Dr. Gish has been the most invested caring doctor I've seen. She's listened with the various life changing events going on in my life and cared as well as treated my medical issues. Amazing doctor. My boys also see Dr. Zaleski and we've had a very positive experience with him as well. The staff is also great. Don't let the poor reflection of the rating stop you from giving this office a try. Would give Kahane ZERO if I could. We're just finding out over two years later that he and the psychiatrist he referred me to overloaded me on a mix of EIGHT different POISONS over the course of THREE MONTHS: an antidepressant, benzos, Lunesta. an antipsychotic and ordered 2 different anti seizure meds, which I refused. All this stemming from ONE panic attack that led to the inappropriate prescribing of these POISONS; not once did any of these lessen my symptoms, but rather worsened them and presented new ones which led to more drugs and new false diagnoses. And the worst, an attempted OD that left me hospitalized. But first: I was only on levothyroxine for years, and after ONE panic attack he had me STOP it for 4 days, then restart it at 50%, a drastic reduction after being stable for decades. He then gave me Xanax, mirtazapine, busparone all within 2 weeks and didn't stop there. He did not once appear to monitor the effectiveness and potential paradoxical effects, which we now know was the case: the drugs worsened the symptoms they were designed to treat. Both my husband and I both left his " practice" due to the aforementioned incompetence and unjustified arrogance of his refusal to refer me to an endocrinologist once another physician ( granted, a former anesthesiologist turned wellness MD) ordered blood labs that showed a high level of thyroid antibodies leading to a Dx of Hashimotos. (Aside: Kahane also declined my request for a referral to a dermatologist to remove my husband's skin tags, claiming he could do it... we were horrified when he proceeded to numb him with lidocaine and cut the 30+ of them with a scalpel, which by the way my husband felt, rather than cauterize them as we had anticipated. I went from living a HEALTHY and productive life as a physical therapist and athlete to being mostly bed bound and suffering from a myriad of major medical problems. Look up the dangers of not tapering these poisons, as well as lingering effects on the nervous system, BIND ( benzo. Induced neurologic dysfunction), kindling... find Dr. Josef on YouTube. Mitch is the most unprofessional office manager ive ever experienced. To start, i came in for a referral. It was stated, that i came in for a referral to have a small tumor removed from my jaw. After I came in, the Dr's new assistant, amber, was very nice. She was a little jittery but kind and nice. Dr Gish, also Very nice. I liked her right away. However, after this appointment is where everything went wrong - I called my surgeon's office a few days later asking if they had the referral yet and of course they didn't So when I finally got through and talked to Amber again, she had absolutely no idea who I was and questioned me actually Coming in for the referral. She said oh you came in for a referral, no. Period. - So I interrupted her and said absolutely I came in for a referral. You don't remember me? I have a tumor in my face. That's the whole reason for me coming in and nothing more. Oh wait I guess you did .... Really??? My wife experienced similar issues. Same thing Amber didn't know what was going on. I don't think she's had enough time to train or perhaps this is overwhelming for her So when we called to talk to the office manager, Mitch. Immediately he was on the defense no apology just black-and-white. His tone alone made me want to hang up on him. This guy is a flat out jerk. When i said its fine, i wont return. He texted my wife and cancelled her too. What THE f k???? Who the f do you think you are??? Did i strike a cord? I had a GP that without question saved my life by his pro-active, depth of knowledge and ability to diagnose problems that could be a precursor to serious outcome. I never thought I would ever find a similar doctor when I moved to Florida. I was wrong. My current doctor, Thomas Walsh, DO is exactly that kind of skilled, pleasant doctor. I was pleased with how quickly this practice could get me in. That's my one positive. From here the place went downhill. The PA blew off my concerns and acted like there was nothing wrong with me. She did end up prescribing a continuation of the prescription that the hospital had put me on. I had to call twice to get them to actually send that prescription in. Once they finally did so and I picked it up and looked at it at home, I realized they had sent the WRONG prescription. I used to love going here. Dr. Audrey Lewerenz-Walsh was the best. Very Caring and understanding. Even her medical assistant Kristen was amazing. Now that she retired the care about patients is gone. I now have to fight to get a prescription refilled and she always made sure I had enough to last me 3 month till my next visit. Very disappointed will the care I am getting now. read more

I loved Dr. Gish, but her new MA, Amber, clearly doesn't know what she is doing. I had to call multiple times for prescriptions, only to have the wrong medications called in. The pharmacy was frustrated waiting for replies, and I had to reschedule appointments due to the lack of prescriptions to follow up with. I complained to the front desk multiple times. I was forwarded to a Mitch, who I assume is a manager? His behavior was very unprofessional. I tried to make him aware of her mistakes and my frustration, only for him to put me on speakerphone with Amber in the room. He is not a caring or supportive person. Having been in the medical field for many years, I have never seen such disregard for patients. My husband called as well, and he said he would not be coming back. I then received a text from Mitch saying I need to find a new Doctor. Professionalism and compassion should be the standard in healthcare, and unfortunately, I did not experience either here. read more

For some unknown reason, won't prescribe 5% lidocaine patches for my fractured rib without me coming in AGAIN while I suffer in pain. They have x-rays. Went as far as calling the patches narcotics which they aren't. They are a local anesthetic. At this point, I feel like it's nothing more than a money grab from my insurance to refuse prescription without another office visit. read more

I had been sick for months, I had to wait 3 weeks to get an appointment then all he did was take blood work and I had to wait another 3 weeks to get the results then he wants to refer me to a rheumatologist which I've been waiting 3 weeks for an appointment for..... I feel worse today than I did when I originally went there because they haven't done anything at all not even make an appointment for me. So after I make a review on Google The physician has enough nerve to call my cell leaving me a unprofessional voicemail then banning me from his practice....so now he got paid twice and I got nothing....bc they never made my referral appointment with the rheumatologist. Explanations are thorough and engaging, he allows the patient options regarding care when appropriate. His office is always available and his calls to us are returned in relative short order, particularly when I travel. read more

Front office are very unorganized and do not file new papers from other offices. Dr Thomas Walsh is does not review past history notes due to his lack of care. He prescribed a drug that previously caused harm to me. The center is all about money and does not care for the patience. Strongly advice you go somewhere else and avoid this doctor. read more

The front office people are fabulous. Dr. Kahane has multiple specialties which cuts down on me having to be followed by multiple physicians juggling multiple medications. Dr Kahane explains clearly, communicates kindly, listens well and remembers who I am and what my concerns are. They draw blood right there in the office which cuts down on another "make an appointment/get transportation" for lab work. read more

Dr. Thomas Walsh DO was my doctor 4 years. He was my Mom's doctor too for awhile, but she was uncomfortable with his lax approach in providing care. I, on the other hand, just wanted to get in and out of the office and appreciated that he wasn't thorough, concerned or hands-on. The clerk at any mini-mart could provide the same care or better with the exception of obtaining prescription medicine refills. He was rather emphatic about getting mammograms though. I have a lot more to say but would like to keep this simple for now. In the end I was banned from the practice for requesting a cancellation of an "every three month" appointment. I was injured and had extensive stitches totalling about 5 feet. I didn't feel like showing up for the sole reason of my doctor billing for a visit to refill my medication. My request to skip this one 3-month visit was met with complete dismissal. It seems pretty clear what is the most important thing to Complete Care; complete, uninterrupted billing. read more

Dr Kahane is a great doctor in my opinion. He takes the time to listen to you. The nurses are all very friendly too.

As a new patient,was shocked when I went for 1st. Appointment.as a new patient called gave all insurance info,was told they are in network.receptionist took insurance info again. Made appointment.was happy,as I needed a new primary care dr.so disappointed upon arrival.not busy but behind the counter,was kaos, I was the only one in line but had to wait 10min. Or so to check in.then I was told they don't accept my insurance.then was told I needed $240first.then some story about they don't know how much Medicare will pay, t I refused, was told to leave. Called insurance company,they confirmed that they are in network and accept my insurance,she calls complete care talks with Mitch billing office manager,he explains that he didn't want to be unfair to as it was a $30co pay and thought I couldn't pay so they refused me. My family had just moved to Bradenton for my job. Not really knowing the area or having a PC to go to, a co-worker had recommend Dr. Kahane at Complete Care. They couldn't say enough good things about him. I had some bad experiences in the Gainesville area where I used to live, with a handful of PC's. I can be picky when it comes to mds. However my co-worker couldn't have been more right. Dr. Kahane and his staff at Complete Care are beyond fantastic. They get you in when needed, I have never waited more than 15 minutes on one of their busiest days, extremely informative with any of your questions. The office is extremely clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well. Dr. Kahane is great with my kids as well! I would highly recommend Dr. Kahane and Complete Care to anyone in the area! 5 Stars! read more
