The other companies were not as friendly and responsive. We also read their Yelp reviews, which we all good, so we figured we would use them. We were able to make the appointment for the next day and were able to do it all through text. It was very simple for us! There was a moment of uncertainty but they were extremely professional and friendly. I was going to be home while my wife was at work, so on the day of our appointment, they were running early. They called asking if early would be ok, so our appointment was moved up. I cannot remember his name, but the technician that came was very knowledgeable and professional. He pinpointed the issue immediately. He discovered our dryer was clogged with lint and the coils were bad. It makes sense since we had never had our vents cleaned. He was able to replace the coils, as well as sucking out as much lint as he could with his tools. Unfortunately, they do not clean vents like that but again, he could help us out with some of it. He also made suggestions as to what else needed to be done, really with just getting the vents cleaned. They also take your payment online either with credit card, for a small fee, or Zelle or Venmo. The invoice will be emailed to you and allow you to pay that way. Personally, we do not prefer to pay for services with Zelle so we used a credit card. It was very simple. I thought overall the price they charged for the coils and cleaning, was very reasonable. It did not cost us much at all. I would definitely use them again, should we need something fixed.

Luckily my husband was home so no issues. He was extremely professional and very helpful. He discovered our dryer was very full of lint (bad on our part) and the coils were bad. He spent about 1/2 hour to investigate as well as disassemble the control panel and other parts, and mentioned something about the heating element and another component being broken. He informed us that it would be better to buy a new dryer as the costs of repair would not be worth it (around 450 dollars). We appreciated his honesty and told him we will buy a new dryer for a store. Thus, we paid 140 dollars for the specialist to come and investigate, but no repairs. It was definitely costly, but we did appreciate their honestly. I also noticed that he had what looked to be a body camera, which wasn't mentioned. Thus, if being filmed rubs you the wrong way, it may be good to hire someone else. While I would recommend their service, I may check directly with the manufacturers if they do repairs as just the cost of the investigation from Hartman's was quite expensive.

Great Customer Service!!!…read more I called Hartman's Appliance to schedule a repair on my whirlpool front load washer in my MotorCoach, after dealing with another appliance repair company in south Florida during a recent trip and totally getting ripped off but that's another story, I was relieved to find a appliance repair company with integrity. The other repair company I thought had trouble-shot the issue which was a simple door switch but after the Hartman Technician looked at the washer and lookEd online, he found the washer had issues with an interface module that whirlpool has issued a recall that will require me to get authorization through whirlpool before this issue can be resolved but the technician did provide me with all the information I need to get the problem resolved. Being the other appliance repair company stole the door switch part he removed and has refused to ship me the old part, the new replacement part or refund the $148 he required prior to ordering the part. The Hartman Technician installed a new door switch and put the washer back together and walked me through the whirlpool recall / repair process, so they will definitely be involved once things are settled with Whirlpool. I cannot say enough about the customer service they provided from the start of the process which began with Pattie who took down the details and set up the service call, she was awesome and I really appreciate her communication skills, I also know Christine was involved to ensure the tech was provided with accurate information and finally the technician I'm sorry but I think he name was Jason he was very knowledgeable, professional and took great care when working inside my MotorCoach while working on the washer.
