Staff mentioned they were short-handed, and service was understandably slow. The menu is very broad and might benefit from focusing more tightly on the items they execute best. The ribs were the strongest part of the BBQ plate with solid bark and decent smoke. Pulled pork was slightly dry and mild on smoke flavor. Brisket was inconsistent -- some slices dry, others much better and more moist. Mac and cheese was typical, and the broccoli casserole was an interesting side, think cream of broccoli soup meats pot pie. Not destination BBQ, but an authentic local spot with and hometown feel.

It wasn't nearly as good as the higher end breakfast spots and kind of felt behind the standard. Kind of the "value" breakfast. It was warm, eggs were great, it met the needs. Staff was great. Waitress was very nice, polite and attentive. The cook was working his butt off and really hustled in the kitchen doing an A+ job. The management should be proud of the people here. With OK food and great staff, the score dropped because of the seating. We had six adults put at a table that really was designed terribly. In likely another cost saving measure by their franchise operations, they have this ledge along all the windows. It hangs out about 6". If you are along the window and eat with that arm, forget it. It was a crazy inconvenience. I almost went to 2 because of the poor design. If you are a cost accountant, maybe you would rate it higher on the ability to cram people into a space designed to cost the least to build.

The Norton Burger King was always fresh, hot, delicious and plentiful with their food offerings, in the past. What happened? We will never eat at the Norton Burger King location ever again. My Aunt gave the coffee milkshake a C grade saying should couldn't really taste the coffee flavor. We enjoyed sitting under the covered areas because it was such a beautiful day. Robo's definitely seems like a local favorite. I'd return and try some other items on the menu (especially breakfast) if I'm in the area again.
