$150 waste of money for diagnostic. When we called this morning to make an appointment we…read morespecifically asked if they work on the oil heaters in levittown knowing that its a niche thing. The woman on the phone assured us that they do. The first thing the hvac gentlemen said is "we don't really work on these oil heaters". When i said to him that we specifically asked the woman about it he told us "she's just dispatch". We were told that the soot needed to be cleaned(over $2700), they may need to remove the wall to do it which would cost more, and they don't replace the wall if they take it down. Then after all of that, they would be able to diagnose what is actually wrong with the heater, if its something more than a cleaning. If you live in Levittown, don't walk...run! You might as well throw your $150 in a hole and call someone else. Benjamin Franklin came out and hour later and fixed it for $417.

As in others' comments, he was here the next day. He expertly diagnosed the problem: the motor for the fan needed replacement as the bearings were shot. He had the new parts the next day, he pulled out the old parts, took them back to his shop, and came back in the afternoon for the repair. Terrific service! He also went over both AC units, noted a rusted capacitor on one unit. I'll be cleaning both units, as recommended, and he'll be back to service both. He handled the service request very promptly. The value was clear. Long story short, our experience with Nate can only be described as EXCELLENT! Going forward, he's our man for HVAC. John & Ellen G

He also looked at our other shower to see if our leak there was a plumbing or tile issue (it was the latter). We opted to upgrade our fixture and Barry had us scheduled for the following week. We're very happy owners of a working shower! Friendly, professional, and great work - we will be calling Barner Murphy for any future plumbing needs.

I contacted several other plumbing companies and no one even came close to the professionalism that I received from Daniels Plumbing. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable and honest. Trust me, save yourself the time and just call them first!

Converted my garage into a bedroom and hired EMCO Tech to install a Carrier Infinity minisplit…read more They did an excellent job. They came three separate times. First visit they ran all the wiring, lines and drain before drywall -- and didn't even take a deposit. Second time they installed both units and protected the indoor unit with plastic and cardboard so the painters wouldn't damage it. They took half the payment then. Final visit, after painting was done, they finished everything, started the system up, and I paid the rest. The same two guys -- Leo and Alex -- did all three visits. They were super professional and respectful. They always parked on the street instead of my driveway, wore shoe covers, and were very careful with my dog. I even bought them lunch twice because they were that nice. Everything turned out great. The room looks beautiful and the system works perfectly. Highly recommend EMCO Tech.

Our boiler broke down in March 2016. We contacted several companies for quotes. EMCO Tech came in…read morewith the lowest price--nearly half the quote from another, well-reviewed local company. I was skeptical. Also, I was wary of the one-star reviews below. When I spoke to the company's owner, Serge, he offered an honest assessment of the negative reviews, admitting growing pains and lessons learned. I trusted him. He also offered all the relevant details about the boiler installation, including the specific make and model of the boiler. After researching the specific boiler, I felt confident choosing EMCO for the installation. The team installed the boiler within a week over two days. They returned several times to make sure the installation was a success. As most experts will tell you: A new boiler will inevitably have an issue or two. Our boiler had no real issues, and we've been happy since installation. Everything works great. I'm writing the review now because I've just called EMCO Tech for yearly cleaning/servicing (which was, again, half the price of other companies). I always tell myself: I should write a review for that company (when they're good). So now I'm writing a review! Thanks, EMCO Tech.

I value that they were honest, fair and prices are reasonable. They called to let me know when they were on there way and they were on time. The first time i used them i had a really bad clog in my kitchen drain, the clog was so bad it had to be removed from the pipe in the basement. They were able to remove the clog and backed their work with a 30 day guarantee. That gave me great peace of mind. The second time i used them was for a problem i was having with my stack pipe. I was fortunate to not need the entire stack replaced. The cap to the stack was decayed and so they were able to replace it. Just a note that they don't cover their shoes/boots so if you don't wear shoes/boots in your home or your concerned that they might track debris and etc. you might want to provide them with shoe covers. They get the job done right but they don't really clean up the work area. So be aware that the job will get done right, but you might need to go behind them and clean up the area they were working in. Overall a solid experience.
