Everyone I've worked with has been professional, accommodating, and talented, and I truly appreciate the care over the years. However, during my last couple of visits, my eyebrow area was burned from the wax, which was concerning and uncomfortable. Beyond that, the overall vibe during my last appointment felt off. It's hard to explain, but it didn't feel as warm or welcoming as it once did. Recently, I started a new job that conflicts with their operating hours, so I had to cancel my membership. After being a member for years, I was charged a $25 cancellation fee, and the interaction felt very transactional. There was no "sorry to see you go" or acknowledgment of the loyalty I had shown over the years. I even mentioned that I was going to miss coming here, and the response felt dismissive aside from a quick congratulations on the new job. Again, I do want to emphasize that the actual services have generally been great and the staff has often been accommodating. This wasn't an easy decision because I genuinely enjoyed coming here for a long time. But when you no longer feel valued as a longtime client, walking away becomes a little easier.

I booked an appointment with Kae via ClassPass on Saturday December 4th. This is a very busy time…read moreof the year for me due to my workload. I went to my appointment and was 5 mins early. I followed the instruction on ClassPass on how to enter her building. The door code wasn't working. I called the business number and twice and no answer. I texted and she responded with: " Hi, is this Leslie. I had you booked through ClassPass and they don't provide me with your phone number, only emails. Classpass should have notified you I cancelled, I I had to cancel due to an emergency." I was truly bummed as I planned my whole day around this appointment. I completely understand that this can happen; that's not the problem. She then offered me to come back. The day I wanted to come in she's actually off. Therefore, I didn't get back to her with a date. I texted her today asking if she happened to have availability tomorrow; trying to gauge if she could squeeze me in or have an opening. She never replied. I then texted her 6 hours later. She replied with: " Hello, I tried to resolve this on Saturday but you state you didn't have any availability this week. If you're like to rebook feel free to do so through Classpass! Again, I apologize for Saturday but it was an unforeseen circumstance." What a huge disappointment. This is not good business etiquette and extremely poor customer service. These services usually come with a cancellation fee; meaning if I had an "unforeseen circumstance" I'd be charged a fee - understandably so as it's only fair to pay the business for their time assuming said business could have booked another appointment to ensure income. Yet because my schedule is so tight and I couldn't give her an exact answer date - She is now refusing to provide me the complimentary service she promised me. Going back on her word. Literally less than a week later as today is Thursday Dec. 7th. I politely declined booking on Classpass as I would not support this type of customer treatment. Not a good experience.
