The room was nice and clean - there was a bit of a stale odor initially, but this went away after running the cooler for a bit. The bed was comfortable, and everything worked as it should. Fridge and microwave are standard with each room here. This is a busy area, so be prepared for some early am noise from other travelers. No biggie - this just motivated me to get up and get going earlier! Breakfast was complimentary, to-go, and extensive - see pic! Bagel, cream cheese, two hard-cooked eggs, yogurt, cereal, juice (or milk), and coffee. There is a neat area by the front desk that has an extensive selection of snacks and drinks to purchase. There aren't any restaurants near the hotel, so this is a nice option for hungry travelers! Staff was wonderful, and super polite! I'll be back!

We could hear some traffic on I10 but it wasn't very loud. With COVID all hotels are doing a bag for breakfast. The Hampton provided a bagel with cream cheese, apple juice, yogurt, two hard boiled eggs and coffee. They also had apples if you wanted one. Okay but miss the Normal hot breakfast. Rooms are cleaned then sealed (see my photo). It's a 4 comfortable but could use a major cleaning. (They did have a sign in the lobby stating they are remodeling- that's a good thing).

We are traveling with a tiny pop-up camper. Our very first interaction with Hotel staff was a rude woman that came outside and wanted to know where we planned to park the car/camper. We shared with her that we typically back in one space, disconnect, and park right next to it (as far from the front door as possible) so not to take up any prime parking. I would like to mention that at late afternoon that the lot was almost empty (less than eight cars in the entire oversized parking lot). We asked where the laundry room was, and was told that it was out of order (upon our closer inspection It appeared that the laundry room has been out of order for a while and is now being used as a Storage room). We were informed that the hotel was under new management, and there was an expectation that many of the broken things would soon be repaired. At this point, we noted a Business Center kiosk with an out of order sign on in the lobby. The hotel clearly has been renovated within the last 10 years, but some of the finishes are starting to wear. We went to use the gym and found that the television was not working, there are no wipes provided for the equipment, nor are earbuds available to listen to the television which wasn't working anyway. There's broken equipment in the corner of the gym and even the clock on the wall needs a battery. Bedroom HVAC was problematic and was reported to the staff to be addressed. Our breakfast experience was OK, the breakfast area was clean enough and hot food was provided. We arrived at the end of breakfast hours, and we're surprised when the breakfast hostess immediately closed the doors without conversation, as they typically inquire if anybody wants anything further before they close, not a big deal but a nice courtesy. Overall, compared to the stays that we've had, this location was not up to par with the IHG brand. Hope that new management will offer training and address some of the relatively minor issues and take care of the details that can make a big difference for a good stay.

On the positive side, the breakfast was pretty good and the staff was friendly. Outside of that though, nothing else was very good. The rooms were not very clean, the floor was sticky, and we had to use a spray because the room didn't smell great. The most frustrating thing was the sink. The water barely dribbled out of the faucet. If you're having a hard time finding a hotel during a football weekend, there are worse places than this. At least it was safe.

I'm not going to say this was my best stay for Quality Inn. The price was $119 compared to the 2 hotels adjacent to it. Rates at $190. I was told that I had the best room but the front desk clerk. . My room was decent. It was somewhat clean. I always travel with a cab of Lysol. The window sills definitely need to be clean. It was quiet in the early evening. It got louder as the night went on. I swear the people next to me were fighting. In the early morning, someone knocked on my door. Nope, I never got up. I slept well despite all the outside energy. The shower was hot this morning. I'm off to work. I won't be staying here again.

Now this is an average price for 2 queen beds ,a working tv, mini fridge and microwave but the cleanliness definitely needs to be addressed . Stains on the bath walls and in the tub. I must say that the beds were comfortable to and clean they just need to pay attention to the rest No I would not stay there again even if the price was $58 a night

While I was on the phone with her, she was told the bed was re-made for her. See the attached picture of the dirty sheet. She was not comfortable with the clear lack of attention to cleanliness and sanitization and chose to leave the hotel. The second person arrived not long after, was also disgusted by the lack of clean facilities. See the attached picture of the restroom, and opted to leave as well. Considering we live in a Covid aware world, the obvious lack of cleanliness at filthy Comfort Inn Midway is alarming. Also, the manager, Mike, doesn't take or return calls or emails to address any of these issues. I think a call to the health department is in order. FYI, I rebooked my staff at a nearby AC Hotel by Marriott, it was less expensive and clean!!! Do yourself a favor. DO NOT BOOK WITH COMFORT INN MIDWAY.
