He answered all of my questions and made sure any concerns were handled. The crew even took the time to put back the bricks they had to remove and fixed any grass/areas they disturbed, which I really appreciated. I have zero complaints about the job performed laying the concrete from McGhee. Job went into the late evening hours after dark and workers used lighting to complete the job. Had a PVC fence installed a month before. I didn't notice the burn mark on 3 panels of my new PVC gate and a hammer head crack on the bottom panel that occurred during forming, until a couple days later after I paid them in cash. Called and was asked to provide pictures and a repair quote, which was provided. Also, mentioned lots of concreate splatter all around the new fence. Stated they would send someone over to clean the fence. Over 3 weeks ago and zero contact from the company. Ensure to inspect after the job completion before making final payment. Which was my fault for not doing so. *Main reason for this review. read more

McGhee's Concrete installed a driveway across the street 3 weeks ago. Your company vehicles were parked on the road front of our property. Because of the rain they made a mess where they were parked. We asked one of the workers if they would fix the ruts. That was on 2/6. I know it's been raining lately and you couldn't comeback to fix the mess. I hope you will be back to fix the mess soon. We wanted to upgrade and extend our driveway. One day we were driving in our neighborhood and saw these guys working on another house. The job looked great so we asked for a business card. The following week we drove by that house again to check out the final product. We were definitely impressed! We gave them a call and they came out the same day. The quote was reasonable so we decided to redo our front porch and walkway. They scheduled the appointment and showed up when expected and got to work right away. They literally got the job done in two days. They were very professional and we'd hire them again no questions asked. We contracted with McGhee's Concrete to pour a 2 level patio, we were quoted a price. When they came back to look before they started the patio the price was increased by $1400 - sadly we agreed to the increased price - lesson learned! Mr. McGhee stated they would not get concrete on our house like a previous concrete project. Well let me tell you when McGhee's concrete finished there was concrete all over the windows and back of our house, the worker said "it will come off with a pressure washer" A 2 day job turned into a 5 day job because they would do a little bit, leave come back the next day and do a little bit more. On the last day they cut release joints in the concrete as they were doing this they cut into our vinyl in 2 places! The worker said he would replace the vinyl strips he had cut, well here we are 3 months later we have not seen nor heard from him or McGhee's Concrete company. I would NOT recommend this company to any one!! read more

McGhee's rescued us from a terrible situation. We hired another company to tear out and redo our driveway (which had been torn up by the roots of a large tree), but they made a mess and never finished the project. Avoid McGhee Concrete. They were eager to bid on my project but it all went downhill from there - poor communication, delayed start date because they sign up more work than they can actually handle. At first impression I thought the work was average but it quickly got worse. First crack appeared within 48 hours with almost a dozen appearing in the first week. read more
