Whole experience was sketchy. Large dude with no hair and glasses, was extremely disrespectful to my friend. He was so eager to make a sale, that when my friend said she wants to look around at other options first, his demeanor COMPLETELY changed.... First, he snapped. He questioned her on why.. and tried to guilt trip her that he had to convince a manager to let her get the car that he needed gone THAT day. Saying he could close the deal as if it was her loss. I always paid my car note on time for a year and half. Then I lost my job, and struggled for a while. I finally got a job, and paying them. I kept asking for a deferment and an extension to help me back on track and they keep refusing to assist me. I do this for a living and we have never denied any customers needing assistance. I've had my vehicle for a little over a year and it has been to MCMC'S service center 4 times in the last two months. My vehicle stopped on me again today and this will make the fifth time for servicing under the warranty. The car has stopped on me and my children all times, I've spent money on Ubers due to my vehicle being inoperable. Customer service advice I do not qualify for a Deferment to offset cost copays and Ubers. Service technician's have actually advised they do not know what is wrong with the vehicle even after sending it to the Nissan dealership. I purchased my vehicle March 20, 2025. Tierry was the salesperson who sold me the car. He stated that the car had been serviced before I got the car. April 18, 2025 my car start leaking oil and is underperforming. Service department determined the valve gasket cover needed to be replaced. I informed them that I don't have family or friends who can give me rides to work but thankfully it was Good Friday and I had the day off. I received the car back on April 21, 2025. Today, April 30, 2025 the check engine light comes on and now the thermostat is going out. I spoke back with Tierry and explained to him that I didn't feel safe in the car and that I wanted to swap it out for another car of the same price range, he transfers me to Mark Cochrane who is suppose to be the manager but on the phone he stated he was the finance manager. I stated to him that this is the second time an issue with the vehicle has occurred and I would like to get another car. Mark becomes rude and disrespectful on the phone stating that he will not give me another car and that it's not his problem. We will see if he has the same attitude when I come see him face to face. If I would have taken the time to look at reviews I would have never wasted my time going to MCMC auto. $1700 dollars wasted on a faulty car with too many mechanical issues. I will be taking legal action against the company. It could have been a simple fix. I've made my payments on time with the auto pay set up. They will no longer get a dime from me. When I purchased my vehicle from them. The vehicle was 16k. I was never told I had to pay 23k on a used "2015". Have I known that. I would have never purchase the vehicle.Which is a Violation to 15 U.S.C. § 1640(e) (1970). They would called me way before my payments were due asking when I'm going to make a payment when the payment was not yet due. I got tired of the call's and them harassing. The customer service rep is very rude. Last month I told them to come and picked up the vehicle. I did a volunteer repo. Today I get a noticed on my credit report they reported a miss payment. Not sure how's that when they have the vehicle. Which you all violated (15 code 1666b). You can not report a late payment on a consumer report without sending out a notice. I never once received a 21 day written notice from you all by mail regarding the late payment. I look over the reviews on Yelp and dealer rater all were bad. I wish I would have did more research with this company before purchasing a vehicle from them. So sad everyone has had some type of issue with this company. I wish you all stop reporting to the credit bureaus. You all have the car back and I have receipts.Does not make any sense. I would like this account closed and the loan from you all in - house finance closed. The contract I signed was breached. The salesman lied on the contract and said I put $200 down on the vehicle when I actually paid $750 and my debit card was charged $750. Which is a violation to (The Truth in Lending Act). I have my receipt for that and bank statement. I no longer have that debit card. You all violated my rights per the (U.S. code of 1662(b) which goes against the consumer rights. I would like my down payment back in the amount of $750. I have up to 3 years from purchased this vehicle to get my down payment back. By Texas laws no one is supposed to put down any down payment because the bank has already approved the loan. When the consumer give you all down payments. That money goes into you all pockets. You all can mail me back my $750 to the address you all have on file. I would rather work this out with you all before having to get a lawyer involved. read more

We had the car in a couple weeks after we bought it for a check engine light. It came on again. I work out of town so I took it to a mechanic here. I am attaching the diagnostic. They tried to contact the warranty people as did we and we either get put on hold or the mechanic said they hung up on them. So please let me know what you can do for us from here. I called today to go thru the same thing I go through every payment and scheduled it for tomorrow like always. Customer service seems to always have some sort of attitude when you call, so in turn mine begins. Car people there GREAT! Repairs department GREAT! Customer service department the worst I've delt with. Not only do they give attitude and sass. When you ask to speak to a supervisor they all converse before you call goes through and always defend their sub par coworkers. It will never be their fault. Go figure. We both have less than perfect credit so we started to think we'd end up being stuck buying a cheap craigslist car. I bought a 2013 Chevy Malibu from them. It had 124,000 miles on it when I got it . Within the first few months of having it I had to replace the upper and lower control arms on both sides. The transmission went out after a year of having it .IT was in the shop for two weeks and they still wanted me to pay a car payment then when I got it back the brake booster goes out . it starts to run hot and I had to purchase a radiator because they broke they metal lip on mines .The car just stopped running on me i took it to the shop for them to tell me that it had a massive oil leak and several other issues only to say that it needs a motor rather work with me they want me to pay 3000 dollars for them to replace a motor then harass me about a car paymeant . The manager is rude and a pompus asshole they really need to shut MCMC down !!!! The process of getting into a car was easy but the car its self was a LEMON! The first issue I had with it was a speed sensor, which they claimed was just dirty. The second issue was the electric window wouldn't roll back up, that I fixed on my own. The 3rd, 4th and 5th issues was the transmission went out during a vacation trip to the hill country. Had to have it towed, rented a car for the remainder of the trip and then was out a car during the time the transmission was being installed. Got the car back and less than a month the transmission went out again as well as that speed sensor that was "just dirty!" The service department is less than adequate. After they claimed to have fixed the sensor its wasn't less than 10 miles from the shop when all the same issues started again as well as the transmission. They do not answer your calls and will lie straight to your face. I have lost work because of them and spent over 12,000 dollars on a crap car and still owe 17,000. If your desperate for a car stay away from this place. There are scammers and don't have a moral bone in their bodies, from the sales people to the service guys! read more

Predatory lender with even worse customer service. Circumvented their procedures by calling to get release of my vehicle which i was behind in payments earlier then wanted to release it. They then behind my back called and cancelled the release option early and told me that they couldn't do it because the other company wouldn't allow it to happen. At this point then got mad when I cussed them out for doing that. Then instead of allowing to continue business the closed the account permanently and blocked all communication so i couldn't even set appointment to get my personal belonging out of the vehicle. I called to see of they could help and all they said is that I need to file unemployment. Bought a car from mcmc wasn't bad until the car wouldn't start. Payments was made in advance. The problem happen when trying to contact service department wouldn't answer the phone. On a date came out of restaurant from eating car would not start. Had it towed home. Monday called into work try to get car towed into shop just needed address can't get shop to answer all day that Monday lost a day of work. Finally someone answered at 5:20 they don't do night drops. So I had to reschedule tow truck till next day. Service department never called to let me know they received it and called to let me know what's wrong with my car.here it is Friday and I haven't heard from the service department. I haven't had a car in week. But I'll here from them when they want there money. The whole service department needs to be fired. Work for a real car lot this stuff wouldn't happen. Had a specific problem earlier this month (find my google review for details) which I corrected before MCMC even contacted me and I am being penalized for it. It's a high risk loan program for sure and I am glad they could work with me but seriously, it's tactics like this that make it hard for people to recover their credit score. Kinda bummed. We had NO CREDIT when we needed a car! We went to Mike Carlson Motor Company and drove out with a used car within two days! We had to pay a 1,000$ deposit and were offered low payments. We dealt with an older gentlemen who found a car that fit our needs. As for whether or not they report to the credit bureau, I know for a FACT that they absolutely do! I relocated to Houston, was in a car accident only way I can get my car repaired is by driving back to Dallas. That is what I was told when I purchased the car.
