Dr. Kabins went through every possible scenario of what could be causing my constant radiculopathy and progressive weakness. I still remember him saying at the beginning of our first visit together "I have more questions than answers right now". Well he found all of the answers and more. After a long and complicated surgery, he has restored hope in my future. I'm relatively young with children and am well on the way to being active again. Dr. Kabins cares and I promise you will feel that as his patient. I wish I could give more stars. Also, the office staff and surgical team are top notch!

He was rude, annoyed and just flat out unprofessional. He did not see x-rays of my back and he stormed out of the room slammed the door and started talking very rudely about me.. I got up, got dressed mid appointment and told them I would not go further with this appointment with him. My father seen him from 2001 to 2008 and he was nothing like this. I feel when you do not like your job you should go ahead and retire. I cried explaining myself to one of the staff how I felt uncomfortable how he treated me by the reviews you would think he was wonderful, but I had a different story and I'm gonna keep reporting because he was truly rude, hateful, and downright unprofessional!!

I first impression was confidence and compassion for the patient. He explained all the process and procedures and helped me to take the correct decision quickly. He sent to the pharmacy the medication that I needed and right away marked my surgery in the calendar. I had an hernia in C6-C7 that was causing horrible pain due my nerve compression. My surgery was completely perfect and I came back home in the same day with 100% assistance with his Team 24 hs through a cell phone ( messages or calls) After 2 weeks I came back Dr Bassiwetz still recovering but completely satisfied and free of pain. No matter what setting you are in, when you are a doctor, you have a duty to help people in need. Dr. Daniel Lee fell short in that area. I left feeling unheard, dismissed, disappointed, misdiagnosed , and no closer to resolving my pain. I would not recommend him. Poor morals, he should be ashamed as a spinal surgeon.

Her doctor has referred her to see him because he "was not surgery happy". After a year and a half of severe pain, countless doctors, and treatments I figured I'd give it a try. He did end up recommending I have surgery but when I told him about my apprehension he said we can try everything else first. Those things did not work and I ended up having the surgery. I had excellent results and have my life back. The difference is incredible. Since my surgery I have recommended Dr.Lee to others and they have been happy as well. And he did not recommend they have surgery, so I'm still confident that he's not surgery happy!

I was able to recover almost all of my movement. I really can't tell, there was ever anything wrong. I also had surgery on my back this year by Komelis Poelstra, I was struggling with Sciatica to a point I could barely stand up. Dr Poelstra did an incredible job. I have zero problems with my back or my neck. You hear nightmares of people's surgeries but my story couldn't be better, they definitely changed my life for the better.

She entered the room and didn't even introduce herself so I didn't even know her name for this review until I got my patient paperwork. My primary doctor referred me to Orthopedic & Spine Institute concerned that I have spinal arteritis. I told this to Greenhalgh and she just scoffed and said that I was too young to have such a problem. I'm 41 with quite a few deteriorating illnesses since childhood there is nothing "too young" but my body or condition. She didn't ask about the background of my medical condition or family history. When I told her about the neuropathy in both of my legs she looked at me shocked and said "you had diabetes??" opening my patient file would have shown her that fact, my generational diabetes is the first thing listed in my patient folder. She tried to A1C shame me when I told her my A1C is 7.6 then back tracked when I told her my A1C was 14.8 and I've been working hard to revert my A1C. She told me my problem would go away if I loss weight and exercise. -Again- because she didn't ask me anything about anything she would have known that I work out everyday already and go to Physical Therapy for my frozen shoulder and am already at my target weight goal. I'm already the smallest and most fit me of my life and the back problem came after. She never examined me physically she only looked at the x-rays and she said that it showed that my spine bones are deteriorating but apparently the solution for bone loss is to stop being fat She told me I was too young for back problems at least 4 times and that I just need to lose weight at least 3 times. Complete waste of time and money. I went to see my primary today and told them everything and they're referring me to a pain management specialist and a different orthopedic place. It's too bad because I already go to UMC Orthopedic & Spine Institute to see Dr Iman for my frozen shoulder and he's great. I was really excited to finally be seen about my back problems and just throughly disappointed in Angela Greenhalgh lack of skill and treatment. It just goes to show that one bad apple can ruin a whole tree because I never want to go back to this establishment.

Reception was wonderful. The person who took me back to do my x-rays was very sweet and the girl who did my x-rays was very patient with me because my arm and shoulder was in such pain. Even the girl who took my information in the room before the doctor came in was super friendly! All that changed when Dr Huff came in the room. The man does not listen. He basically discredited how I was feeling and told me it was not my shoulder but my neck. That's totally fine that he was able to let me know that the pain I was feeling was actually coming from a pinched nerve in my neck. His delivery was awful. My adult daughter was with me, because she drove me and when we walked out she said that guy is such a jerk! His tone was condescending, almost mocking. I would never recommend anyone to him, ever.

I spoke with my primary physician and she referred my to Dr. Lee at Desert Orthopedic Center, just to be sure that there wasn't something else going on. Making an appointment was super easy. They called me immediately after receiving my referral and I was shocked that they were able to see me within a week. These sorts of medical offices usually have a long waiting list. I was signed up for the portal and told that some forms would be sent to me or I'd have to be in 30 min early (instead of 15) to fill out said paperwork. I got a few emails but never any forms. I arrived more than 30 min early because of this. I didn't get called up to do my paperwork until the time of my appointment and it actually wasn't really any paperwork. The person at the desk asked me questions and I signed two forms and we were done. Although my appointment didn't start on time, I didn't have to wait long once called back. Everything was quick and efficient and friendly. I loved how everyone gave their names and explained where and why and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Lee was great. Informative and helpful. He gave me options. I chose the cortisone shot, which was done right there in office. The office is large but clean, not as modern as other places but that's ok. I'd definitely recommend this place and will be back if any other issues arise.

Dr Batlan is worth your time to see if you think you will never get relief without pills. I had lower back lumbar and cervical injections. So happy to be relived completely of my pain. I did not want to live on pain medications and I am happy to say I am almost completely pain free. Dr Batlan utilizes Seven Hills Surgery Center for his procedures and they are wonderful too. Pain is debilitating. I would encourage anyone in pain to see Dr Daniel Batlan.
