Above and beyond problems with Heckaman, I had numerous problems with Shew Design. At 70 years of age, my previous home burned to the ground on April 3, 2020. Later that month, I was told to expect to move into my "turnkey" Heckaman Home in "July or August." I moved in two weeks before Christmas despite many things not being completed. Many of the things I was told verbally didn't happen. There are NEC violations in the breaker box, there was needless damage to my large lot and yard ornaments, ceiling insulation was loose cellulose that wasn't leveled and fell far below general standards for this area. A Pex fitting blew apart the first time I turned on the plumbing. I received a large bill from a sub-contractor that I hadn't contracted with. There was no caulk around plumbing. The list could go on and on.

ALPHA DRAINS Outstanding Septic Service…read more We were preparing a deceased relative's home for sale and noticed that the toilets were very slow, and suspected some significant issues with the septic system. We contacted three local septic services and the first two services were unable to locate the necessary access points and components of the septic system, which had not been serviced for 5-6 years. However, Eric Bustamante, owner of ALPHA DRAINS (our third provider), after considerable effort was able to find the necessary access points to pump out the underground tanks and provide a clear understanding of this complex septic system. It then took two trips to pump out the system. Eric also found that there were also some obstructions in the system, which required another trip. He performed a drain line video inspection to locate and eventually clear the clogs. Now the system is operating properly. Eric provided clear communications about the necessary septic services and pricing. He was prompt for appointments and demonstrated a high standard for his work. We would highly recommend ALPHA DRAINS, LLC, and would use them again.
