule an appt with the doctor ever again and she said 'Yeah'. This is completely UNPROFESSIONAL! I feel as if I dodged a bullet though. Who wants a doctor for their child who is so unwavering and obnoxious? Not me! We will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

Dr nishihara is amazing! When I thought my baby had Covid they quickly told me to come in for a test and results were ready in like 10 mins. I will be coming here until my baby is 18. read more

Basic pediatrics with no wait with your appointment. Don't miss a well visit though. Otherwise they tell you takes 6 months or more to get in for one. We waited on a "wait list" for 4 full months and were never able to be seen. After 13 years we were forced to leave the practice or wait several more months for a well visit. All my kid needed was for the doctor that has seen her for her entire life to sign saying she was healthy to play sports at school and Dr. Nishihara refused to get her in for 3 more months after already waiting 4 months on a wait list. I imagine he figured we were nearing the end of our useful paying life since we are now in the teen and tween years where visits are fewer and so are shots. It's unfortunate. I did ask him to call me to discuss and he never did. read more

The staff and doctor at this facility are amazing and very patient. The clinic is very clean and decorated nicely for the children. My son isn't always the easiest, but they always find a way to get what they need done, and do so without making me feel embarrassed or like he's a burden. I highly recommend Dr. Nishihara as he is caring, professional, knowledgeable, and holds the highest standard of care while still finding a way to make my son laugh. I highly recommend! read more

My 10 year old was visiting the other doctor in town but we moved her to Dr. Nishihara since last summer, so far we are very happy with everything! I took her to Dr. Nishihara this morning, we made an appointment for 9:30am two weeks ago but the nurse couldn't find the record this morning!! Bummer right, luckily Dr. Nishihara still let my daughter in and see her. Thanks Dr. Nishihara for your kindness! The reason why I'm giving them 4 stars is because I'm not happy with the 45 mins extra wait time. read more

Dr. Nishihara is hands down the best Pediatrician I have gone to. With Dr. Nishihara, you feel like part of the family. He follows up even on weekends after sick visits. Wait time is zero, they are always ready for me which means they respect my time as much as I respect theirs. Dr. Nishihara takes the time to educate the parents and constantly reminds us about things we may have forgot over time. I highly recommend Dr. Nishihara! read more

So far, I am loving Meadows Pediatrics. Having our first child is definitely nerve wrecking especially since she was in the NICU since she was born. Doctor Nishihara is so great with her and he's very very straight forward with everything. Which we love! He's also very sanitary. He always mentions to us that the adults are the ones who spreads the germs. He always wants to see our daughter be on track with gaining weight and so forth. You can tell he genuinely cares for his patients. His staff are very nice and helpful. So happy to have found a great pediatrician for my daughter. read more

Dr. Nishihara is wonderful! He is personable and truly cares about my daughter. He's really funny and he wants the kids to feel comfortable. **Hands down the best pediatrician in Las Vegas** He actually cares about your child and their overall well being- so instead of prescribing a bunch of medicines, he'll try other methods first. Why is there never a waiting room full of people here? Because he see his patients on time!!!! (Something never hear of at most other offices) He respects your time so respect his as well. - You will get your 15min of face to face time and not feel rushed He's not harsh at all; he just doesn't sugar coat things. Remember you go to him for professional advice; which you will get. read more

this doctor is crazy! he "requires" a covid test AND a flu test. both equaling $90 plus visit of $110. SCAM! This guy is just aborher person cashing in on a pandemic that is no more. i would advise to stay away. With these fees the average person can't afford to be seen. read more

I don't even know where to start, the first couple of appointments I could tell it was all his way or the highway but this last appointment for my daughters one year follow up just went over the edge. As a woman and mother who is always second doubting herself as it is there should be no reason why I am in the office during the appointment crying and feeling like I am not succeeding as a mother. He made my husband and I feel like we were failing as parents because our daughter was not hitting all her milestones at 12 months. Instead of giving us solutions on how to turn things around he was saying we weren't doing this or that. My husband left the appointment and was in tears in the car on the way home second guessing what we were doing wrong. This dr is all about his ways or the highway and is very unprofessional I would not recommend his practice read more
