She is very good at what she does and has the sweetest way with kids. She always remembers us and we chat like old friends when we see her. We've seen Dr. Glick just once, but she was very professional too. The staff have been helpful and courteous. We had some issues when our insurance didn't want to cover one medication but the staff worked it out for me by submitting a prior authorization form (my prescription insurance can be difficult to work with so I appreciate the way they handled it). I've been so many times that I can't give an actual number and we are usually called back to see the doctor after waiting from 0-15 minutes past the appointment time. I think most doctors' offices are like that. Once, we had to wait an hour, but that has never happened again (I guess everyone has a bad day). When you go, wear a sweater (even in the summer) because the waiting room is really cold! I'd recommend Dr. Groysman and her staff to anyone who needs a caring and thorough dermatologist.

I called several times during business hours and only got voicemail, no live person. I also texted with no response. This is the Cahaba Dermatology & Spa online store, not Vanicream directly. The practice itself may be legitimate, but the online store has not shipped my order and has not responded to email, phone, or text.

Check in was different because you utilized kiosks in this building that gave you a suite number upon completion. You then went through a door that led you to a long hallway of booths/office stations with suite numbers. Find yours, check in again with the individual at your designated suite and await being called for your appointment. I will say that the person I came in contact with to check in at my suite was lackluster. Could have been having a long day. Working with the public can be a drag. Not rude... just had no personality. Although it took a while to be seen - my physician was thorough, knowledgeable and willing to address any questions or concerns I may have had at the time. Pre pay for your parking garage ticket to get out faster on the floor before the main exit.

She is knowledgeable, professional, and someone I have felt confident following medically. However, over the last couple of years, my annual appointments have consistently been with a physician assistant rather than with Dr. Leong. Unfortunately, my experiences with this provider have been disappointing. I have felt talked over during visits, not fully listened to, and at times treated as though my concerns were an inconvenience. I raised these concerns previously and was told I would not have to see this provider again, yet at my most recent visit I was scheduled with her again. The most concerning experience occurred when I became extremely ill. My wife called the office to request medication for nausea and was told that if we did not hear back, we should check the pharmacy. There was no follow-up call and no prescription sent. For a patient of more than two decades, that lack of communication and care felt dismissive and unacceptable. I still have respect for Dr. Leong, but the overall patient experience has declined. Long-term patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and cared for -- especially when acutely ill. I hope the practice and anyone thinking of joining takes this feedback seriously.

Everybody that works here is so nice. . The pricing is a little confusing. They have different " tox clubs " I didn't fully understand. I just usually go and get what I need.. The prices are fair and competitive for Birmingham and I won't be going anywhere else after finding this place, because I enjoyed it. There were some nuances about using filler in the cheeks, which I completely understood and was flexible about. I was happy to proceed with areas the provider was comfortable treating such as the lips. However after this discussion, a different person came in and informed me that my Groupon was not valid for another two months. This was never communicated ahead of time, despite them having access to my chart and booking details. This could have easily been addressed before confirming my appointment and would have saved me time and frustration. What made this even more frustrating is that they had already redeemed my Groupon voucher. When I asked for the appointment to be canceled after learning the voucher was not valid, I was told I would need to take it up with Groupon rather than the office resolving it directly. Additionally, I've consistently felt a lack of professionalism during my visits and it unfortunately seems tied to the fact that I booked through Groupon. Every patient deserves the same level of respect and care, regardless of how services are paid for. I do not recommend this med spa. There are many other professional and reputable options in Birmingham, and I would strongly suggest choosing one of those instead.

Before switching to Inverness Derm, I had been a patient at a large dermatology practice in the Highland Park neighborhood. After many years at that practice, my "Dr" would still come in the examination room and introduce herself to me as though we had never met before even though I have been seeing her every 6 months for several years!!! Between that unbelievably impersonal attitude and couple of other things I left and found Inverness Derm. Once there, I couldn't believe the difference in company (or practice) culture. The staff at the other practice was rude and very aloof... I think they were suffering under the illusion that they were God's gift to medical administration or something. It always felt like we patients were cattle being herded through the office. Not pleasant at all! Anyway, the staff at Inverness has always been very helpful, friendly, courteous, and prompt. I'd also like to say that the friendliness has been very consistent over the 5 years that I've been a patient. On my first visit, I saw Dr. Jacobson. She took a good amount of time speaking with me about my condition and gave me the recommendation she said she would "give to her niece". I appreciated her candor and knowing that she was giving me the same advice that she'd give to her family. Every visit I've had with Dr. Jacobson has been very positive. She's great. I've also seen the P.A., Mary Beth Templin, a number of times. She's very thorough as well, and very friendly. I've always felt very comfortable under her care. As I said above, the whole staff is great. I've been late to a few appointments over the time, and they've always graciously worked with me.
