Has to be one of the worst ran facilities, I get it is McDonalds so expectations are very low, but to be worse than that hard to do, they did however nail that this evening! Ordered 2 meals, not busy at all. Only car in drive thru actually. Fries; cold, drinks had 6 pieces of ice. The girl at the pick up window never spoke only had multiple faces full of attitude. Get home and hacks of our meals aren't in the bag. Call up to let them know, they answer they answer the line with hello only no McDonalds or indication otherwise. After explaining the situation 3 times she says umm let me get my manager, manager mumbles several things to none of which I can make out. Terrible service. The evening or night shift after 7 pm, the whole shift crew should be fired. Everyone in there playing around. The manager dancing and cursing standing around watching the employees standing and doing nothing. Meanwhile cars are lined up around the building and he telling them to hold please. Ordered by app and it literally took 1 full hour from time I pulled up to the speaker until I got my order at the window. They couldn't even locate the order and asked my name 4 times. Then when I got my food it was not even the order I made and asked for. I waited 5 full minutes for one dude to state he didn't know how to make it while laughing and playing around and about an order he threw together that was wrong. Alright. I have the most complicated relationship with this McDonald's. So one of my personal things is I never review a business that I have only been to once. Because I want my review to be viewed and valued as a true review for the company, not just a one time experience. I've been to this McDonald's 100s of times. I grew up in whitehouse and this is the only one. Years ago(around 2015-2017) I would have given this McDonald's a 5 star. The food came out super quick. They never messed up my order. And it was good. I mean what more could you want? Then I went off to college for a year, but decided to come back. I was shocked. The drive through was slow as hell. The food didn't taste right. And the employees were exceptionally bad at communicating. I was wondering if the Dairy Queen down the road sent its employees to this one. (Different story) I would go to this McDonald's at least 1 a month and every time, same awful crap. If I would have reviewed in 2019-2020 it would be 1 Star without second thought. Now it's 2021 and I've started to see improvement. Like a child that was good and had to go through it's teen years of rebellion. Now this mcdonalds is starting to get back to what it was years ago. The main difference is the bathrooms and tables need to be cleaned. Once that is done I will bump this up to 4 stars. But for now, I give it three because this McDonald's is not a 5 star. Kind of a long Story. I went through the drive-thru for breakfast at McDonald's in Whitehouse Tx. Haven't had McDonald's breakfast in more than a year. I didn't know what the deal was. I asked if there was an up-charge for OJ on the #1. I had the repeat myself a few times because she didn't hear me well. Starting to lose my patience until she said it came with the meal and than I felt dumb for asking. I don't care that I felt dumb for asking. I was just upset that I got up-charged anyways. I pointed it out to the cashier after she gave me my receipt. It literally said drink "up-charge 1.99" on the receipt. I was so annoyed. The cashier was indifferent as if she was saying "oops" in her head and barely expressed any concern until I said "well I guess that's just my luck, right?" She said "no, you can talk to the manager when you pick up the food. When I picked up my food I explained to the manager about the situation hoping to get my money back or get some sort of compensation. And the manager's reply was "there is an up-charge for OJ" as if i hadn't already figured that out. "Trust me know about the up-charge now. But the cashier said there wasn't an up-charge" having to explain once again to the manager again. They weren't listening me. Then she said was gonna scold the cashier about it as if that was what I was asking for. I don't care if the cashier gets in trouble or not. I'll sleep just fine either way. That's not the compensation I was wanting. But I guess that manager only knows how to take a complaint and dish it back out to her staff rather than correct it with me. Seriously... how hard is this job. You look at a screen, grab the items on the screen, put them in a bag and then double check that you grabbed all the items before giving them to the customer. I've just come to expect that something will be missing every single time. Every now and then it gets better, I get my order correct. And so I figure maybe things are changing here. Try again and then find stuff missing. Never mind... I was wrong. Delivery drivers. Avoid this place. Don't take orders from here because they seal the bag and you don't get to check the contents. What stinks is you can even ask them if they made sure this or that is in the bag and they'll just lie because they are too lazy to open it back up and double check. Over all expect something to be missing, don't order delivery. Actually it's best to just go inside so you can fix the mistakes on the spot. read more

I'm in town visiting family and ordered a Quarter Pounder through the drive-thru. When I got to my destination to finally eat, this "thing" was completely raw on the inside...not just a small portion..through and through! The outside was seared, but the inside was RAW!! I would have left ZERO stars if I could here... After a year since I have made the poor choice of stopping at this McDonalds in the town I live in, Whitehouse, things have not changed. Possibly gotten worst. The current manager is horrible, I did not get her name, but she basically stole 2 dollars from us and jacked our order up. The food has never been good, so my bad for trying to get something here even on Christmas Eve morning while traveling with my family. Fortunately, I will never leave another review here again unless I make a horrible mistake and make the decision to stop here again. So, Xmas Eve, we decide to get breakfast as we head south to my hometown to visit my family 3 hours away. We have 6 people in the car, so granted the order is larger than I assume a normal order. We order 4 breakfast combos for 4 of us, 1 person ordered a hash brown and an oatmeal, the 6th person just wanted 2 hash browns. The drive thru attendant repeated our order and was actually very nice... I almost gave it a star, but couldn't do it... so, we get to the window, get our food and it is wrong. As I sit at the window pulling my receipt out, the drive thru worker asked if I needed anything. I said we need ketchup, but we are missing hash browns and a sandwich (egg, cheese, sausage McMuff). So, she says OK and shuts the door. We continued taking inventory and noticed we had only 4 hash browns. So bringing the missing sandwich and 1 hash brown still shorts us 2 hash browns (4 with the combo and the one corrected is 5). I do realize math is not their strong suit, but tried to be patient. They brought us the sandwich and 1 hash brown. So, I explain we are missing 2 hash browns. Now the managers comes to the window asking for our receipt. She says you didn't pay for 3 extra hash browns... I explain it was on the screen when I ordered it, I will pay for 2 more hash browns and gave her a $5 bill. About 2 minutes later the manager came to the window with 2 hash browns a receipt and change (No $1 bills in the change)... I mean less than a dollar in change! I asked how are hash browns $2+ each. The menu says they are 50 cents. She said we had to charge you for 3 since they weren't on your receipt. I quickly went from a little annoyed to "very"... so doing the quick math in my head and said "so you charged me like, $1.50 per hash brown. Those hash browns don't cost that... ? She just looked at me like please go away. After a few seconds, I decided this battle is not worth fighting. I wished her a Merry Xmas... 3 times each getting louder so her staff could hear! This is the worst Mc Donald's ever. We finished our trip without thinking much more about it. My daughter asked if we could go to McDonald's Donald's and since I didn't feel like driving to Tyler, I decided to make her food. My Husband and I went here and decided to dine inside. At 11:00 A M the dining area was empty but the floors definitely needed to be cleaned. We ordered our food and they gave us our cups for drinks. We try to get ice and there wasnt any in the machine. We tell them at the desk, all they say is "ok" . We waited for ice, until I finally went to counter to ask for it. We then go to drink machine to get drinks and ther is a ROACH where you pull the pump. We report it and the lady says " how disgusting ". Whitehouse McDonalds is so slow it's much quicker to go into Tyler to order. Also, my order is normally wrong.

Fourth trip there in a row, and they cannot get the order correct. Nothing pisses off a first responder to order food, drive off lights and sirens trying to inhale dinner and bite into a burger not made the way its ordered. The correct order is even printed on the paper they stick to each burger but yet, the burger is completely incorrect. I understand what having a bad day is but, the past two trips a couple of the employees have an extremely poor attitude and actually witnessed them being rude to customers. SAD! read more

When I got to the window, the cashier asked me to pull into one of the waiting lanes because they did not have hash browns ready. Ten minutes after I ordered, I still had no food. I went inside and asked to speak to a manager. The manager made an excuse for why my order took so long and was extremely rude. She gave me a refund, but she did not give me any food because she said she wouldn't serve me because I was rude to her. That's how my last visit to this McDonald's happened. A drive thru-window who constantly needs you to repeat what you are ordering 2-3x, the person handing you the food without a greeting, thank you or anything. The wait is terrible, the food is never fresh and the customer service is not even in existence. The McDonald's in Whitehouse, Tx is a hit and miss. There are days that you can get your whole meal as it is on the menu but then there are days that you can't even get fries that are hot or a straw for your drink better yet remember to ask for napkins and ketchup.
