I bought a used 2025 Corvette Z06 on March 7, 2026. The sale price was decent at $101,888.00. I traveled 4.5 hours from Tulsa to buy the car and had been pre-approved for financing. I wired the dealer $10k days before. I told my sales guy I needed to be home by 4:30 because I am in a band and was playing that evening. 1- I was stuck arguing about extended warranties and maintenance plans that I would never use and the car was under full factory bumper to bumper warranty. I usually only keep my cars for a year or maybe 2 tops. Over an hour debating with Gibert Martinez, the finance guy would not do a bare bones contract. I did plan on refinancing when I got home to get a 3.49% APR at my credit union. So, finally at around 12:30 said fine, I'll just cancel the warranty and maintenance when I get home. I HAD TO GO to be home in time. (I had to speed the whole way home and was still 1 hour late because we ran into 2 plus hours of bad weather.) 2- When I received my contract there was an additional paint and interior warranty for $1349.00 which btw was never applied. Sunday, I rinsed the car off and the water did not bead up at all. NO paint protection wax or silicone or ceramic coating was applied to my car. I took the car that week to a reputable detail shop and they did checks on the car. It showed no wax or any paint protection on the car was ever applied. ZAKTEK is a interior and exterior protection "warranty" that in non- refundable and also never applied. 3- The contract numbers do NOT add up. OKlahoma sales tax $4647.78, Ext. Warranty $2150.41 (although contract states $2205) Maintenance agreement $960.00, Doc fee $225, Government license fee $800 (?), Etag $10, dealer inventory tax $155.41, price of car (listed at $101,888) add all up equals $110,836.60, plus $10,000 down should be $100,836.60 financed. But the contract says $103,535.17 financed. That's a $2698.57 discrepancy. Remember point 2? the $1349 for the non applied ZAKTEK? guess what $1349 x 2 comes to? $2698. Not only did they charge me for the paint protection that was never applied but they charged me twice. but the $1349 was not listed on the financed break down but I do have the contract in my paper work.... Very disappointing experience at GMC McKinney. My vehicle sat there for an entire week, and I received poor communication and inaccurate information the whole time. My advisor, Tommy, repeatedly said he would follow up but never did, and I was given incorrect details about a recall and my warranty coverage, even though I have an active Platinum Elite plan. It was frustrating having to constantly seek updates myself, and to make matters worse, Tommy left without ensuring I was taken care of. I will say Brycen stepped in at the end and was extremely helpful and professional. He provided the level of service that should have been given from the start, and I truly appreciated his help. We purchased a used 2020 Ford Expedition from McKinney Buick GMC and also paid separately for a 1-year powertrain warranty/service contract. We paid cash for the vehicle, signed paperwork, and were told the vehicle would go through the shop and be detailed before pickup. When we picked it up, it was barely cleaned, and shortly after purchase we began having concerns about the vehicle and warranty process. The biggest issue has been the complete lack of communication and professionalism from the dealership. Without our approval or agreement, the dealership apparently decided to cancel the warranty we legally purchased and is now mailing us a refund check instead of honoring the contract. At no point did we authorize cancellation of the warranty, and no one properly communicated this decision to us beforehand. We have repeatedly tried to get answers and clarity, but instead of transparency and customer service, we've been ignored and left to figure things out ourselves. Regardless of whether the vehicle was sold "as is," the separately purchased warranty was still a binding agreement that we paid for in good faith. The way this situation has been handled has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Customers deserve honest communication, accountability, and respect after making a major purchase. I own a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax that I use for real towing and heavy work. During a routine oil change at McKinney Buick GMC, I received an inspection report through the Xtime system saying "1 item failed: Needs immediate attention." The "failed" item was a $220 EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) system cleaning. Here is the problem. EFI cleaning is not a GM-required maintenance item. It is not part of the Duramax service schedule, it cannot "fail," and there is no way to diagnose the need for it during a basic oil change. The failure they flagged was simply not real. When I called the Service Manager to ask about it, he gave explanations that were technically impossible, including telling me you can "physically see carbon deposits coming out of the tailpipes" to justify the service. None of this is supported by GM documentation. I later spoke with the Fixed Operations Director. On a recorded call, he admitted that EFI cleaning is not GM-required, should not have been marked as a failed item, should not have been labeled "needs immediate attention," and should not have been recommended at 15,000 miles. He also acknowledged the way it was presented to me was incorrect. This was not an isolated incident. On a previous visit, they tried to sell me an oil "conditioner" that GM does not require or recommend. After seeing this pattern, I cannot trust them with major repairs on a $90,000 truck. If they are willing to misrepresent something this small, I do not want to find out how they handle bigger jobs. I have already moved all future service to another dealership and submitted a formal complaint to GM Corporate. My girlfriend left her 2024 GMC Terrain at McKinney Buick GMC for transmission repairs, and what followed was extremely concerning. Over multiple visits, the dealership misdiagnosed an active transmission leak four separate times, failing to properly identify or fix the issue. While the vehicle was still in their care for these transmission problems, it was taken without authorization and involved in a major accident. The vehicle was being driven late at night by a 16-year-old minor, with a McKinney Buick GMC service advisor as the passenger. The car was used for a personal errand unrelated to servicing or testing. As a result, the vehicle was damaged, and my girlfriend was forced to deal with insurance claims, police reports, and ongoing stress--none of which should happen when a car is left with a dealership for repairs. This situation reflects a serious lack of professionalism and responsibility, from repeated misdiagnoses to misuse of a customer's vehicle. Before I left work early to go look at the truck, I called the salesperson again to see if the truck was still available. He told me yes. Since then my husband & I traded for a lower payment and I now drive a 2021 GMC Acadia Denali. We have been pleased with our service here from the very beginning. I can see by the other reviews I am not alone here. We asked for the plugs and fluids to be checked for a rough idle. Specifically said ignore the emissions code that had been there for years. In short, we got an estimate for $7,000 in miscellaneous nonsense. We selected and signed off on an estimate for a timing belt and air filter only for $415. When we arrived to pick up they charged $633. A diagnostic fee I never signed for nor asked for was added on. Condescending service advisor and manager. We purchased a used vehicle on 4/4/25. We were told if went through a rigorous inspection process and reconditioning. Less than two weeks of ownership, we discovered major issues with the motor mounts and the control arms that hold the engine in place. Was looking to buy a used car from here. Don't live in the area and was working with a salesman (Angel) and a sales manager (Dillon) remotely on a deal to make sure it was worth the drive. After a couple of days and a lot of back and forth texts, we came to a compromise and a deal was made that worked for both sides. I drove all the way up to McKinney to sign the papers and drive the new car home, but after signing the preliminary papers, and moving on to the finance department to finalize the deal; the manager came back and said that he could not honor the deal anymore. He told me that he was going to have to raise the APR by more than 2 percentage points which would obviously raise my monthly payment by more than I could afford. Purchased a 2025 2500 sierra Denali ultimate from this dealer end of may 2025. The day I purchased it I was made aware to bring it back that next day to align it and take care of a couple of things. I drove it one day to find out that the vehicle had radio issues , major alignments issues and a loud steering column noise that is very clear when steering left or right from the steering wheel column . I went back to have the service dept take care of this issues as i excepted them to be able to. After multiple attempts to the service dept. I was told there are no known issues and the couldn't replicate those issues reported . I was even told by one of their service floor managers "to take my truck back where I bought it from" knowing that I had purchased it from The same dealership. That showed me the low level of service this dealership has overall. My truck has been at the service dept for at least 4 months now, I HAVE TO CALL THEM to get status updates and when I do, they tell me to go test drive it as issues have been repaired ! I go to test drive and the issues are worse now , same noise , Bluetooth does not even connect to my phone or anyone's phone to that matter, alignment will even pull to the next lane now. Service director was in shock when he was roam the vehicle was ready and I test drove it with him and he was the one to tell me nicely to keep the truck with him again to make sure now GM is aware of it and that a repurchase claim to be issued at this point as they can't repair it ! The GM will never call to address this issue , the dealer owner will never reply to any call or email sent regarding this issue ! I have had my truck serviced at this dealership for several years. Unfortunately, today was not a good experience with the service manager, Rob. Very disorganized and not completely sure of what is going on in his service department. Even though he took my order, he claimed I lied because "he never talk to me at all today." However, his name is on my order and receipt because he did take it, and all of the documentation that I needed them to complete. They didn't complete the work requested, because he said I never made it clear even though the documentation needed for me was provided back to me, incomplete,when I checked out. I am guessing I'm not the only one who is experiencing this. This is the second time I've had incomplete service performed at this dealership. However, at least last time they were courteous about the situation. There are many dealerships, repair shops, and options of where to get service performed, and typically the difference is quality of service and reputation of the service team. This dealership took a big notch down with me today based on what I just experienced. Genuine concern. I've seen Rob tell the techs to do a service for free because a lady was caring for a family member and simply did not have the funds. They know I'll do whatever service they recommend. But, they always advise me what is truly necessary and what can wait. Very often, they say a GM recommended service can wait or suggest a plan to make the service efficient by doing it when something else is done. I have never brought my Denali in that they did not leave money on the table. These men tell the truth. Ask for Chris Elliot. He is no nonsense and not a salesman. He shoots straight and is super respectful. He treated me like a valued customer again today. He gave first-class service with attention to detail and complete focus on what was best for me. He voluntarily held the dealership accountable when a mistake was made. He went above and beyond. Thanks Chris! On June 18, I followed up by email with Michelle Griffin, your Customer Relations Director, after receiving her message asking whether I was "completely satisfied" with my experience. I've made every effort to resolve this directly and respectfully. However, the PPF was included in the price I financed, and I am now paying interest on a product I never received. Had this missing item been disclosed at the time of delivery, I could have made an informed decision -- but I was not given that opportunity. I am therefore requesting a full refund for the uninstalled PPF. I respectfully do not accept post-sale installation as an adequate resolution. I emailed the General Manager, David Kelley, on June 23, 2025. I want to be clear that this message represents my final effort to resolve this matter directly. If the refund is again declined, I will escalate my concern to other appropriate consumer protection channels. My wife and I bought a car from Mckinney Buick GMC. On the day we bought the car we had a poor experience. But it was par for the course with buying a used car. We probably overpaid for the car and received to little for our trade in. That alone would not cause me to be so upset. Unfortunately the bad times were just getting started. I found that they added an extended warranty that I did not want. This warranty cost thousands of dollars. They tricked my wife and I by showing us one set of numbers on a printed piece of paper and then telling us where to e-sign. My wife and I wrongly assumed that what was on the computer matched what we were seeing on the printed page. A few day after purchasing the car I went to see the loan online. When I saw the amount of the loan was over $32,000 my wife and I were shocked. We thought it was going to be less than $24,000. I called and spoke to the finance person and they acted like I should have known I was buying the warrant. I said "you told me that if I switch from my prep approved loan from Bank of America at 8.79% interest to your lender EECU you would get me to 6.26% interest. You never said I would be paying for a warranty if I made the switch." I was approved for up to a $25,000 with Bank of America. So they could never have gotten me up to a $32,000 loan if they hand not gotten me to switch. He replied to me by saying, "I usually find a moment to mention that the warranty is not free." I was shocked and told him to remove it. He said he would and that it would be reflected in a few days. A few days later it was not reflected so I called back in and spoke to someone else that said it would take up to 8 weeks to get this done. 8 weeks later they had not done anything. They said I need to call around and cancel everything on my own. In addition to all this they put someone else's personal information on my account. This is a huge breach of privacy for both myself and the person who information they put on my documents. read more

Took a preapproval letter from cars.com along with all documents requested. The offer was $1500 down and $350 a month from a lender that I had used before and paid off a car. I drove over an hour to the dealership. They took the paperwork from me and insisted that I use their financing company. Another hour later they tell me they want $5000 and $499 a month. Stay away from this dealership. I never leave bad reviews publicly, but this experience was a nightmare. First, Patrick V. in financing flat out lied to us that all of the warranties are refundable. The Exterior Care Warranty was NOT refundable. We verbally verified with Patrick several times that all of the warranties were refundable and he assured us they all were. That was a lie. When we tried to reach out to the dealership to remedy this, they said "It's not refundable" and did nothing to rectify Patrick's lie. I see in other reviews here he has done this also to other people. Furthermore, we purchased our Yukon XL Denali used, (and the salesman was wonderful by the way), and as we drove off the lot we heard grinding/moaning noises indicating a problem with the rear differential. We immediately returned to the dealership and upon investigation, yes, the rear differential was failing and (after much painful back and forth and a standoff) they ultimately took responsibility and said they'd make it right. However, the service department refused to order a new part saying their protocol specified a fluid flush first. We live out of state and could not keep traveling back for repairs. They would not budge on the protocol of a flush first. So we got in writing that if the flush did not fix the noises they would install a new rear differential. The fluid was on back-order at the time and we were put on the waitlist. Ultimately, with no updates after 2 weeks, we ourselves called around and found the fluid available at a neighboring GMC dealership to McKinney and arranged for that fluid to be used for our car. The McKinney service department called us after the flush and told us the car was "fixed and ready for pick-up". We drove from out of state to pick up the car only to find the issue was NOT fixed, the sound was still present. They wasted our trip when even their own service paperwork listed the sound was still present. We pulled out our "WE OWE YOU OWE" document to have the rear differential part ordered. The service manager refused to honor it but his director upheld it. We were put on a new wait list for the back-ordered part. (This could have been expedited if they'd skipped the flush and not insisted on a useless protocol procedure.) The part was finally shipped 6 weeks later, only to be "lost" in transit. We were dropped to the bottom of the back-order list AGAIN and continued to wait. I'd called GMC Customer Care for help but found out, after back and forth with them for 6 weeks, the wrong department took my case and ultimately said they could not help me. And, because the wrong department took our case, it used up our allotted timeline of getting help through Customer Care. After 3 months of paying interest, insurance and car payments on a car we never took home, the part finally arrived and the car was repaired. When we got the car home finally, our local mechanic found the rear struts had been leaking for quite some time and were badly in need of being replaced. This was NOT disclosed at the point of sale and should have been obvious at their inspection for resale when they are listing the condition. There are a lot more things that happened along this 3 month nightmare with McKinney Buick GMC, but my main complaint is being lied to about the warranty's refundability, the car's mechanical integrity not being assessed or disclosed properly, and the absolute headache of working with any management who would shuffle us to other departments and say it wasn't "their problem", and no one using common sense to adapt protocol steps to a more timely resolution when the customer lives out of state. Ultimately our car was out-of-service for 3 months since the time of purchase. We were even told at one point by management we needed to "take personal responsibility for buying a high mileage vehicle". The vehicle made the noises as we were driving off the lot, how is this ever okay to say to a customer? We will NEVER return to this dealership and strongly recommend against using them for purchasing or service. read more

Despite being part of Warren Buffet's auto sub, this is the most unscrupulous dealer I've encountered in recent time. I originally inquired about "in-transit" Yukons and was sent a video with the cars sitting on their lot, even though it did not look like their retail lot. After about a week of seeing the Yukons on their site, I inquired again and was told by the Internet Director that the vehicles were available and invited to come by. I drove nearly and hour and guess what the first thing the sales associate at the door said? The particular vehicles have been sold. I asked since last night when I last inquired? He said they have been sold. In other words, the inventory online both at their site and GMC is fake. So nearly 2 hours of my life and a few gallons of gas wasted. I should report them to the state, FTC, etc. for false advertising. read more

I am appalled by a recent experience with your service department. My mom had arranged for her vehicle to be towed to the dealership and spoke with Raul to let him know. She followed up once the car was on its way with Raul who promised to keep an eye out for it. On Monday, she called to check on the status of her vehicle and Raul was off, so she spoke with Robert who was less than helpful, so she escalated the issue to General Manager John, who assured her he would handle it and even said he'd get the part himself if needed. At no point did anyone acknowledge that the vehicle hadn't arrived. Tuesday, my mom received a call telling her they didn't have her car or the keys. Imagine how distressing that was for my elderly mother! She was getting the runaround, so I called to speak with John to try and seek clarity. To my shock, he was incredibly unprofessional. He called the tow company "total assholes," though it seems they might not be the ones that are. When I asked him questions, he said he was getting frustrated, accused me of treating the situation like a "federal case," and even referred to me as "the congress." When I asked who he reported to, he refused to answer, sitting quietly before sarcastically replying, "I report to a lot of people... do you want every single name and email?" This level of unprofessionalism is exactly why the negative stereotypes about car salesmen and managers persist. My mom would rather drive her car to another city than return and deal with the level of unprofessionalism she experienced. Judging by other reviews, it seems we're not the only ones who feel this way. Way to go, John. I hope you felt better after taking your frustrations out on a customer over the phone, rather than being respectful and calm while trying to provide helpful solutions to rectify the situation. Stay Classy! That's totally a manager that I would want running my business. read more

Posting this as an eating crow moment. I have been going through a rough time in my personal life lately. Then I found my dream car listed, and it was within the budget of a hobby car I had already been looking for. So I got very excited. So much so that I forgot to act with grace and didnt conduct myself fairly. I'm no longer interested in a transaction for this particular car because the well's been poisoned, but I'm still looking. If they have a car you like, I would recommend them. I hope that the dealership and all the people I interacted with can accept my apology. read more
