We got a quote from this company due to positive reviews on google and in our neighborhood facebook…read moregroup. When Devin came out for a quote he was very professional and was able to generate a quote the same day. I have a home that was built in 1913 and the reviews praised attention to detail and quality work but that was not my experience with this company. When the work started Quay came out by himself, he was very nice and polite. Quay seemed inexperienced and lacked the proper equipment to complete the job. He didn't have the proper tools and had to go get tools or have them delivered to him during the job. The job was fairly good sized and a good amount of grinding needed to be done. At first Quay wasn't even wearing a mask during the grinding and was most likely inhaling a lot of dust. He eventually was provided with a mask but he needed a respirator. Upstairs my whole home (3 stories) was filled with dust, so much so that my Carbon Monoxide alarm and smoke alarm went off several times. If any type of dust mitigation would have been used the dust probably would have been at a manageable level but I think this speaks to the experience of the crew. I was told there would be some dust but I was completely unprepared to have to clean all 3 levels of my home. That brings me to cleaning, the cleanup was subpar. I did not expect them to clean my whole basement but they barely did anything at all. During the job they did not clean at all in my basement. My basement is a usable space that I do work and laundry in several times a week. Mortar was left everywhere, on rugs, walls, my oil tank and more. To make it even worse the grinding quality was poor. Several bricks were grinded through and three of them were broken. The mortar they used did not match my existing mortar so I have a mismatch of colors in the basement. To add insult to injury one of the workers wrote "Eazy A" on the wall in my basement by carving it into the stucco on some of the brick. I have attached a picture of this and can provide a before picture that Devin took to prove it wasn't there before the work. Another issue I had with this company is the communication and punctuality of the crew. I had to reach out to find out when they were coming to my home and when they were not. As a customer I should get the respect of a text or call saying the crew will be here at this time and then the crew show up. I am not just going to leave my doors unlocked for someone to come and go as they please. I would not hire or recommend this company for any work inside your home. I do feel like the company can be a quality company if they make improvements.
