Some four years ago we were referred to the owner of this business for our kitchen and bathrooms…read morecountertops. Great job done. Last year, we moved and redo our kitchen and again called the owner and gave them our business for the counters. This time we were somewhat concerned about delays in returning phone calls but it was not a big deal. The day of installing the countertops, the workers informed us that the kitchen counter broke in two pieces during transportation from the shop to our house. The owner reacted very upset and told us that anyway it was not supposed to be one piece. Shame on us, we were very tired, wanted to finish the remodeling, accepted the broken piece and paid the full price. The seam on the broken piece was terribly done and very noticeable. Last June, we called the owner again to quote a large counter for the last bathroom we were working on and some other pieces (yes, shame on us). It was August 15th and we have not moved from a quote to doing the job. Impossible to get phone calls returned and answered. To this day, we have not heard from him since mid August. Well, we found a great contractor, who did a beautiful job at a great price, great communication and customer service and it was done in a week from start to finish. This contractor also repaired the crack on our kitchen countertop in a way that it is easier for us to live with it. We went above and beyond to give Stone Concepts business. At least we could have had a phone call saying that you were not interested in doing this job rather than stringing us alone whenever we happened to get you on the phone.
