Not sure whether she was not comfortable working with children, or children with special needs but we are definitely not satisfied with the care provided. We were told that her 6 year old hearing aids were not good enough anymore and we were talked into having to purchase another pair for more than $5500. And despite having to pay for the new aids out of pocket (they did not accept our insurance) we still had to struggle to have her attempt to adjust the levels. After 15 months of frustration and payments we opted to take our business elsewhere. We were floored with the difference in reception, quality of care, concern and professionalism displayed by our new choice. Goodbye East End Hearing, hello Island Better Hearing in Melville.

My Mother's hearing had gotten worse. The TV volume was all the way at it highest point on the…read moreremote, and mom still had trouble hearing the TV. I knew something had to be done. I had seen several commercials in regards to Ear Works Audiology. So I called one of their locations in Port Jefferson Station. I made an appointment for mom. We were greeted by the lovely receptionist named Cathy. She had a pleasant smile and was very nice. Then we met Dr. Jennifer. She is amazing. She is warm, kind, great big smile, and professional. She answered all of our questions, and we felt very at ease. The day mom received her hearing aids from Ear Works Audiology, Mom's reaction was that of a child for the first time hearing. That was emotional for me. Mom kept on saying with such excitement in her voice, I can hear. I knew I had made the right decision to bring Mom to Ear Works Audiology. When we left the building Mom said, I can hear the cars on the highway. I can hear the wind. The real test is when we got home. Mom turned on the TV, and said to me why is the TV so loud? She never realized how loud it was. Dr. Jennifer and Cathy have been totally unbelievable with their compassion, understanding, and patience with Mom. I was the one that bought from TV commercials the inexpensive hearing aids only to throw them in the garbage, and waste money. You will not be sorry if you go to Ear Works Audiology. They have several locations but my favorite is Port Jefferson Station with Dr. Jennifer and Receptionist Cathy who are amazing women. We are totally satisfied, and entrust our trust to Ear Works Audiology. Very satisfied customer. Thank you. Patrick Perri
