Hello, I am writing…read morethis message because I feel that you have failed me as my Primary Care Provider. I have seen you or your NP, Mr. Abraham Ballah for my current condition with my back pain. The medication prescribed has been helping to get my pain from level 8 to level 5. An x-ray was ordered on the day that I saw Mr. Ballah. No one reached out to me to tell me my results. On 9/9 I left my job in an ambulance to the Emergency Department because of the pain in my back. The ED doctor suggested an MRI to see the Spine Center. The MRI was done on 9/8. However, the MRI was not read by the time of my appointment at the Spine Center with Jason Langlois, PA. on 9/18. It was a wasted appointment. I faxed my paperwork for PLML. You then referred me to the Spine Center to sign off on my PLML paperwork. Upon contacting the Spine Center, I was told that they do not sign off of PLML paperwork. I was also told by the representative that my PCP is supposed to help me with this. I spoke to the Dr. Chen at my appointment at the Spine Center on 10/18 about helping me with the PLML paperwork, and she told me that she has not ever done that. You, Dr. Semaan have basically dusted your hands with my care about my back situation once I saw the Spine Center on 9/18. I have been out of work since 9/9 due to my condition. My financial income has been severely my ability to pay my medical bills and caused a great deal of anxiety as well as bad mental health. I am unable to go back to work until a doctor listens to me. You, Dr. Semaan are my primary doctor. Which means to me that you are the doctor that should be my first PATIENT ADVOCATE! The person that referred you to me has left your care due to your poor bed side manner and lack of care for your patients. I will need to find another provider. I will be cancelling all future appointments. Very Disappointed, Ugeana Grant

They never smile, or make an attempt to assist a patient's when they need to change an appointment for x or y reason. Not sure why they work there. A better and supportive staff should be provided for Dr. Seeman. Her staff does not support her kindness!!

UMass Memorial Medical Center - The nurse can have a seltzer in a babys zone, but i cant have one in my own babys area.

Being that the ER department at the UMass Campus wasn't able to treat my disabled sister with…read morespecial needs who had a life threatening issue, she was transferred to the Belmont St hospital. I must add that the coordination couldn't have gone better. They arranged a bed for her in the CCU and the Dr who would be doing her surgery spent time with me over the phone explaining what needed to be done & how it will work. From the time we boarded the ambulance to the recovery room I highly doubt it could have gone any smoother. She came out of the surgery, then recovery, and was immediately taken to the CCU. The poor sweetheart had lines upon lines, oxygen, etc. And when she woke, clearly upset. The nurse ( Karen) that is assigned to her has been so very kind, compassionate, and highly skilled. All the other caretakers have been wonderful. It's been 3 days and she's still in the CCU. But she's doing quite well, healing nicely with the excellent care she is getting. What started out as a frightening experience turned out to be a very positive one & I can't thank them enough.

Horrific check-in staff experience…read more After a 3 hour wait, and those coming in after me being taken, I asked for a line of sight on how much longer. I was told nope, can't give you an idea, there are too many factors to consider. I explained I was in excruciating pain, that I cannot sit much longer. I asked if there was a bed I could lay down on while I wait the undetermined amount of time. Again, nope - but I was offered to lay down in my chair. Not possible. Rude, uncaring and demeaning. I left and went to UMass Harrington. I was tested and diagnosed with a severe intestinal obstruction, within 90 minutes of arriving. I then spent days in the hospital. To Belmont Street - I wasn't trying to hop the line. I was a patient in need. You showed zero compassion. if you lack politeness, care and concern you really don't belong anywhere in healthcare. Please do us all a favor and move on to an industry where your rudeness may result in an unhappy fast food customer over a cold meal versus risking the well-being or life of a fellow human.

I tried calling the PCP the plan had assigned me and they couldn't see me for two days. Instead, I opted to go to THE DOCTOR IS IN! on Park Avenue-- he doesn't take insurance-- instead you pay $40 and get treated. THIS is the healthcare we should be pushing for in the US. His office was clean and welcoming-- a big screen tv, magazines, etc. I waited about three minutes and then was seen, treated, diagnosed and given a prescription and was on my way in under 15 minutes. BAM-- no insurance needed. Take out the middle man and bring healthcare back to the days when doctors ran their own little offices. This is a great place-- and even with my mandated insurance I will still opt to pay my own way and come here.

All PCPs that I called were "taking new patients" but not doing physicals for a few months. I had tried to go to CVS's Minute Clinic but they aren't allowed to give physicals in MA (and made me wait for 2 hours). I came here as my last resort, driving by at 4:45 after work to see that it opened at 5:30 After getting a quick dinner, I walked into the clinic at 5:30 to find that he had already started seeing patients. I was in an out by 6:00 with a letter for my employer and only down $60! In the time between when I walked in and when I left, the doctor probably saw about 4 or 5 patients and was still very friendly, kind, and helpful to me, taking his time in asking questions and listening to my answers.
