I have seen countless great shows at the Granada through the years. Heck I remember seeing movies…read morehere when I was a kid (saw a 3D movie with the glasses - maybe some kind of creature from the black lagoon or something - yeah I'm old!). Sound is always good. I like the staggered standing levels. If you want to get into the action up front you can do it but I prefer to be in the second level which is close but I don't have to worry about a mosh pit or anything. A few different bars - lobby or just inside the theater to keep you hydrated. Parking can be easy on Greenville in certain places if you know where to look although as new restaurants are opening nearby I'm gonna lose my go-to parking. Love that the CD World owner bought this place years ago and made it such a great venue. Also love that it's in my hood.

Doors open at 6 PM, so get there early unless you want to be part of the overflow squad. But honestly, even overflow isn't tragic. If you miss the rooftop, you can still watch the movie downstairs or out on the patio. Before the movie starts, they do trivia about the film, and if you get the answers right you win prizes like tickets or candy. So far they have shown Cruella and Hocus Pocus, and the energy has been great every time.

What a great place for an intimate concert or music event! I saw David Archuleta in the Cambridge…read moreroom, and I was the first one that I have been to a concert in this specific side room of the house of blues. It was small, intimate, and super fun! Everyone was super respectful about personal space, In the audio was fantastic. There was a much table outside of the room as well as a small one right when you enter the room. This stage was rather small, but it also allowed the audience to see the performers pretty close up. David was super super talented. The two dancers that he had on stage also was a great addition to his vocals. Band was also really good. It was also pretty easy to get an Uber when the concert finished. We definitely recommend seeing one of your favorite artist here, especially since it's such an intimate venue compared to big stadiums in arenas

HOB is always very chilly inside and this was no exception. The decor is very nice and since it's small you always have a good view. Only 2 things I did not like. 15 dollars for a canned beer is outrageous. Shots of good alcohol were cheaper at 12.99. The bartender was less than pleasent and very crusty. Then with the show still going on she was closing down the bar. It was before 11pm and people were still wanting drinks. I would live to go here again though just for the room and the sound

I finally got to check The Loft out. Wasn't quite sure what I was expecting given that it's above…read morethe Palladium, which is quite large. The Loft is fairly small. Think I heard it holds about 400 people. There's a bar in the back, and a bar to the side of the stage, so it was pretty easy to get a drink at all times (important!). I can't really comment about the sound because the Buzzcocks played LOUD, but I enjoyed it, even when I went deaf. The opening band wasn't really my cup of tea, so we all went out to the patio. A huge patio at that. It was fun looking at the Dallas skyline and watching the hoochie mama's below going to the Pittpull concert. Hello silicone, but I digress. I didn't really mind paying $4.50 for weak cocktails, or $4 for Shiner, even when it was poured in a plastic cup. The bathroom attendant was so unnecessary, though. Is she always there? There are only two bathroom sinks, and we were at a punk show ferfucksake. Any who. I felt the venue was solid for what it does, and the fact that I was able to get so close to punk legends sealed the deal.

Rubbing Elbows One…read moreof the best reason to go see a live band is the ability to feel the music coming out of their mouths and instruments. That can only be accomplished by being up close and personal. The loft is so much more intimate than the Palladium below. The bartenders can get busy, especially between sets, but don't worry they'll get to you. Between sets take a breather on their awesome balcony. Take some pics with your friend/significant other with the Dallas skyline. With all these positive marks you would expect a 5 star review. Sadly, the band line up is pretty limited. My favorite recurring band are the Spazmatics. I wish they could take a cue from Granada's rotation. Still, if your favorite band comes, it's a no brainer! Band with a view

Staff is courteous, bar…read moreacces is excellent and abundant (huge bars on either side), sound is dialed in, very good crowd control, always felt safe, and the bathrooms are massive and very clean with no waiting. I live It'l Do as well but the bathroom (men's) is tiny with one stall. Always a line up. I do not know why some comment that security is rude. I have never seen any indication of that. I agree the the VIP room needs some work. The mezzanine area when complete will be a great add on for different views. It's also super cool to see the sound and light engineers do their work at the back. It's rare that a venue has this part open to view. I have not experienced the table service yet. No idea how much that costs. The outside area has lots of seating to take a quick break. Food truck has never disappointed. So happy that Dallas has this venue as Stereo Live is a dump. The crowds are a mix of all styles and ages. Parking is easy if you get there by 10pm. It's in the top list of world class venues for a reason. Don't understand the haters.

I've been here over a dozen times within the past year and SILO has steadily gone downhill…read more A few shows ago my friend was forcefully shoved out of the way by security because she was near the entrance to the seated area. Why they couldn't just ask her to move somewhere else defies logic. Also there have now been a number of shows, most notably the ATLiens and Svddendeath shows, where the sound quality has been abysmal or turned down. Why should anyone come here when the own venue turns down the sound at their shows for no valid reasons? Parking, while not managed directly by Silo, the company they've chosen to handle their parking lot has also been a complete nightmare at times. I had already purchased a number of tickets for future shows but I'll be reaching out to my credit card company if this is all SILO has to offer.

SILO - This was a LOCKED door on VIP during the show. Had to go through the main venue to even exit. Note: it's also installed incorrectly
