They said they could send someone out to look at the issue and I agreed. Moore's never told me that they'd charge me to have the technician come out and what the rate would have been. When I pressed the owner about not telling me up front, he told me it's his practice not to mention service call charges and labor charges unless the client asks and that I should have expected to pay. Just had Brandon of Ski Plumbing back to fix something else on my aging home…read more My bathtub was leaking and I was expecting I would have to take out a HELOC, but Brandon diagnosed it as not the disaster I feared and had it fixed in about two hours (including going for a needed part). As usual, he fixed something else about the tub that I hadn't requested, installing a very nice stopper system. (I was using a plastic stopper from Dollar Tree and the drain had rusted!) He also regrouted in a color that matched what I had, which wasn't white. Brandon is a large man and can handle almost any job on his own, so I don't have to pay $70 or more dollars an hour for a "helper" to stand around watching a plumber. He will also work odd hours if he is needed in an emergency. He had 10 years of experience working for one of the best and largest plumbing companies in Shreveport before he started Ski Plumbing five years ago. He's also a pleasure to talk with and works quickly and efficiently without making a huge mess. His prices are very reasonable, especially when compared to the going rates of the large companies. I rarely recommend any person or business, but I wholeheartedly recommend Brandon "Ski" Chmielewski of Ski Plumbing for both inside and outside plumbing jobs.

I was really surprised at the professionalism every step of the way. The lady that answered the phone was very kind and knowledgeable about their services and gave me a quote in advance at that time. She also scheduled a time to do it...not a window of time as is the usual for home service visits. And when your garage door won't move your car is either stuck inside or out, so they even offer same day service. Our cars were out so we took the appointment...but the lady called and offered an earlier one if we wanted it.... The service was done by a polite and professional young man (Brian) who took the time to explain the features of the system to me, even though they hadn't put the door in.
