If you are wanting someone who sees you within 5 minutes of walking in the door, spends 5 minutes with you and writes you a prescription, you may not be a good fit for this practice. Dr. Perijoc spends time with you, asks a lot of questions and runs tests to determine what going on with you. She writes prescriptions when needed, but she also addresses prevention and suggests supplements to keep you from needing prescriptions. Her knowledge is extensive and she works hard to ensure that you are not put into a box as many providers are forced to do when they have to see so many patients per day to be able to actually make a living. But if you are looking for a quality provider, she is the best we have ever seen. She is careful with your health and works to not over or under treat any condition. I am glad we finally slowed down enough to put our health and that of our kids first. We all see her and all are healthier for it!

I replaced my physician of 17 years with this guy MARKUS.. Man I should have done it a long time ago...Been with him 3 years now. Light hearted, No BS, straight shooter and a complete realist about treatments and long term health options. I think I appreciate most his candor and honesty. And, his poignant lightheartedness. I cant say I love to see doctors, but I can say I am pretty happy to see him. He doesnt seem to play the games of doctors playing things "safe" and following the insurance games on treatment, and trying things that dont work and waste valuable time.. I always feel like he is a experienced service that serves me and not his office and staff like many others I have encountered. Im willing to say that Ill bet he is this way with everyone. While he does make me feel important every time I visit, I never ever feel like he has 85 patients a day and I am in veterinary clinic. I have seen more than 5 different doctors in the past couple years, but no one could control my high blood pressure. My last doctor even prescribed me 6 different pills to take everyday, but my top blood pressure number still wouldn't go down below 160. And I've had to learn to live with this headache and stiff neck. After I moved to Dallas several months ago, I started an Internet search to find a "Board Certified Internal Medicine" doctor, which is a habit I learned from my personal experience dealing with quacks. You would be surprised to find out how many MDs and DOs out there are not certified. Anyway, long story short, one of my co-workers recommended him, Internet reviews and board certification checked out, and even though it's a long drive from where I live, I decided to give him a try. That was couple months ago, and now my blood pressure is normal with only 1pill a day ! He found out that I have blockages in the kidney artery, referred me to a surgeon who put a stent, and my blood pressure has significantly improved since. Days after the stent was put in, I even had low blood pressure (who would have thought that I'd have "low" blood pressure after all these years...) hence, he stopped all my medicine except for one. My headaches and neck stiffness are gone and I feel healthy, really satisfied with him, hence writing this review. And I cannot help but wondering how all the other doctors couldn't figure this out when he did it on my 2nd visit.
