They have a 5 minute window for appointments until you are considered late and have to reschedule. I arrived within that window and Allyssa said she would do my wax but not my butt strip which is included in the full Brazilian wax. Butt strip takes less than 5 minutes to do and it's included in the Brazilian wax. Allyssa you and your manager must have been having a bad day that day. I always tipped you well and purchased products from your store for support bc the products are awful. This place is money hungry and the reviews are untrustworthy because it's mainly from people they know. Do not go to this place. They make you do a $30 deposit as well which is ridiculous for a wax. I found a better wax person, no deposit required and they are super clean

It's the ethics that I have an issue with. Do not post your company on Groupon and then try to negotiate a different price when someone tries to make an appointment. There was a special for Halloween that took the Groupon from $36 down to $28 for a Brazilian wax. The woman claimed that that is not a very fair price for her, and said she will need to tack on an extra $25 service fee. I said my wife normally tips well the service fee should not be needed. If you would like me to pay the 36 that is in your original Groupon post I can do that. She said no the $25 service fee is what I'm requiring at this time which would make the Groupon price plus her $25 fee more expensive than just going right to the establishment without a Groupon. Don't post your company on Groupon if you're not going to validate your service. The whole point of Groupon is to get people in your door when the company is not well known of or struggling. Trying to screw over potential customers is not a good way to establish a good line of clientele.

I was…read morevery hesistant about waxing after reading that it causes so much irritation and how it removes part of the skin b/c of they way its applied and removed. So after doing research discovered that sugaring is being used at some places instead of waxing. Found several places in Columbia that uses sugaring but couldn't get an appt so ended up going here. Place: located in the Vista. Easy to find, metered parking. The inside is very well laid out and decorated. A nails technician works there too. They perform other things besides sugaring. Mabel: she was the lady that gave me my sugaring. She made the experience easy enough while being in such a vulnerable and embarrassing position. She stated that she had almost 12 years at what she does. I was hesistant about her application but she reassured me and did not did twice into the sugar. If necessary she used a new glob. She was very professional. Experience: PAINFUL. This was my first experience in such a tender area. I have have my eyebrows threaded and waxed several times but this pain was different. She assured me that new waxers state it is painful the first few times but as you adjust you adapt. I guess this is true b/c i can get my eyebrows done without a muscle twitch. I would fore warn newbies to take 2 pain relievers at least before going like Tylenol or something. During she applied baby powder b/c i was sweating so much. The sugaring felt warm and applied easily. Afterwards i made sure to wash in the store any excess. When she was finished I love the results. It was smooth and soft. Some reddened areas but she applied a special lotion to prevent breaking out. She even went over how to care for the area. The room: was clean and new sheets applied after I was through. All her products looked well care for. The only thing I didn't like was the positioning of the doorway, once she had to answer a call and when she exited I was left exposed when she opened the door. Also, I wish it had thicker walls b/c I could here her and the client before me clearly while I was in the waiting area. At home: the hair didn't return for almost 4 weeks and my skin wasn't irritated at all. I would definitely do it again, with her or a different facility I'm not sure yet. Price: I pay $55 for student discount but the services are pretty pricey.
