Walker's Plumbing - Broken well pump pipe

Walker's Plumbing

Walker's Plumbing is who you call when when you are in need of professional, efficient, and quality…read moreplumbing work done! Mike Walker is a lifesaver! I was moving into my home from the west coast, with the movers bringing hundreds of boxes into the home. There is a area in the corner of the garage where half inch pvc piping is protruding from the sheet rock for a future garage sink. A box was pushed up onto one of the pipes and it cracked off inside the wall. Water was pouring into the garage at a high rate. I was able to turn off the water to the home, but now, on moving day, we were left with the prospect of spending the night in a hotel since it was 3:30 pm, and we had no idea who to call, especially at this late time in the day. I starting cold calling area plumbers for help. 3 or 4 calls later, and either no answer, or a "we can get someone to you tomorrow sometime", I called Mike at Walker's Plumbing. He answered, he heard the desperation in my voice, and even though it was now 4 pm, and he was over an hour away, he tells me not to worry and he will make his way to me right away. A little over two hours later my cracked water pipe was perfectly repaired, and at a very reasonable cost. Mike has a wonderfully positive attitude. Before he left, he even set me up with a sheet rock repair person. A big THANK YOU to Mike at Walker's Plumbing. Count me as a devoted customer for future plumbing needs!

Michael in particular took the time to honestly evaluate a couple work items that ended up being unnecessary. Looking forward to working with Walker's Plumbing again for our next job.

I've worked both residential and commercial equipment for 13 years and seen and serviced dozens of brands and systems including heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, mini splits. Also specialize in duct cleaning, filtration, humidification, and air purification. I can service and install water heaters as well. I've worked for good companies that take care of their customers by offering regular maintenance and honest work and bad companies that just want to upsell you and raid your wallet. I'm a technician first. Each call I go to I find the problem(s). Then offer solutions to repair the problem. At a fair price. Most higher end companies look at your system not only to find the problem but see other "possibilities" that could harm your system in the future. Although for some older systems this may be true but most of the time, they are just trying to scare you into buying things you don't need. They are trained to use "scare" tactics into frightening you to go with their overpriced equipment and hourly rate. I was trained to take care of customers the way I want to be taken care of when I need service. Not just to sell. You keep customers through honesty and integrity.

Unfortunately, my regular plumber was on vacation when we had a small ceiling leak, so I had to contact S.J. Conner & Sons for the first time. We have a surveillance camera to monitor activities on our premises. Recently, an elderly person spent two and a half hours at our restaurant, while a young man spent only 45 minutes. However, we received two invoices from S.J. Conner & Sons, charging us $920 for the small leak they fixed. I was surprised by the bill adding the $100 for equipment charge that we have to pay. Additionally, they charged us for three and a half hours of labor for two workers. To make matters worse, they also claimed that we had canceled an appointment last March and charged us an additional $120. This was my first time contacting them and they gave me the bill for last year. I contacted the company to clarify the charges and spoke with their receptionist, Lukesha. Unfortunately, she was quite rude to me and informed me that regardless of whether customers like it or not, the company charges a certain fee. Upon hearing this, I felt overcharged and upset. I even asked if they had a record of my previous calls, but they were unable to provide any evidence. Nevertheless, they insisted that I pay the fee anyway."Avoid calling this company as their customer service is likely to cause significant stress and discomfort.
