systemic closing shift abuse unsafe weather exposure dangerous parking lot conditions harassment from customers manipulation/lies by management or supervisors for a few years , cyclists picking up orders at this mcdonald's have faced unsafe and disrespectful conditions. the lobby window was consistently shut at 10pm, even though it's supposed to stay open until 11 and the restaurant until 12. this forced cyclist into the drive-thru with cars -- in blizzards, pouring rain, freezing cold, and icy parking lots. some have gotten sick, lost money, or even been hit by cars. riders often received cold or wet food, which caused financial losses on top of the unsafe conditions. the closing shift frequently slowed down orders, creating unnecessary delays. for a few years, this wasn't a one-time thing or a weather issue -- it happened night after night, season after season... for a few years... drive-thru customers have also approached cyclist aggressively or under false pretenses, making the environment even more hostile. if the lobby window is going to be closed early every night(against policy anyway)it should be removed entirely -- it's misleading and policy is not being followed. there are a few good workers, but even on morning and second shift, the the closing shift overshadows that. seemed like repeated personal targeting. generally, (for any delivery person), restaurants are expected to follow local health, safety, and accessibility rules, which usually means: Access to pickup areas: Even if a restaurant closes the dining area or lobby to customers, there should still be a way for delivery workers to safely access the order pickup area until the restaurant officially closes. just saying , this type of repeated behavior don't look good random or accidental. Employee assistance: If the doors are locked or the lobby is closed, an employee should provide some way to hand off the food safely -- even if it's through a small window or side door which this place has with a huge delivery driver sticker that says pick up with door bells ,restaurant hours all . Dealing with the few thousand families to feed every night ,Cyclist shouldn't have to risk going into the drive-thru lane or standing outside in unsafe conditions. Policy vs. practice: If the lobby is supposed to be open until 11 or 12, closing it early for delivery workers is against policy. Employees shouldn't be able to just ignore it or make you "figure it out" in dangerous conditions.. I told them that I would be letting their superior know of the negligence and policy violations and a few cold nights they were way out of order with smart remarks if they didn't tighten that sh^^ up and here we are today. just the result of long-term systemic neglect i'm acknowledge the few good workers briefly so it's fair, but make it absolutely clear the closing shift's repeated abuse and negligence overshadows everything read more

They are always forgetting the stuff every time it's something new today was my fries I called twice they yelled at me for "spam calling" when I was trying to let them know there mistake and how they could refund me for the fries but they said call back tomorrow when they close in 50 something minutes ! The last 3 times I've been there, the food has been horrible. The fries are cold and the chicken nuggets have been hard and dried out. The shake machine has been out of order , shut down for cleaning, or there are no chocolate shakes. Today was a bad bad bad McDonalds Day. I had to get something at Parkway Cleaners, right across the street from the McDonalds where I sometimes go thru the drive-thru. Ordered two Crispy Chicken sandwiches and a medium fries, to bring home for my daughter and me to eat while I worked. Put the order in with no issues. Rolled up to pay. Was asked to pull to the side parking/pick-up area as my order wasn't quite ready. Ok, no big deal, I've done this before here. Waited longer than I expected, about 10-15 minutes, and the McDonalds employee showed up with my lunches. I thanked her and drove home. Upon opening the first "Crispy Chicken" sandwich bag, I discovered a mostly black/charcoaled "Crispy" chicken sandwich ("CCC"). Ugh. Really un-appetizing. Burnt and singed chicken. Same with sandwich #2. Now I've had these new sandwiches a couple of times now from this particular McDs and they were GREAT. Golden brown and juicy. Very flavorful. But this time...BAAAAD. Called the store. The Manager was pleasant as was I. Absolutely A-ok to bring back the CCC's for better ones! So I did the 6 min drive back. Walked in. Smiled, and one worker took one look in my bag and grimaced! LOL She asked if I'd rather have a refund. Since it was going on 2PM and I hadn't had a chance to eat anything today, I said that if the could just make me better sandwiches, I'd take them. I should have listened better. When a Manager IMMEDIATELY offers a pleasant customer a REFUND first, bells should have gone off! Haha! I was given a re-do on my order and got into my car. I opened the order and...SURPRISE! A second set of CHARRED "CCCs" appeared! Wow. Really? I forgot to mention that the "Manager" (not sure the person who spoke with me was REALLY the Manager...) after offering me a refund then told me that they'd "been having problems with the freezer all day." No, I think the problem MUST be with the fryer...but here's the ending... I decided to head to Chik-fil-a in Downingtown bc by this time I was FAMISHED ... BUT really wanted a CHICKEN SANDWICH and you just can't beat CFA for the ULTIMATE Chicken Sandwich!! Drove to Downingtown and to my HORROR (gasp!) the CFA there was surrounded by dirt, bulldozers and cement mixers!!! Definitely NOT open for biz! (I hope they are just RENOVATING and NOT closed down FOREVER!!!). :( My last ditch hope was McDonalds in EXTON! I am happy to report that my CCC ftom there was...SCRUMPTIOUS!!! Today experienced something noone should. Get my daughters hashbrowns and my daughter bites into it and chokes on a piece of metal. When I went back to the location they offered me a refund. My 6 year old child bit into hashbrown and ends up choking on a metal piece of something wasn't small either. I asked for GM info I was told I wasn't able to get that. Horrible my child is traumatized from this. I will not be returning amd will follow through with what needs to happen. well, Mickey D's is advertising the fresh heck out of their new Chik-Fil-A ripoff. Being a HUGE chicken sammich fan, I tried McD's offering today. Two words. SCORCHED HEN. They overcooked that bird so hard, it must have tried to fly outa the fryer. Funniest part? McD's chose to have their drive thru bags pay homage to this new breaded bird on a bun, and wouldn'tcha know it, it says, and I quote: Crispy. Juicy. Tender. Someone must have been in quite the hurry, jotting to memory ONLY the first word, cause it was crispier than that new money our government is printing 24/7/365. Should be able to give this place zero stars. It's absolutely garbage. Orders are always wrong and the staff cannot converse with you when they make a mistake or get something wrong. It's also the cheapest McDonald's I've ever been to and gives you bare minimum of everything. If someone orders a 2 cheeseburger meal with only cheese and onions that means BOTH burgers should ONLY have cheese and onion on them! I went there tonight to pick up an Uber Eats order. It was already an irritating experience because I had to wait over ten minutes for the customer's order. It gets busy, they get behind, I get it so I can let that slide, I watched what appeared to be the manager pack my bag and I had noticed that he didn't pack everything that the customer had requested. After he had finally handed me the bag which was sealed, I asked him if he had packed all of the sauces in there that were requested and his response was "everything is in there and then some." To my intuition, I peeled the middle sticker on the bag and peeked inside only to notice that not only were none of the sauces in the bag, but there was also French fries missing along with the pies she had ordered as well. I turned around and went to the front counter and after being ignored for several minutes, I was finally able to get the manager to acknowledge me so I could explain to him I was missing several things. Instead of owning his mistake and apologizing as someone in his position should, he tried to put it back on me because I had peeled the sticker and I had no right to do that because I wasn't the actual customer. I replied by saying the more important issue at hand was that he cheated the customer and it was important that I give them what they had asked and paid for. He acted very annoyed and said he was going to have to redo the entire bag and angrily told me I need to go over to the online order window where I belong. He then eventually handed me a new bag that was sealed extra tight while staring me down as if he wanted to fight me before turning away. I didn't even dare look inside this bag, I can only hope he didn't screw the customer over again. I just find it very funny that he felt the need to give me such a horrible attitude when he is the one who f*cked up, not me. Because of all of this bs, my delivery was very late which can negatively impact my rating as an Uber driver which is not appreciated. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience at this location. Save yourself a huge headache and avoid this place at all costs!!! read more

After receiving my happy meal and not getting the correct happy meal box I quickly returned to the drive through window.I was refused a box and not even acknowledged by the four female workers standing at the window. The one even made eye contact with me and then turned away. I am very upset and feel I have been discriminated against for my age due to the fact that I ordered a happy meal at sixteen. I'd say this location has about a 50% mistake ratio on our orders. There have been a few times when we've placed an order through the drive-through, been handed our bag(s) of food, and when we got home found out that something was missing or incorrectly made. (For example, a request for a plain cheeseburger may still end up with condiments). As an another example: I know one time they forgot Chicken Nuggets and instead threw in two extra french fry orders. Of course, we didn't discover this until we got home. So I called and was told to come back and they'd make it right. Their idea of "make it right" was to give me a box of nuggets and they told me I could "keep the extra fries they gave us before". Yep, okay. So in the meantime, my kiddo didn't eat the fries at home because she wanted to have hot french fries with her hot chicken nuggets. Of course, by the time, I had called them about the error, drove back, parked, waited in line for someone to correct the order, and then driven home again... the original fries were stone-cold and limp. I had a pretty miserable kiddo for the evening, because they couldn't get their order right and their idea of "making it right" wasn't up to snuff as far as I'm concerned. There's a reason that if time allows, we actually go to another McDonalds that is a little bit further away from us, vs. this one. However, whatever food is accurately made has the usual McDonald's flavor and style, so there is that. :) read more

I asked for no pickles and the woman put that I requested no onions. Accuracy is very important.
