He came out & said I needed the front done right away, but the back was in good shape I might get 7-8 yrs still. They're roofing company is Tri-State Roofing! I came home around lunchtime after they tore off the old roof and noticed there were black marks all over the one side of my house. After further inspection I noticed four areas around the house are completely covered with these marks as well as three ripped screens. Come to find out, they did not tarp off and protect the house from debris and while ripping the shingles off, the shingles were boomeranging back and hitting the house, leaving globs of tar on my stucco. I mentioned this to Bud and he apologized and assured me that they would come off with Spray Nine and a bristle brush. Sure enough that wasn't the case. In fact, the chemicals they sprayed to try and clean it just left big discolorations on top of it. They then send a worker to chip off all of the spots with a chisel only to make it worse and leave white spots from the old stucco before we painted it about 5 years ago. I immediately call Bud and send him pictures. He agrees that the only way to fix it is to paint it. That was the only solution! You can't color match stucco that the sun has been beating on for atleast 5 years to try touch it up. I get a price from a painter for over $5k which is when they send over the painter they use who quotes it even higher than the other company that quoted me. Based on the quote I reach out and tell them that to power wash, prep and paint one coat(based on their painters quote)it would cost them $3k and that I would pay for the second coat. They proceed to tell me that for them to paint it themselves it would only cost around $1200 and that's all they were willing to offer me. My house looks like shit! I never planned on painting my house! And now I'm supposed to pay over $4k out of pocket because they screwed up my house?? Don't think so! I'm now in a position where I have to file a small claims case against them to get my money back because they're no longer taking my calls or responding to text messages! STEER CLEAR OF THESE GUYS!!!
