I would not send anyone there - I have been there on 2 seperate occasions to by a 10,000 tractor and there is no one that even tries to help...I have asked - no one will even try and help - there are two guys inside that act like you are insane to ask for help and they do not budge from inside....., this is the worst service i have ever encountered......I would not buy a tractor from them - so Im going to Cox ......I encourage everyone else to also read more

This may be the worst place of business in Johnson City. They have no idea what they are doing. To start they have the worst customer service. Some have no idea what they are talking about and others are extremely rude. The actual servicing is no better. Mower went in broken and came right back home broken... but rest assured I got the bill 3 months later and have no idea what they did to it! I call 3 times to finally get a very rude person call back just to tell me I owe the bill. So there's that! So if I could give 0 stars I would. Customer beware! read more

My 3 year old John Deere lawn tractor has been serviced at Meade Tractor the past two years. This tractor is locked in my lower garage at all times when not in use. I am the only operator to ever use it. This year, 2018, after being serviced at Meade Tractor, it was returned to me. When mowing, I discovered that one rear tire had been replaced with a smaller width tire. The rim was the same size, however it is a old, white colored rim, rather than the original bright yellow that appears on the other side of my tractor. Not being real observant, I only realized there was a problem when cutting grass on a side slope. For the first time in 3 years, I nearly slipped out of the tractor seat. That's when I discovered that a different, smaller width tire with a different old white rim replaced my original tire and yellow rim. Other than me mowing on my own property, this tractor has only been in two places--either locked in my garage (which by the way, has a security camera) or being serviced at Meade Tractor. I spoke with Meade Tractor's manager who did not believe Meade Tractor was responsible and did not offer to replace the tire and rim. I have now purchased a new tire elsewhere, which was not even a big cost item. Very, very surprised and disappointed in Meade Tractor of Johnson City. read more

I thought that buying the green machine would automatically equate to great service thru the life of my tractor. I'm wishing I had read some of these reviews before my purchase. My 1025 has been in the shop for 6 weeks and I haven't received one phone call. Today I went in to get a status and the doors were closed and locked 5 minutes before closing time. I was able to speak to the manager and all he did was make excuses for his team that didn't even pass the common sense test. I look forward to engagement from the store manager or someone higher up on the food chain so we can do a deep dive on this experience before I write the next review. It's my hope that these processes can be improved for other customers and for the professional development of the staff. I'm tired of paying others to mow my lawn and not being able to work my property. read more

I bought a John Deere X570 Lawn Tractor for $6,300 at Meade Tractor in Johnson City, TN. I used it for less than 20 hours before it caught fire and was completely destroyed. Although the supposed warranty was the responsibility of John Deere, Meade completely walked away from the problem and refused to help or offer any advice. Both Meade and John Deere couldn't care less and were impossible to deal with. Stay away from Meade and John Deere. I filed product safety complaints with both the State of North Carolina and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission! read more
