Truly the best of the best! I have a 9-yr-old boxer who in the past used to be TERRIFIED of going to the vet, but ever since we switched over to Meadow Veterinary Hospital his worries disappeared. He literally gets so excited and pulls me into the clinic, haha. All of their veterinarians and assisting staff are extremely helpful and knowledgable and really care about their clients. When my dog was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor last year they went above and beyond to help my dog during his surgery and recovery, and later made recommendations to follow-up with Animal Specialty Center in Yonkers. If you're looking for a veterinary hospital that you can trust to take care of your furry family members then this is the place! Also a tip, Meadow Veterinary Hospital offers grooming services! They also offer boarding services, but I believe your pet has to weigh less than ~40-45 lbs.(?). My 60 lb. guy didn't make the cut, haha. read more

Dr Twedt and Dr Raznik are absolutely amazing! They treat your pet as one of their own.

I am writing this review in hopes that other pet owners avoid Dr. Laura Twedt @Meadow Veterinary Hospital. She does NOT prioritize the pet and lacks compassionate care. She intervenes and supersedes in the care of & decision making of the other great veterinarians in the practice. My negative, impactful experiences with her over the past several months include: * A sub par annual exam, that I had to go back a second time and be seen by another vet in the practice. * She refused to renew a pet prescription diet b/c she said our dog was past due for his annual exam. He was two weeks past due & had an annual exam on the schedule. This was explained, & acknowledged, but she still refused. * Lastly, she refused to perform one of our dogs dental cleaning b/c he didn't have routine lab work done in the past year. When I informed the receptionist that my dog did have lab work done 4 months ago, Dr Twedt's response via the receptionist changed to "the lab work needs to be repeated today or she will take him off the procedure schedule without further explanation". She conveys all these messages through her reception staff and doesn't take the time to speak to the pet owner directly. She is driving away clients. It really saddens me to go elsewhere b/c we LOVE our vet in the practice. She should let the other vets practice good Veterinary care without acting as an intermediary. read more

The staff has been friendly and kind. I brought my dog there over 15 years ago and they have taken great care of him. He recently became very ill and ultimately died and they couldn't have been more helpful and provided excellent care. the entire staff was thoughtful and compassionate. read more

Dr. Resnick has been our dogs vet for many many years. She's smart, attentive, caring, and an excellent vet.

I haven't been impressed my the friendliness of my current vet so decided to bring my dog here after reading reviews. Due to COVID-19, pet parents are not allowed to go inside so I was initially hesitant but my gut told me to go with it. My dog desperately needed his eyes checked out. Despite him being a new patient, they were able to give us an appointment for the following morning and picked my dog up from my car once we arrived. I was able to talk to the vet by phone and she suggested what tests she would run and why and once she got my ok, called me back to let me know the results and treatment. I had such a great experience from beginning to end and my dog is doing so much better. So glad we've finally found our permanent vet. Thank you! read more

I recently brought my Chihuahua puppy here and lucked out with Dr. Raznick. She did my dog Diego's injections perfectly as well as also clipping his nails perfectly. Never once did my little guy yelp due to any pain. She also genuinely loves animals and has a sincere concern for my little guy which I appreciate. She never pushes anything on me either as I have experienced with past vets. I did a lot of research on the best vet and feel it definitely paid off. I highly recommend Dr. Raznick! read more

I have been going to Dr. Twedt for over 7 years and I would not change even if I was told that I would receive services for free. She knows that I'm totally nuts about my dog, and therefore I can behave rather crazy as well. She is always comforting and she treats my baby so good. He hates getting his nails clipped, and truth be told he doesn't like being there, but she is patient with him, and when he has been there for any extended time period, my dog seems totally at ease when I arrive. She knows her material and is always receptive to answering all of my questions. What I really like is that she will always return my calls even if its at the end of the day and beyond work hours. read more

Dr. Mendez at Meadow has always treated us very well. She had extra time for my wife and daughter as they asked questions about our new puppy. She practically brought our cat back from the dead. I've been taking my cats to Meadow Veterinary since Dr. Meadow was actually there. He retired several years ago, but gradually brought in Dr. Twedt and others, who provide excellent care for their patients. They've kept my cats up to date on their vaccinations, recommended changes to their diets as they've aged (the cats, not the drs), and in no small part with their help i've had over 13 years with my cats and look forwad to several more. read more

I have been taking my 2 dogs here for the last 10 years, and the care and compassion has been fantastic. However, the communication as of late has been really poor. Phone calls for prescription allergy meds have not been returned. After following up 3 times I was finally told to come in to pick up meds, only to be told they actually did not have them (and that they would be ordered). Never got a call back to tell me they came in, and after calling back yet again, they admitted they did not know when they could get the meds and advised me to order them online for them to approve. We've now lost 4 days, and our dog is risking infection because her allergies (causing her to lick her paws raw) are not being timely treated. Better communication could have saved us time. Through all this, we never got a call from the vet (just us calling the front desk). Unacceptable. We may need to look elsewhere after this experience. read more

Dr Mendez is kind and compassionate...I like and trust her...unfortunately she is the ONLY good kind thing about this practice. I have been taking my pets to this Vet for about 40 years...when it was owned by Mark and Jamie Meadow the energy and the compassion for both the 2 legged and 4 legged patients was barr-none. I have found the new ownership to be cold and removed at best...to care about the bottom line more than the health or life of a pet. The vibe when you walk in to the office is aloof. You are not greeted with a smile...you are made to feel like an inconvenience. I will never use this vet again...my last 2 experiences were so upsetting and disheartening that even in an urgent situation I looked for and found a new option. If any one else has a similar experience pls try Miller-Clark Vet in Mamaroneck. They are everything that Meadow no longer is! read more

I sent my dog for grooming to Meadow Veterinary Hospital. Meadow Hospital claims to have a very experienced groomer on site. My dog came out with a patch of skin shaved off under his left ear. Two days later, the patch under my dogs ear was infected and covered with pus. After our complaints, the hospital offered to show the dog to one of their vets. After the vet examination, the hospital started arguing that the infection was unrelated to grooming and presented us with a 250 US bill, and said they would not give our dog back if we did not foot the bill. Overall, we paid 330 US for pet grooming and got a dog back with an infected ear!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED. There are many other professional options in Westchester. read more

The most compassionate and caring doctors and staff that one would ever pray to have for their pets; I have been to Meadow for 15 years with all of my pets and the compassion, love and genuine caring that they showed when my beloved Snoopy passed made such an overwhelming diffrrence for my family; I will always remember Doctor Mendez and her incredible front desk and technicians who helped us say goodbye to my best friend, Snoopy. I love him so much that I would only allow an amazing physician to care for him.....and she did.....as if he were her own. Dr Mendez, I will always remember my final moments with Snoopy, with my family and yours at our side..I am eternally grateful. read more

Meadow Vet has a great reputation and the doctors there are good at what they do which is why we chose that place. Not far from our home. They treated our cat with excellent care and the doctors are very nurturing. Be very careful Dr. Twet is very kind but her eager to please especially the males that come in with their pets made the wife uncomfortable. More focus on the pet is advisable then getting to known the family. read more

I starting bringing my dog to Dr. Mendez about a year and a half ago based off of her excellent reviews; however, she did not diagnose my dog correctly at all. A few weeks ago my dog was making an odd sound (sounded like he had a lot of phlegm) and couldn't breathe right. He seemed so uncomfortable and overall not well at all. We brought him in and she stated that she never heard this sound before and was not sure what was wrong. So, she decided to just give him an antibiotic in hopes it would help. The medicine did nothing and he continued to suffer, keeping us up at night because of the noises he was making and because he needed comfort. Finally I decided enough was enough and brought him to another vet. The new vet that I brought him to (not at Meadow Vet) knew exactly what was wrong. Quickly took an x-ray found that his lungs were completely filled with water (hence the phlegm sounds) and that his heart was 80% enlarged. He has congestive heart failure. Something that I would think is pretty common! He also clearly had heart disease which led to congestive heart failure (something that Dr. Mendez also did not pick up on). He was given a shot to help release the water in his lungs and two heart medications that he will need for the rest of his life. The next morning he was a new dog! No more sounds and back to his happy self. He would have died had I not brought him somewhere else. As nice and sweet as Dr. Mendez is, she did not try to help my dog. If she didn't know what was wrong she should have asked the other vets in her office or at least attempt to help not just give him some medicine and hope for the best. I do not think she is very knowledgeable at her job. Very disappointed and would never recommend her but grateful that my dog is in better hands now. read more
