I'm on a new insurance plan and I called the facility today to schedule an appointment. Two different representatives stated my insurance is not accepted there even though they didn't collect ANY information regarding my insurance besides the name of it. They also claimed they called the insurance provider and verified that they are NOT in network. I then told them I'm on my insurance providers website and it shows their facility as in-network, but the representative doubled down and adamantly claimed my insurance isn't accepted and that they already called the insurance provider and verified this info. I then stated that I'll call my insurance directly, and she hung up immediately without a word. I then called my insurance provider to verify as that seemed very suspicious, and the representative stated no one from Broadway Medical Clinic called their office at all. My insurance providers representative then requested I put the facility on the line so she can verify what the issue is. I initiated a conference call and had them speak to each other, and the representative at Broadway Medical Clinic lied AGAIN and stated that they haven't had a chance to call the insurance company, completely opposite of what they told me. After some back and forth between the two, Broadway Medical Clinic finally admitted they actually ARE in network and are able to see me. This took almost 30 minutes of back and forth calls just to verify a simple fact that should have been extremely easy to ascertain - whether they are in network of my insurance plan. The staff at this clinic lied multiple times and were extremely rude, just for them to be wrong at the end. All of this bullshit just to literally schedule a physical. Wow. Speaks a lot to their level of competence and how disrespectful the staff are. Stay far away from this place because if this is how they struggled with such a simple request, I can only imagine the nightmares of letting them deal with your physical health.

I love the feeling that they are always going to be there for me, even after I have lost the weight and reached my goal, even after a year of maintenance is over, I sense that I can still count on them to keep me on track when necessary. I also LOVE the fact that they have GLUTEN FREE food for my husband who is Celiac and on the program, as well. It is wonderful that we are encouraged to add veggies as we cook some of the meals, and vary how we cook their foods. In other words, you have freedom to be creative, within bounds, of course. Believe me, I'm the queen of dieters and have done almost every conceivable diet there is. I have done three day crash diets, again and again and again, rotational diets, I have ordered programs from advertisements, read books about the body, even tried putting all the diets and knowledge I had into one diet, I have been on programs where the foods are all prepared for you and you don't even have to think, you just slam them in the microwave. I have read books on the blood types, the body types, carbs versus calories etc. With Medifast, I am receiving so much personal encouragement, as I discover safe ways to be creative, learn portion sizes to live with for the rest of my life, Learning the balance of calories, fat, carbs and protein. I don't get my hair done very often, this was only my third time getting my hair done and I unfortunately booked with her for a wedding I had. First of all, I got to my appointment on time, and her friend who also works at the salon asked for a quick blowout, so she took her and wasted 10 minutes of my appointment. Secondly, I have naturally curly hair and blow dried it but my roots curled up as usual. She spent 10-15 minutes lecturing me about how my hair isn't properly blow dried, and that she can't work on it. I had also brought extensions THAT WERE ALREADY STRAIGHTENED. She told me to pick another hairstyle that "would take less time." So in the end, I had to change my hairstyle, she put TWO pieces of extensions in, and my hair fell out in maybe an hour. When I asked around about her a few days later, I found out a bunch of other girls had a similar experience, specifically with her rude service. Definitely never coming here again, or reccomending her to anyone.
