I stopped by here with my sons to get some lunch around 1:35pm on a Saturday to grab some lunch before going to a birthday dinner. I ordered via the app while in the parking lot. Since I got my car cleaned recently, I decided we would eat inside. I got one a burger kids meal and the other a nuggets kids meal. I got a triple cheeseburger combo. Inside, I was given a cup for my drink. The tea was nasty... not sweet at all. I ended up getting some tea from the back, which was much better. We received the food around 1:40pm. It was correct and we had no issues. We enjoyed it. The kids got a HUGE poster that could be colored as the toy. It came with crayons and stickers too.

I don't know what's going on in this McDonald's but they need to get it together! I ordered and they got my food wrong I asked for two McChic with cheese and they left it plain. After it took 30 mins just to take my order. Drive through lines be long. The soda machine is down.

Nice looking McDonald's, but quite possibly and slowest you can find. They really take the fast out of fast food. The restaurant was very nice. It was clean, airy and updated. In fact, it felt quite new. The service, however, was abysmal. I went in for coffee and waited 10 minutes after paying. I know what you're thinking, but nope, the coffee was already made, just sitting there waiting to be poured. The amusing part is that I'm the restaurant wasn't even busy --you can see in the photos it was empty. The staff were friendly enough, though the area couldn't have been more sketchy. I went inside and was skeptical on leaving my car outside --and it's not a fancy car. I think you get the idea. Typical McDonald's prices, and food. The experience was just terrible, and certainly would go back or recommend.

Today I ordered at the McDonalds location on MLK Drive in Winston Salem. Totally diappointed and no time to return, nor will I ever!

Did a quick yelp search, and found Camino wasn't too far from where we were. We walked over and found it clustered in a nice area with several restaurants we've visited in the past. There was a short line, and only one person taking/making orders behind the counter. I couldn't figure out what the other two were doing, but he was able to keep the line moving fairly fast. We ordered a slice of quiche and a Danish to share. We asked for the quiche to have to have there, and the Danish to go, so asked to have it heated. They said they couldn't heat any food, but pointed us in to the microwave in the dining area which was a bit odd to me. Otherwise, the food was tasty. They've got a good bit of a seating inside with a laid back, relaxed feel. They've got some art on the walls, assuming from local artists for sale. They also have a small patio out front on the sidewalk. We did need to use the bathroom before leaving, which are locked, and you need to ask the staff for code to use them, which isn't something we're used to.

I passed on the food (it seemed overpriced), but the coffee left no room for complaint. I went with a marshmallow iced latte. Winston-Salem has no shortage of places to grab a drink of the caffeinated or alcoholic varieties, but it's hard to beat the atmosphere that The Remedy has to offer.

Being right across from Old Salem, it's location is perfect after a morning walk through the misty history (see what I did there?) Parking on the street is free and usually easy and stress-free (so is their wi-fi). I order the matcha (with almond milk) every time and it's consistently excellent, whether hot or iced. My boyfriend tried the iced Moravian Sugar Cake Latte, and it was absolutely life changing! I am begging the owner to keep this one on the menu year round! Smooth and full of rich cinnamon-sugar flavor that felt both indulgent and comforting. The drinks are always carefully made, beautifully presented with art on the foam and taste just as good as they look. The barista said the flavored syrups are made in house. With great flavors, a welcoming vibe, and consistently high quality, Sayso Coffee has become a place we keep coming back to again and again. The interior is unassuming and not "girly froo-froo" as my son named some other coffee shops. There is a large, open section of seating attached to the coffee bar in which the sunlight pouring in the windows makes you want to sit longer and feel the warm-belly cozy from your coffee. You could definitely have a first date, mom meetup, Sunday book club, card game group, or homework sess. Cool, non-vocal jazz is usually playing and live plants inside are always listening to the happy conversations. I have seen some bakery items also, probably need to get there early for the best selection. I'm always curious of the naming of small businesses. Apparently the term "Say So" implies confidence, self-expression, and speaking up about what you like, which fits well with choosing your favorite drink or having your own taste and style. Love it
