Up until this Fall, there has not been a single spa in the valley that remotely impressed. INCLUDING the old spa at Meadowood - so ancient and outdated. They more than made up for it with the completely new structure, nestled in a different part of the property. It's jaw dropping. Seriously. Ladies, you NEED to come here, save your pennies, nickels and dimes, because it ain't cheap, but you will have a tremendous experience. A major party foul happened, but miraculously, upon arrival, everything was polished and seamless, it was not even a blip in our memory. So professional - the hospitality is demure yet overwhelmingly fantastic. Fill out your questionnaire well - they ask wellness questions and really personalize the treatment based on your responses. Treatments are in SUITES. As in, 700+ sq/ft of space for you and your therapist to trollop in. Divided spaces: 1) treatment bed - heated, country chic chenille blanket and comforter 2) steam bath, toilet, sink and changing area with combo locker area Seasonally, there is an outdoor private space for lounging after your treatment - cabana time! Check out the mineral bath, perfectly curated healthy snacks and teas. It's nice how there are different spaces to meander through, including outdoor areas, but still feel really serene and secluded. Love their skincare line Luzern Labs. Staff are currently being trained on hydrafacial technology - treatment will be available before the year wraps. So exciting! Not many spas spring for the equipment - love getting my face vacuumed! I am pining for the day when I can return, completely blissful and raises the standard of spas to another level. One of the biggest spas west of the Mississippi.

This is the tree house where you can enjoy your spa meal after your services. It's huge, very charming and ultra cozy. It was sublime.

I'm fortunate to work for a company that offers a sabbatical after 5 years of service. Decided to come here and treat myself to the Meadowood Curated Collection, a 5 1/2 hours of spa treatment bliss. The facility is newly remodeled, spacious and beautiful. Each room is a suite so you're off to a wonderful start of pampering. The steam room is an amazing 6 minutes of 115 degrees with custom aromatherapy to aid in your relaxation. Next is a sugar, black Walnut or salt scrub depending on your preference. If you haven't done a body scrub, I'd highly recommend it! It's a wonderful way to ensure your skin is perfect and ready for the summer months. My skin is so soft and supple I didn't even recognize it you're being bundled and sweaters and jackets all winter. The massage and facial are tailored specifically for you. So just depends what you want. Mine was perfect! Then you have a choice to enjoy your spa meal either on the balcony of your sweet or in the treehouse. I posted photos of the Treehouse which is incredible and I'd highly recommend it. It has a bed, fireplace, bath Nice seating area to enjoy your meal. Very generous with the food and drink! You also get a wonderful generous gift at the end of your treatment. I was quite surprised with mine, (it's not bath products or a candle either!)

All of the facilities at Meadowood are pure luxury, and the spa is no exception. The reception area is stunning, illuminated by a fireplace and decorated with flowers, dark wood, and plush furniture. My boyfriend and I arrived for a couples massage ($540), and filled out paperwork before being lead to our separate locker rooms. The women's area is spacious and fully stocked with any hair care and cosmetic basics you could possibly need. The windows provide views of lush greenery and trees, providing a complete escape from reality. Once changed into our plush robes, we were reunited in the couples suite, where we sipped lemon water and picked our essential oils for the steam room. Essential oils smell nice, but have no substantiated evidence of providing health benefits, healing, or um, anything. I found it a little off putting that this spa promotes otherwise. The steam room had two seats for us, and while it was fun being naked with my dude in an herbal steamy glass box, we both wished the steam was hotter. The massage itself was outstanding, and exactly what I requested. "You can hurt me." I told Jackie, who is a highly skilled masseuse. If you need deep tissue, definitely request her. She was brutal, in the best possible way. The knots in my shoulders feel significantly better. My boyfriend liked his massage too. We left feeling relaxed and renewed. Was it worth half a rack? Probably not, but hey, you're on vacation, so go ahead and treat yo self.

Meadowood Spa was my favorite spa experience to date. Recently remodeled last November, everything was serene but bright and happy. The staff was professional, warm and kind. Be sure to arrive extra early to enjoy the outdoor lounge with relaxation gardens, snacks, tea, and a heated mineral pool. It was so special to have my own private spa suite complete with a steam shower, large bathroom stocked with toiletries and a heated treatment bed. I had a deep tissue massage. It really was the best massage I have ever had and I used to get them every other week for a couple of years. The culinary lunch was beautiful, colorful, fresh and inspiring. Afterwards, you can stop by the store which is filled with face and body products, books, and accessories. It's a lovely way to treat yourself to some gifts after your visit. I have not been able to stop thinking about when I can return!

What can I say other than one of the best spa experiences I've had. Beautiful setting, quiet, and the staff was exceptional. The facilities were immaculate and lovely. The facilities include whirlpool, hot steam room, sauna, outdoor rain shower, relaxation area with amazing home made snacks and a nice selection of delightful teas. You can also order off the culinary menu which I did. Had an unbelievable kale salad. The locker area contains two showers, a vanity, lots of towels, and super comfy robe and slippers. A few things to note- they had no towels on ice for the face and eyes. And no chairs for vanity area :( The massage therapist was wonderful. We sat down and talked for awhile before getting started. She wanted to understand me and my body, and also made sure the set out the perfect details. Right down even to the volume of music. She was big into holistic therapy and decided to ask her to to more of a "detoxifying massage". Which included skin rolling, and lymph node work. Hard to judge the massage since she was a wealth of holistic knowledge so I kept asking her questions. I normally get Swedish massage, this was definitely not, but I asked her to massage me in a way to detoxify my body. I wouldn't say it necessarily "felt good" but that wasn't my objective. It was all about the experience. Next time I will ask for Swedish style so I can really feel the entire experience. After the massage she made me a detoxification Elixer which was amazing. Again, she I can't stress enough how incredible she was. I should also note that I came later than I had meant to due to a family obligation earlier in the day,but the welcomed me back today just to use the facilities at no additional cost. I thought that was very generous and really appreciated it! As far as the people, the best I've ever been to by FAR. Unfortunately not many spas can beat the lavish spas in Dubai, Las Vegas, Zurich, and other places, but this along with the Fairmont Del Mar in San Diego are the best in California. By far. Highly recommend coming here to experience this heaven! Nowhere else in The bay are even comes close!

Best spa I've ever been to...amazing architecture , amazing therapists, amazing service ...

However, for $200 for a massage, the overall management and service was disappointing. They add a mandatory 20% gratuity, which is steep on such pricey services. After my massage I walked right into a huge ladder in the hallway, and had to pin myself against the wall to get around. They must have had some issues because I then walked into the women's room to meet 3 male repairmen. No kidding! They charged me $200 to relax and unwind and failed to close down the bathroom for repairs. The woman who checked me out did not apologize and In fact tried to guilt me into adding more money. Uh, no!!

I got the pregnancy massage and my hubby got a deep tissue massage. We were in their VIP room. It was excellent. When you check in, they bring you to the bathroom/locker rooms. They give you a nice warm robe and a "goodie bag". I never been to a massage place where they give you a little bag of toothpaste, mouthwash, hair tie, etc.... What a nice gesture. In the waiting area, my hubby and I had the whole place to ourselves. It was so nice. They offer fruit, teas, different flavor infused water. It was a great experience.
