JDs Lock Shop was REALLY fast (showed up in about 20 minutes), and even charged me less than what he quoted me because he was able to repair the old lock (instead of replace). He even made a small repair to my back door while he was out, no charge, just wanted it to look right. Rare, old school, family business type service. 5 stars!!! I was a little surprised by the price which is why I dropped a star. It was quoted a tiny bit high but still around the competition (most quotes came out to $180-280), but was completed higher than competitors in the end. That being said, I don't know if the actual price from competitors would have been higher than their quotes. For transparency here, I paid a $65 service fee plus $55 per house lock. The mailbox was a higher charge at $125. I was quoted $200-300 (probably assuming 3 locks rather than the 4 I ended up needing); it came out to about $410 plus tax. The result is the same. I have a fully rekeyed home and mailbox. Service was excellent. The vehicle was well marked and the Johnny was very professional and easy to work with.
