We have a newborn and in the last few weeks I have needed to grab prescriptions for one of us. It is not easy to plan around an infant to get over there and fill there. One time the line was so long like this that we went inside. The line inside went all the way down an aisle and we waited 20 minutes for them to tell me if wasn't ready (at 4 PM when it was sent at 10 AM). When we did choose to wait in line at the drive thru, it was this line pictured. It was 15 min and again they said a script wasn't ready. Should be 20 min but I'd come back in two hours, is what the lady told me. When I came back the next day, my script was filled that was sent that day but my Daughter's from the previous day had been misplaced and they had to refill it on the spot. I understand everywhere has shortages and issues. They should really open mid day to catch up a little because they cannot keep up and a lot of folks need these medicines today and not four days later.

The pharmacy had very clear instructions and emails about what to do, how I would need to scan a QR code for after-information. They had a very clear set up with cones for cars to line up; you need an appointment (5 minutes tops). There was only one person ahead of me, so I waited a few minutes for the pharmacist to come back out with more test vials. He was fully protected and had all the necessary gear. He confirmed my birthday and then put the swap in my nose and it was done! I had an email that I was negative within the week.

Literally every single month, without fail, it is extremely problematic. If my doctor calls the prescription in so much as a day early, they will simply not fill it, at all, saying that they aren't allowed to fill it ahead of time, but then they will never actually fill it even on the date it is due. If I call it in after the due date, they will still never fill it, and always based upon some new and completely random reason. It's gotten to the point where I have to call literally on the day of, and only then will they MAYBE fill it. Yesterday, my prescription was due, and I had my doctor call in for a refill. There was a note on my file, however, literally from August 2021, that said not to fill it until 25 August, 2021. So some brainiac there decided that the note REALLY meant August 25, 2022, and they decided to just not fill my prescription based upon this insanely illogical assumption. I seriously do not know who ties these people's shoes for them in the morning. But I think I've figured it out! During one of so many episodes, my prescription just got "lost." So I think what is happening is that they will do anything they possibly can to mess up your Adderall order so that they can basically gank it for themselves at some point. I think that's what's going on because literally every single month for years and years on end, it's always been a problem. My guess is that they're trying to make Adderall prescriptions fall through the cracks so that they can walk out with it themselves, which has happened before as I just mentioned. These people are unbelievably shady. In fact, I would probably avoid using them for ANY prescription at all because they just don't seem to be playing with a full deck on any level, nor do they seem particularly honest.

I called my doctor back and was told that a message was left with the Verona Walgreens, and the doctor called the prescription in AGAIN. It is now nearly 4PM, and it took 15 minutes to find out if they were filling the prescription. Finally, they are, but there is no reason why a prescription refill should be SO-O-O-O difficult! Made me drive all the way back to stoughton to print a coupon from GoodRx (whom he had contracted with to run the coupon). The coupon CLEARLY stated that it "did not need to be printed - just 'show' or 'mention' discount/coupon to pharmacy". I showed this to him. He said he "did not care". His reasoning was.... "given the situation" read corona virus, he "did not want to have to handle my phone". ???? there was no need for him to handle my phone. Period. He could plainly see the coupon as well as the part stating that the discount "did not need to be printed - just 'show' or 'mention' discount/coupon to pharmacy". So, to recap, he did not want to handle my phone so badly that that he made me drive back to stoughton (he was aware of where/how far I had to go), open my printer/turn it on, load paper and print the page containing the discount, then carry that piece of paper back to him in McFarland, hand it to him for his perusal, at which point he filled my script. I won't harp on about how stupid his actions were. If he were truly acting out of concern about 'contact', the above paragraph detailing his actions says all that needs to be said about his grasp of the definition of theword"contact". Also, just to be clear I called the people who are running the discount just to make absolutely sure I did not need to print the coupon. I didn't. End of story. So yeah, the guy is a complete dick.
