With our daughter, we researched our options and we selected Fresta Valley. We loved how the youth were empowered to become responsible adults. The students were all comfortable interacting with adults and each other. They look you in the eye and shake your hand. There is a great focus on glorifying God and serving others. There was also a great emphasis on honesty and integrity. She attended the school throughout her high school years. It changed her life. She was thrilled to be in classes were the focus was on learning. She had wonderful teachers and wonderful friends. She often thanks us for making the sacrifice for her to attend Fresta Valley. Had my husband and I known about Fresta Valley earlier, we would have sent all our children there.

Fresta Valley Christian School was honestly really tough for me. A lot of the people there weren't…read morevery nice, which was surprising since it's supposed to be a Christian school. I expected more kindness and understanding, but instead, there was a lot of favoritism and unfairness. On top of that, there were several situations where I felt like they handled things really poorly, and that just made me hate going to school even more. The teachers didn't make it any easier either. For example, I told them a whole month in advance that I'd be gone for vacation during the last week of school, but they still said I'd get zeros on assignments I missed. That felt super unfair and like they didn't really care about what the students were going through. It was frustrating because I wanted to do well and be treated fairly, but that just didn't happen. After dealing with all of this for a year and a half, I knew I couldn't stay there anymore. It was disappointing because I really hoped for a positive and supportive environment, but it ended up being the opposite. Looking back, I wish things had been different because no one should have to go through that kind of experience at school. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.

Beware of this center that claims to have your children's best interest at heart. Their policies…read morestate repeat offenders of biting will be dismissed from the center upon numerous warnings to a biter's parent. This IS not the case. My infant attended this daycare and while in the infant room would come home with bite marks by what seemed to be the same child, although the director swore it wasn't. By the time my child moved into the toddler room the same child continued to bite my child in all locations; arms, legs, hands and even the face. I was told repeatedly after each incident the other parent was talked too and was being worked with to get the child to stop biting. Once again my child moved into the 2 year old classroom where the same repeat offender was and yes ladies and gentlemen, my child was the target of this mauler again. The straw that broke the camels back came when the same biter bit the crap out of my child's middle chest area to the point of breaking skin and bleeding. The Director would never address the problem with me but instead had the assistant director swear to me if this same child bit again "she" would be not allowed back at the center. In fact they moved the child up a class early in hopes to derail this awful habit. My child's voice was so horsed from screaming in pain it broke my heart. I pulled my child out out of there for good a few months ago to a far better daycare and I couldn't be happier. I have friends who still have children at Meadowbrook and guess what kind of updates I get? Same child has bitten repeatedly to their kids with the results ending with no action against the parents of a 2 1/2 year old with biting issues. Clearly there is a larger issue at hand with this biter and some assistance from a therapist would be beneficial. Meadowbrook is driven by money AND not of the children fallen pray to one child they refuse to ban from this daycare.

The one in The Plains , Virginia Is an outstanding school (lower school, Middle and high school). The school has a diverse population of bright, enthusiastic students and teachers. The Head Master is supportive and is always ready to meet with parents to help with any concerns parents or students may have. The curriculum is challenging and creative. My granddaughter was enrolled in order to benefit from small classes and stimulating courses. It is the best decision our family has ever made! As a former teacher, I recommend it highly! PAt C.
