Was scheduled for my blood work and got that taken care of the new receptionist is very nice. The office is always immaculate and they were on time as usual. Highly recommend if needed. MCR health is very helpful. They will lead you in the right direction on whatever issues that you're dealing with Dr. Lear quality of care is above and beyond treated like a patient and not a number and that's important. Every medical professional I've come into contact with at MCR Health has been superb! Then they even deliver my medications to my home! A++!

Staff in the eye care department was very rude and was not very welcoming. They weren't very attentive to the patients and there were two young ladies at the front desk that would put people on hold just to continue to be on their phone. There also was an employee named John Carlos that's was very rude when it came to being seen. very bad experience I would not recommend. The only employee that made the appointment comforting was an employee by the name of Naomi I believe but overall terrible. read more

Excellent care. The entire staff was friendly and professional. Scheduling was very easy. My appointments were for the diagnosis of a benign cancer. My follow-up was only 1 week later. And the biopsy procedure was yuck and easy. I highly recommend MCR! read more

Mary Walter is the best pediatrician we have ever had. Both of my children have medical conditions and she is fantastic with both of them . She is thorough and very knowledgeable. She is also humble enough to admit when she needs to look up information on something. She will refer out to specialists if needed. She listens to my concerns and my kids have a voice as well. LOVE this facility and provider and wouldn't recommend anyone else. read more

The phones are not answered promptly sometimes and calls are not returned. The providers do a good job in treating their patients. The facility is not conducive to comfort for their waiting patients. Overall the service is very good. read more

Nobody answers the phone. No call back when you leave messages. The fail to call meds in. I've been trying for a week to get in touch with my provider. I've been without my blood pressure meds for a week. I tried to get ahold of someone in charge all I got was no help at all. I saw Dr. Walsh, and as a female I usually see a female doctor so I was a bit hesitant. When I met him he had the greatest energy! He asked questions and truly tried to understand the issues I am having. He offered several recommendations and was all around a great person! Super happy with the experience. My experiences with Dr. Elizabeth Ortiz-Gonzalez, an internist, have been horrible. There have been multiple instances of a complete lack of professionalism. I will address the worst of these. For nine days, Dr. Gonzalez ignored pharmacy requests for a prescription refill for me, then, inexplicably, she refused to refill my medicine. She did this without contacting me to explain her concern. Days later I learned, through my pursuit of information, that her reason for denying my prescription request was a missed doctor's appointment. Credibility for that reason vaporizes when the following facts surface: 1) I had never missed an appointment previously; 2) this was a routine every-six-months-appointment, missed due to an automobile accident (with notification given in a timely way); 3) there had been a telehealth visit just five weeks before that missed appointment; 4) Days after the telehealth visit, Dr. Gonzalez received a two-page letter from me offering related history, symptom updates, and an openness to treatment suggestions from her, but she never responded; 5) the portal showed I was up to date with my appointments; 6) there was never a request from Dr. Gonzalez for a faster rescheduling of appointment; 7) there were no issues about the medicine previously prescribed by her. Yet Dr. Gonzalez withheld heart medicine from a 78-year-old man who had two heart attacks and a stroke--and she did so for nine weeks! Moreover, throughout this period, she never tried to call me to see how I was doing. A doctor is supposed to be a patient's advocate. Don't count on that from Dr. Elizabeth Ortiz-Gonzalez. read more

I want to start by saying that I was a patient at MCR about 15 years ago and was disappointed BUT whoever is in charge now deserves a standing ovation! Being a retired DO I am very particular about the treatment I receive. First off, the facility that my practitioners are located (Southwest Healthcare) is spotless. The front desk staff could have more personality but that's not a deal breaker. Brandon Lehr, my primary care provider is outstanding. I'm so very pleased with his bedside manner, his knowledge of complex medical issues, his commitment to care and most importantly, his execution of said care is flawless. I also see Dr Escobar and I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised to see that MCR employs staff with impeccable credentials such as his. He has an easygoing manner that made me feel immediately comfortable. I actually enjoy my office calls with him which is a refreshing experience compared to practitioners in similar positions I've had in the past. I have no doubt that his concern for my wellbeing and his commitment to care is genuine. As to the nursing and other ancillary staff, outstanding! Just a quick kudos to the lab technician/phlebotomist. I know I am a difficult stick when it comes to drawing blood for lab work, but I've never had a bad experience with all of my numerous bood draws being done in one stick. In summation I want to say that I am blown away by the transformation of MCR! If you haven't been here in a while, I suggest that you give them another try. The difference is like night and day! If you've never been to MCR, I can't give them any higher recommendation. Thanks MCR! read more

Absolutely the worst medical facility on the planet, my last visit, after over 3 hour wait time, and another hour in exam room, Dr came in called me by incorrect name, and continued to use wrong name even after being corrected. Gave test results for test I never had and attempted to give prescription for test I never had. All Dr was worried about was scheduling more tests, and reminding me about co-pay. This group of so called medical professionals will end up doing far more damage than they cure or eventually killing a patient due to all their focus is on more testing and more money. Would recommended staying as far away as possible, I would go to a meeting witch Dr before going back to this group of offices. read more

Places like this need to stop being funded by the State and County. Wait time are insane. The front counter staff are consistently rude and unprofessional. Talk to the staff on the phone to confirm details. Then get to the office and get called a liar because no one there would tell you that we treat that come on in. I had an outstanding experience with this facility today. Without them I and my Family have absolutely NO alternative as we have no health insurance whatsoever and cannot afford any other doctor or facility. This facility offers us health care which we would not have otherwise and takes into account our income and charges reasonable rates. I highly appreciated the staff today as they were tentative, prompt, friendly and professional. Obviously there will be times when the experience is nightmarish, but one must ALWAYS realize that if it is nightmarish for YOU it is actually much worse for the staff. We have to be realistic in what they are faced with, give them credit for just being people like the rest of us. They handle the pressure they are under MUCH better than most of us ever would given the circumstances they must operate under. Without THEM, MANY of us would be out in the cold. We all need to thank GOD for these people. Everyone needs to stay in touch with reality in that many of us throughout the years of healthcare have become complacent in our appreciation and spoiled with having so much. Imagine a world where nobody has any health care? That is 30-50 million Americans today! THAT is REALITY! I came in today after waiting over a month for an appointment. The main purpose of this visit was to establish recent medical history for myself and due to alot of foot pain I asked to see a Pediatric doctor, they told me I had to see a regular doctor first, which is why it took a month for my appointment. When I came in, the feeling wasnt very friendly, I filled out a bunch of paperwork that I really did not understand, was asked the same questions by the nurse and doctor who saw me and yet nothing was solved or addressed. I was recommended to come here by a friend and a family member because its free for a lot of people, or if anything has a very minimal cost. I have no insurance and I am unemployed, which I stated when I first came in and filled out my paperwork. After my interview with the nurse and brief meeting with the doctor I was told I need to have bloodwork and I had to come back for a second meeting with a doctor. Again, the severe pain in my foot was not addressed or even questioned. When it came time to leave and to schedule a time for blood work, i was told I had to pay $90 for my visit! After I had stated that I could not pay before anything even started. Apparently, because my mother makes a certain amount of money, she is expected to pay for my medical bills, though I am 29 years old, how does that make sense? Their solution? Get a Notarized letter that I have to write myself stating that I am unemployed. So instead of taking my word on my being broke and unemployed, I have to pay for a notary to make me being broke official? How humiliating is that? read more
