I would give full stars but when I approached the front desk the front lady darker redish black hair it is not pleasant. The personality is not there no smile, no nothing just a very unhappy person sitting there that's the face that greats you....sorry but you need a new greater or tech people to have a personality for sure.... Got back to the room and seen Dr.Hardee the tech was very bubbly and overall very sweet and educated. Dr. Hardee was amazing and no complaints here. Due to my pet being hard to give meds to he offered coming back daily but due to lack of transportation and living a little distance he said to see if a neighbor could help. A tech approached me and said she would be willing to come help give drops. I didn't get the techs name but blond and black hair had tattoos on her left arm.As I didn't want to bother her to drive that far she insisted on helping. I can honestly say no other vet or tech would go out of their vet to help that way. Dr Hardee and the techs are great. Leaving the office was a different story. The smile and the smile we left seeing with thanks to the short dark hair receptionist. The office needs to have these girls train some people on personality that's for sure. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the tech team is amazing! The Dr on the other hand was not so much. We came in for an emergency with my puppy and ended up having to do radiographs etc which was no issues. In the long run we had to euthanize my puppy due to him having a blockage. My heart was broken and I was waiting on my mom to come for payment and to say goodbyes to our puppy. When you hear a Dr tell the tech "they need to hurry we need this room they have been here long enough". If I ever come back here it will not be with Dr. Heim the bed side manner of this lady is awful and the I'm not sures and recommending another Dr because he's the big brain is unacceptable. Thank you to the amazing techs that helped and Michelle and the blonde tech up front for being so sweet to us in time of need. read more

I always go to the one in Market Commons, so first time at this location. Super pleased, as always! Staff is super friendly & my baby's doctor was "The Doc Hardee" (as I call him lol). My mom's been going to him for years. I did NOT feel rushed or unheard. They were all patient with me & my concerns & truly seemed to have the best interest for my Loki boy. Very informative & had a great open line of communication between them & I, which is extremely important to me. They have 2 other locations as well, highly recommend all 3! Hopefully my sweet baby gets to feeling better soon! read more

Staff and Vet were pleasant and office was well maintained and managed. My puppy was treated well and I felt comfortable.

Dr. Hardee has No Compassion, No Sympathy, No sense of urgency!! Office staff is very nice, but Doctor is only interested in the $$. Brought my dog to him 6 days after her last heartworm injection because she was in distress. After examination and testing he had no idea what was wrong with her. He took an ultrasound but he couldn't read it because "he's not an ultrasound expert" he had me take her to HIS other office in Loris. I had 40 minutes to get her to the ultrasound tech who was 40 minutes away. His tech handed me my 1/2 dead dog, then asked that I come in to make a payment to which I said I'm not leaving my dog in the car, I'll either pay HIS other office or call to pay over the phone. Office called me 4 times while I was still in the parking lot trying to get my GPS up. Once I answered to make payment, I wanted to know why my dog was 1000x's worse then she was when I dropped her off, the put the doctor on the phone who answered "what's the problem, why don't you want to pay your bill"?? EXCUSE ME! I have 10 dogs that went to his office this year that cost me over $5,000, this $600 bill was not a problem!! My 1/2 dead dog was the problem! Got to the other office and she died on the ultrasound table! Way to go doc! Because of your mouth and lack of sympathy, you just lost 9 patients!!! Guess the $600 was worth losing 9 patients! I have used Meadowlawn for years. They were there to help my mom and grandma put my 13 year old cat to rest when she suffered from cancer while I was away at college. Their Loris team did it with such care and grace. Which was much needed during that difficult time. A few weeks later, I received an imprint of her paw in the mail that was painted with her name. For the past five years, I have been using Meadowlawn for my Miniature Dachshund. She has recently been diagnosed with IVDD. Dr. Carey at the Conway office has not only been patient with my concerns but taken various treatment measures to figure out what will work best for my dog. Dr. Carey is thorough with follow-up appointments, returns phone calls, and has my dog's overall health and well-being in her best interest. I don't feel rushed when I have an appointment and Dr. Carey ensures all of my questions are answered and sends me home with reference materials. Dr. Carey is so kind to me and my dog. It makes appointments a little less nerve wracking. My dog recently had to have x-rays due to her IVDD and Dr. Hunt was filling in at the Conway office. She was phenomenal as well. She explained the images and what they meant. She thoroughly walked me through different treatment measures - and didn't just jump to the last resort - which would be $10,000 surgery. Dr. Hunt referred me to a physical therapist and explained why PT would be beneficial to my dog's condition. Dr. Hunt also did a routine exam on my dog and checked for other conditions that could be a result of IVDD. She didn't leave until all of my questions were answered. IVDD can be a scary thing for a first-time dog owner but Dr. Hunt, as well as Dr. Carey, both discussed options that can help my dog get the best quality of life. I'm not one to normally write reviews but I just wanted to thank Dr. Carey, Dr. Hunt, Brittany, Caroline, Meadow, and all of the nurses that have helped Pepper with her IVDD journey. read more

While the staff was caring, the appointment booking was a breeze, the price tag was OUTRAGEOUS. I spent over $700 getting two dogs caught up on vaccines. Prices were not discussed prior to services rendered. I was blindsided with the price AFTER the fact. Had I been given that information I would have walked out as I have had the same services rendered at another reputable and local vet for HALF the cost. I only chose to come here because it was closer to my new residence. Apparently this place offers a pet plan which may have lowered to costs but that was never discussed either. Definitely disappointed in my experience and will be making the extra commute to my previous veterinarian. read more

We are visiting from Charlotte. One of her dogs broke a nail yesterday. We called all the vets in a 20 mile radius. Most of the other vets just said they didn't have time to see us, and hung up on us. The receptionist here said they couldn't see him yesterday, but made us an appointment for today, and told us what to do for him in the meantime. Everyone at the office was so nice today! Dr. Hardee totally looked him over, not just at his nail, and made some recommendations for an allergy issue he's been having. Needless to say, we were very impressed. We visit here at least once a year, so it's good to know we've found a great vet in case of an emergency in the future. read more

I'm so grateful that this family vet is available to me! They've been outstanding with my dog and I can't say enough about how they go above and beyond when it comes to helping your fur babies! My dog was hurting so bad and every time I've had to take him, they have always made mountains move to get us in and they really care about the families they serve! I sent some X-rays from an emergency vet visit and it might have been 30 minutes and Dr. Hardee called me personally to talk about what he saw and what he recommended. I can't even get my doctor to call me back especially himself and not a tech or a secretary. I trust him with my baby and he loves going to this office even when he is in pain and not feeling good. Animals and kids are incredible judges of character and my baby gets so excited when we are there! Thank you from the bottom of my soul for loving and caring for my baby and family!!!!!!!!! I recommend this vet to any and everyone I can. I wish he saw humans cause I sure would love to have him as my doctor and that's saying a lot!!!! read more
