I visited many ALF before placing my mother at Sunny Hills, the facility itself, is beautiful, the nursing and activity staff have made my mom feel welcome and cared about, motivating her to take meals with her assigned table mates, do chair yoga, enjoy happy hour, monthly outings. I recently visited the site and enjoyed an atmosphere that was warm and inviting; the activity calendar provides for activities and entertainment- on the day of my visit enjoyed a musician / singer. After he was diagnosed with alzheimers, we placed him here based on a search of Florida's health department website. They came, picked him up and helped him get settled in. His room, and the common areas of the home, were always clean and other than for a month the food was homemade by the staff. Although they didn't appear to have much organized activities especially for the end stages, they were pet friendly in allowing me to bring my dog to visit Dad. When he was further along in his condition and we couldn't physically take him to the doctor's appointments the staff would arrange professional transport and accompany him as well. They were especially supportive of our family during my dad's final days. If that decision has to be made, I would recommend Villa Serena as a place to help care for a family member in the end stages of a condition.

They even went as far as throwing my parents an anniversary party including taking my mom to the salon and getting her nails and hair done for the occasion. Worth every penny! I spoke to Nisy directly on the phone and explained what I was looking for. It sounded like she was driving and she told me she'd call me back and never did. I followed up with her via text a couple times and never received a response. The way you interact with clients tells a lot about how you run your business. Nisy was short on the phone with me and lied to me. This was a red flag and a sign that maybe I dodged a bullet. I couldn't imagine hiring this company to care for my health if the business owner doesn't have the decency to communicate back with potential clients.

I called Nisy and was lucky enough to get her the same day of my surgery. I was so happy they she was able to accommodate me especially since it was so last minute. She was an Angel. Once she picked me up from the hospital we went to go get my prescriptions as well as food . From there we came back to my hotel where she took my vitals and created a personal schedule for the times I needed to take medication. She was so supportive and made me feel super comfortable and was there monitoring me the whole time. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions I had and also gave great advice that I can use during my recovery process . You can feel that she really cares about her patients well being which just makes the whole experience even better. I am so thankful to have had her to take care of me and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of recovery services during their cosmetic surgery journey.
