There is not enough room to explain why this spacious, well built and elegant place (the biggest…read moremall in Ireland) is so epic and enjoyable. The exterior and interior architecture and decor, the multitude of different shops of all kinds, the large go to chains, the everything under 1 roof vibe, the assortment of restaurants and cafes, the water fountain performances outside with even more to see and do including a huge beautiful movie cinema right next to a McDonald's and at least 15 other food choices, a pub and a buffet.... You are missing nothing here. This place is for everyone, it's not for rich people or mall rats like complainers say. It is spacious and has a huge indoor parking lot built better than most and yes there are maps. This place was done so well it's hard to complain anything and keep a straight face. Dundrum is so fun, elegant and beautiful. It's a beautiful weekly must. It is missing nothing. Ps Go here on Christmas and it's a wonderland too.

A very very poor centre based on my recent experience. I am a disabled driver and was parked in one…read moreof their so called disabled parking spaces which I have discovered are not fit for purpose. My car was damaged in their car park because of the centre's very outdated standards. They refused to pay for the damage caused - their excuse: the place was built in 2005 before the current standards were in place. An uncaring, mean, unfair management with no sense of social responsibility to their disabled customers whatsoever. Appalling! Reflects really badly on the owners of the centre. I made a complaint to the UK owners about my treatment there but they haven't even bothered to respond. Beware parking there. Won't be shopping there again.

Rathfarnham shopping centre is a smaller shopping centre than Nutgrove, which is only down the…read moreroad. But it is really handy and great for the local people as it really does have everything you could need on a day to day basis. It has men and women's and children's dedicated shops like Penney's. Ashley Reeves and Kids Zone. It has a hairdressers in the form of Peter Marks, book store, bank, building society, key cutters, shoe repair, chapel, deli, health food store and a really big and good Tesco's. There is lots and lots of parking spaces and a recycle bank including a bin recycling clothes.

The first floor looks more like a storage floor from the ouside. But do not be fooled, there are…read moresome cool shops upstair too (hair dressers, barber, school supply centre, clinic, book store, opticians, interior/exterior designer, restaurant, music shop, gift shop, travel agency, chapel, swiss deli). There's no lift or moving stairs, so for mums with buggies or wheelchair bound people this shopping centre isn't very friendly. The ground floor is ok, you'll find a few clothes shops there, shoe shop, butchers, bank(s), news agent, sports shop, shoe repair/key smith, jewellery, hardware/gardening shop, big grocery store. And a public toilet, for which you'll pay 20¢... Parking space is available but it is a disaster, especially during the festive seasons when this place runs out of parking space quickly. If you're not driving a car, you can use buses No 15, 15B, 65(B) and 49. All of their stops are in a convenient walking distance from the shopping centre. All and all, it's a good place for common day-to-day shopping. Not so good for those unable to walk up the stairs or with buggies. Prices vary depending on the shop you visit. Car park is free for four hours, monitored by a hired car park management company.
