Dropped off my rug over a month ago and have been asking for weeks when it will be ready. My messages are being read but never responded to. Called and said I'd get a call back but never did. I'm starting to worry my rug has been lost - I don't understand how this place has good reviews. read more

McGrew's Carpet Cleaning - Text exchange with business. - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina

I was very impressed at the job they did but was caught off guard by the price. Probably a little bit of my fault since I told them over the phone the approximate square footage BUT I wasn't that far off. Overall I would definitely use them again. read more

McGrew's Carpet Cleaning - Like new again! - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina

McGrews was incredibly helpful, efficient, and did a beautiful job! The woman whom I spoke to was extremely accommodating to a last min emergency carpet clean! We needed a spot clean from a pet stain accident. George was the technician who came to service the carpet He arrived early and was lovely. He completely removed the stain for us on brand new carpet, and we couldn't be happier. Thank you McGrew so much. You were a lifesaver. Definitely recommend this company for not only a beautiful job but lovely employees. Thank you! read more

They were very professional from the office staff to the technician, Luke. I had three rugs cleaned and sanitized for a very reasonable price. They were on time and did exactly what was agreed upon. Very happy with their service! read more

Update: Roy McGrew came to check on the hardwoods installed in my house. A neighbor told me I could do the job myself. It took 6 men 11 hours. Needless to say, I would still be working on the job done in March... Mr. McGraw came by to check the job site. I wasn't home, so I missed seeing him. Most people in Mt. Pleasant are busy, because this is currently the no.1 place to live. Roy left me over 20 real eggs from his own chickens. May sound silly, but I am thrilled to have real eggs, zero pesticides, hand delivered. Thank you Roy. You are the best! Hard to believe we met in 1994. read more

We dropped off a puppy soiled area rug at McGrews just before the virus hit. We asked them to deliver it today and it looks great! The guys took the time to place the rug and pad just where we wanted it. Thank you McGrews! read more

So this is my first time using a professional carpet cleaning company, since I always had my own home machine, and I will certainly be using them again. I called this morning to check pricing and they had a wonderful deal for my upstairs and stairs. The sales associate was extremely helpful and she sent a crew out the same day. The guy came in, sprayed the floors and then got started immediately. I thought these carpets were on the verge of being replaced but they are looking like new. I plan on putting this on my annual cleaning list. A must have for someone who values their home. Thanks again!!! read more

I dropped by rug off at McGrews 3rd Generation Carpet Cleaning on 8/20/2018 and paid in full $380.00. They told me my rug would not be ready for another week due to short staffing or not being able to find employees. I went back a week later they could not find the rug . I called a few days later and they said they where cleaning it they would not retuning any of my multiple call's. I week later on 8/17/2018 I came to pick up the rug. (And help search for the rug a second time ),The rug had been damaged , there edging was discolored an orange color and frayed. When I finally got in touch with the owner he told me my carpet was soaked in dog urine ( Simply not true ) and the I just wanted money out of him and that I was one of those hard to please people . Also that I better come get my rug or they where going to throw it out...... I am going to try a Civil court . My rug was a $2000.00 rug I bought from Pottery Barn. I saved up along time for that rug ;0( . The owner told my Pottery Barn is a bad vendor and sells bad rugs . Not true either . He also told me he would Counter sue me for my efforts to sue him for running my rug and not replacing it . So for all the above there is only a 1Star you can give nothing lower . Sincerely in Shock read more

I called the number for McGrews at 7 pm on a Wednesday night after discovering my dog had a series of accidents all over the family room carpet. The woman who answered (at 7 pm!) was super helpful and promised a tech out first thing Thursday morning, he arrived promptly, was super friendly, busted his tail and got the carpet looking (and smelling) amazing! Thanks so much! read more

I've used many different carpet cleaning companies and this one is the best. I have had over five cleanings with them and each time I get what I expect. The men who have come out are nice and explain everything. Love this company and will continue to use. read more

I am so happy! Nearly ripped out the carpets due to stains... McGrews cleaned the whole 2nd floor (4brs and the hall) and the carpets look great! Saved me a fortune in new carpet. Fast and friendly service too. Thank you McGrews! read more

We dropped off an area rug and they said it would be ready in two weeks. At two weeks, we called and left voice messages, showed up during posted business hours, with no response. Showed up at the three week mark during posted business hours and no one was there or answering phone . Fourth week I ran by to get it and finally got it back! Carrying it back into my house I could tell the rug smelled musty. I rolled open and to my dismay, it was the same dirty rug I dropped off 4 weeks ago!! If they attempted to clean it, it would smell fresher even if the stains were stubborn. No explanation was given at pick up ... poor communication and very slack customer service. Disappointed and hoping to get a refund .... read more

Thank goodness for McGrew's Carpet Cleaning! Been using them gratefully for years for my Persian rugs. About two weeks ago, I bought a beautiful light aqua breakfast room area rug 5'x8', thinner than an Oriental, but a burlap backed carpet-type piece. Five days later, our family boxer was violently sick(from both ends) all over it! That was Wednesday. Called McGrew's. They had it flushed, cleaned, dried, and back in my home by Saturday! It 's perfect again. read more

Locally owned business, which provides exceptional customer service! We moved into a new apartment and desperately needed carpet cleaning in the same day. Rebecca did everything possible by moving their schedule around and was able to squeeze us in. The cleaning crew did a phenomenal job and was able to remove all stains. They were polite and worked very thoroughly. Highly recommend this business! read more

Have had the WORST experience with McGrews. Carpet was cleaned the week before Thanksgiving. The fringe was completely destroyed. They picked it up the week after Thanksgiving to fix. I heard nothing until January when I had to physically go into the shop because calls were not answered or returned. The side of the shop that mends the carpets mentioned they might have it but it could not be located at that time. They mentioned I was the fourth person that week with problem with fringe being destroyed. I called again two weeks later and was told I would get a call back...nothing. I finally received a call from the woman who fixed the fringe telling me that it was finished (6 weeks later) and that the cost of the fringe was being covered by the cleaning portion of the business (as there was a note to that effect). She said I would be called for a redelivery. Three days went by before I called them. They were supposed to deliver it at 8:30 this morning. At 9:30 we called and they were on the way. I called again at 10:30, apparently the rug did not get on the truck could they deliver at 3:30? Rug was just delivered and I was told I was responsible for half of the price of the fringe which I refused to pay. The delivery driver (who had been the one to pick up the carpet in November) proceeded to argue with me that the fringe was already destroyed at first pick up and to "enjoy your free fringe." I proceeded to call the company again as I am appalled at the service I have received. I am not a first time customer for McGrews having had area rugs cleaned by them in the past...I am however a last time customer as I will never use them again. Beware!! read more
