I didn't know that service like this still existed in the world. Raul and his team were absolutely dedicated to my happiness with my kitchen floor. The communication and follow-up were impeccable, and they were very accommodating for making appointments, too. My situation is I have recession rent, so that my landlord wouldn't help us out with the work that needed to be done on our kitchen floor. I thought we had linoleum, but Raul identified it as PVC. I wish we had a more environmentally acceptable flooring, but at least I found a green-friendly cleaner. We saved the tiles from the dump/incineration and got them cleaned up and covered a double coat of wax on them, which turned them from yellowish grey to sky blue. I also learned that with waxed floors you shouldn't scrub or use harsh acidic cleaners on them - that only compromises the finish more. A team of 4 guys came over for about 4 hours for the process of stripping and rewaxing. This is also a family company and Raul stuck around for his guys making sure everyone and everything was doing well. In the end, I felt that I had gotten a very good value for the man hours and expertise. It gets even better if you can split the cost amongst roommates. Now our kitchen floor feels fantastic underfoot and I actually know how to take care of it. To my surprise my appointment was scheduled for the next morning for 9:30am. Carlos and Noel were out here on time, exactly as scheduled. Which is always a plus. I am writing the short end to finish Toni's fabulous beginning. We have been living in our house for over a year now and are slowly starting to figure out what furniture we want/need, etc. One big item on my list was a giant rug for our upstairs "game/hang out/chill/whatever room", and haven't been excited about any nor paying a lot of money knowing that there's a teenager and friends hanging about. When I learned my folks had purchased new rugs during their trip to Turkey (learned this info on Yelp through Toni's review), I told her point blank I had dibs as the RYA rug they were replacing was a rug I have known for the entire time I have known My Toni. It has "MY" colors, my fond memories of playing with Emily on that rug(our dog when I lived with them during middle school and for many years after), the floor time with Ilana as a baby, the times Genie would let me get near her if my Dad was in his chair and the memories go on. Like me, the rug has aged and though still in good shape, is not as elegant as it once was but still a beauty in my eyes. I asked for the other rug as well as we have several rooms that could use a little accent of color and act as some protection for our gorgeous wood floors. The rugs were delivered today (Friday) as I had to reschedule due to being called for Jury Duty Wednesday. Angie, who is the delivery coordinator was great about rescheduling, followed up with the time frame and the guys delivered both rugs just shortly after our delivery window began. We were ready to pay, but were told that Angie would call us later to get our credit card information. Toni was instrumental in all of this-and even ensured they would be able to get the pet dander out so Ilana's allergies won't be triggered. I will go and purchase a new carpet pad and though this will still be a rug that will be tromped on by teens, the price was perfect (we paid for the cleaning), Toni did all the hard work coordinating and we were able to find a new gem of a company to rave about. I'm so pleased with the results of McNevin's employees work that I'm writing my first Yelp review. I have a vinyl kitchen floor that was installed 35 years ago. The floor always looked dirty because of the build up of floor wax. My family suggested that I get new flooring. Instead, I decided to get the floor professionally cleaned and 3 coats of acrylic finish applied. Dan and Luis from McNevin's Cleaning Specialists did such an excellent job that the floors look almost as good as new! Raul and his team handled everything seamlessly from top to bottom. They were recommended to us by the property managers in our office building, but given the way the carpets turned out, the impeccable attention to detail (including these little squares to keep the planters and chairs off the drying wet carpet), and the great follow up, I shall be using them for my apartment as well. We're renters (who pretend like we own our place) and we hired McNevin to strip/seal our kitchen floor. We had no idea if the floor was slate, tile, linoleum... Raul ran a few tests and found out we have a soapstone floor. Excellent! The guys stripped the layers of old wax off and applied a sealant. It looks fantastic! The best part about working with Raul is that he's very detail oriented and he's a great communicator. A few hours after the team left our apartment, I received an email from him detailing what they did and how I should go about cleaning the floor in the future. The guys even gave my husband a few tips on how to clean the stubborn stains in our stairwell's entryway on their way out. We will definitely call McNevin for any future projects. How have I not reviewed McNevin? They are amazing! I had used them at my last company, there is was quarterly to then bi-annual basic service for Carpet Cleaning. They did a great job, but the main reason they so deserve these 5 stars is my most recent experience. Joined a new company, tasked to clean the carpets. Since I started there was this disgusting line that ran from front door to kitchen. The cleaning crew had dragged a bag of trash across the entire office not realizing that it has stained the carpet. I guess at first it was white, but had turned almost black by the time I started. I immediately thought of McNevin because their customer service and professionalism was among the best I've seen. I walked in today, after my long weekend, and WOW. They did an excellent job on the entire office space, and that line -- completely gone. They did it over 2 days explaining how they were going to defeat this ugly mess. They succeeded! They offered the same GREAT customer service and professionalism. Raul is the best! We had a recommendation from one of our sister offices and McNevin Cleaning did not disappoint. They were professional, punctual and the results were marvelous. If you need any type of cleaning this is the place to call. Customer service was excellent! Nate was the first person I talked to and he was awesome. They accommodated me and made sure they took care of all the details. The smallest speck of dirt they took care of. I bought an old, scary dental office and everything about the place looked hopeless. I didn't even want to go into the office it was that depressing and scary. These people brought life to it. As a matter of fact, a dental rep came in and was very impressed. To get a compliment from her is a big deal but then again she probably wanted to get me to buy more stuff but that's another story. But honestly, these people are so nice and professional. They got the job done above and beyond! I am just so happy with them that if I could get my floors cleaned and polished everyday I just would. That's how happy I am with these people. Unfortunately, they wont be cleaning my floors everyday but I know for sure that I will be calling them to have them take care of my floors at least once a year. read more

I just want to add another 5 stars to their reviews. We have pet stains that have not come out with previous cleanings. We called on McNevin to see what they can do. From the moment I called, I spoke with Danielle Katches. She is so delightful to talk with and so professional. We scheduled an appointment for she and Bill Nicolay to check out the spots. They felt positively the spots would disappear. The cleaners came and Danielle stayed with them the whole time. She was a stickler for detail and made sure the job was correctly done. There was a follow up call to check in with us. I am writing this because I have never been so pleased with a cleaning service. It's too early to tell if the spots will return. If so, it won't be because of lack of quality on their part. McNevin is a bit pricier than other chain-type organizations. It's worth the extra $. You won't be disappointed. read more
