They have been excellent-always helping me find the right specialists and care I need. Jessica Fennel, APRN, has been who I've seen every time I've had an appointment. She is nice, thorough and knowledgeable. She works through Dr.Douglas Walsh. She has always helped whatever I've needed. I definitely recommend North Manatee Family Healthcare. They maintain Covid safety procedures which makes me feel safe. Every single person I've worked with from the staff answering phones, nurses and my APRN have been excellent. They all seem to really care about the patients and doing what they can to help. I am very happy to come here because I know they will do their best for me.

I have been dealing with a chronic issue that continues to worsen, and she always takes me seriously and does not brush me off, which I genuinely appreciate. I have been in her office in tears, ready to give up and she can always reassure me and bring me back to earth. She never hesitates to make a referral to a specialist, which means a lot. I have been to some primaries who try to know everything and they tend to have you going in circles for a while. I also appreciate that if I mention wanting a specific test done, she doesn't get upset and is more than willing to help me get it done. She believes in preventative care and is extremely professional. Her offices are clean and well run, she truly cares about her patients, and she is easy to talk to. Since money was always an issue for me, she went out of her way to give me samples or discount coupons on my prescription medications, when they were available. She also made sure to discuss every aspect of life with me that would affect my health; such as diet, stress, excercise, family history, and overall well being. She has also given me excellent referrals and worked with my insurance companies to make sure that my preventative care is covered. Sometimes her office staff and nurses can be pushy or rude, since she is in a shared office complex with other doctors.

SOOO glad I did, from the moment you walk in the office until you leave it is a professional atmosphere. I've been there twice and both times I checked in and was back in the room within 8 minutes if that. Maybe 2 minutes before the Doctor came in. AMAZING as I normally sit in the waiting room for 15 to 20 minutes past my scheduled time. Also, I had called and left a message with the dr.s nurse and receive a return call the same day. Other places I've waited 2 days.... I see Dr. Pineo LOVE him, listens to you and takes his time. He talks to you like its your friend and goes the route of trying things before throwing you on medication. I would highly recommend this practice. I have referred others and they love it as much as I do.

I came in for a normal blood test today. Not a good experience! Now I am not normally a complainer…read morebut I felt I need to tell someone. The girl that tried to take my blood took 5 tries before hitting a good vein. Of course it hurt and now my wrist ( where she finally got blood ) is swelled and hurting. I don't know if she was in experienced or just had a bad day but I think more training might be a good idea. P.S. I have been a patient here for more than 5 years and have never had this happen before. Thank you.
