I was super intrigued by the swing analyzer computer they have in the back (with space for two players at a time) and the gentleman kindly gave me his time and allowed me to take a couple swings since I said I was new to golf. He was able to give me some pointers which improved my swing immediately. I didn't get to run the numbers on the computer because I'm just starting out and my swing isn't consistent enough to truly analyze. But just being able to try it and get some pointers made my day. The shop isn't very large, not a massive place like Golf Town, but it has all that a player would need even down to socks! During this visit, the staff mentioned the sale in January, where there is 40% off grips if we're not in a hurry to change. The grip service charge is $5 per club for grips not purchased from Golf Town and $3 if they are. There's a lack of inventory of grips / colours available in store but you get a general feel of them. For purchasing you're better off buying online if you know what you want. We ended up buying a mens pair of navy shorts because we spotted a pair in the right size (32) and they were on sale. We also picked up a new golf glove, which is also on sale. I did some window shopping and looked at the pretty shiny golf clubs... They are handmade and have gold in them? The associate working there also told us there's a $60,000 golf set locked up... He said people who buy those don't use them for the course. What a flex. I recommend this and other Golf Town stores to buy all your Golf needs conveniently in one spot. While I do like to hunt for deals for Golf apparel, the options are limited or non-existent for women in general sporting goods stores and other outlet stores. Over here, there is an excellent selection of apparel, especially for men. I like the patterned and fun shirts and the driver headcovers.

Wow, what an upgrade this outdoor driving range has gotten this season. TopTracer machines are at…read moreeach station in the middle section, and when you download the app and create a profile, you can track your distance of your ball for free. Only during warm up or Top Tracer 30 option, will they track your distance/performance in the history on the app to give you insights. You can even use it to play a game or use targets to simulate holes from different golf courses. It doesn't record my longest shot distance when I played a simulated hole from a golf course. It would instead record the distance to the pin. The mats on the right or left side don't have these machines. This place is still busy as ever even on a weekday night. We were able to score a free basket by collecting points. It makes practicing so much more fun! I went through my basket quickly playing this, and it motivated me to get better. Now this game changer solidifies this place as my favourite driving range in the city. There is a putting area to practice and an area for without a pin for chipping perhaps. However, there's sometimes a class going on there. I've heard the owner can be pretty harsh, but I have yet to interact with him and have been here many times without hiccups. He has left us alone every time we came here to practice. This driving range and another near the airport are the only ones in the GTA that use these TopTracer machines so it'll get us coming back for sure.

Just avoid most of the older guys in the golf carts and you'll be fine.

You book your Bay online and pay for your "tee time" there. When you arrive you access the facility with a CloudKey that is on your phone to unlock the front door. From there, everything is fully automated and you can practice your best swings! The best part of this is that you know someone is always watching online through the cameras of the facility, since there has been a couple of times where we have received messages to please do not move any benches or chairs around. Safety first! The facility is clean and nicely ventilated which is great. Other patrons that are at their bays are usually very quiet and respectful as well. This location is opened 24 hours so if you're feeling for a round of golf at 3AM - you know where to go!
