I could tell by the attitude of the kid at the register that there was no way they were going to cook our food "to order" (fresh) as specified. And they definitely did not. I took my daughter here for her birthday lunch and her Bacon Quarter Pounder With Cheese was disgusting. The McD's in nearly Hales Corners does this right - world of difference. The food here always is amazing. It's never cold. we told them our order and we pulled up to get our food. They only brought us out one thing and they forgot to make the kids meal. And after they do, it doesn't have the fries or the pickles on the burger. We went in the drive-through and there were only three cars and it took an hour to get through because they were so slow. We have gone here twice and ordered a sandwich with no onion and extra pickles. Last time I got 3 pickles and this time I got 2. McDonald's is the shittiest fast food place out there. This was, without a doubt, the objectively worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The workers were completely abhorrent in attitude, ethicality, and a girl peed herself in thr eating area! And no one cleaned it up! When I first got there, the cashier ducked down behind the counter, as if he was hiding from me. After a good solid minute and a half, he finally poked his head up and said 'hah, just kidding'. All I ordered was a large fry; and when I did, he said, "Uh, aren't you a little too young e to be eating a large fry all by yourself?". I'm sixteen! I'm more than capable of eating a large fry on my own! At first I shrugged it off, but when I went to get my order, I received a fry container that wasn't even half full! Naturally o got upset and all but demanded to be treated with the divinity that I deserve as a customer. They apologized, but I had to wait about five extra minutes for them to make extra fries. When I went to go eat, a young girl, maybe about in her early teens or something, peed herself around the same area where I was sitting. She peed for a solid two minutes, so there was a gigantic puddle that was running towards my feet. Yet when I called someone over, no one came to my aid. To escape my absolutely grotesque fate, I made a precarious leap over the puddle by sliding my body onto the table first. Even after this, still no one came to clean the mess. Lastly, I noticed a worker drop a pocket knife in the kids area. As a result, the kids picked it up and started freaking out. I watched in awe as the state of the play place transitioned from calm to total anarchy quicker than the Austro-Hungarian Empire during WWI. A parent eventually had to step in and take the knife up to the desk for the worker to retrieve. Keep in mind: this happened about thirty minutes AFTER the worker dropped the knife. So there you have it: this McDonald's establishment is a little re encarnation of one of Satan's personal behemoths. The ethicality, service, and overall atmosphere of the restaurant is reminiscent of my encounter with an infernal skunk as a child. Eat here at your own risk. You have been warned. read more

Very fast and friendly. Stopped in for the long drive home to grab some food. The manager seemed to be a big team player which is great to see. Added a little "bonus" to my daughter's happy meal, tried to give him a little cash for appreciating that he did that. He declined, but very polite. I would come back again. read more

**Update- 6/17/2020** I gave a review in 2018 about this McDs- and it was scathing. I am going to update my review. Again- not sure what happened. Maybe again new ownership or management? This McDs has once again pulled a 180. I would say that the last 10 times I have gone through the drivethrough at the Waterford McDs, the experience has been amazing. I can't tell you the last time they got the order wrong. I order 2 plain McDoubles? I ge 2 plain McDoubles. They don't have me waiting an inordinately long time for the food, even with however busy they are (and in the early days of Covid, They were very busy-- they still got my order right). The employees are very pleasant from the order taker to the order giver. And one thing I really like lately? They ask me if I need a drink carrier. I am usually alone in my vehicle, so it is nice that they see that I can't just take 4 drinks without a carrier. (In the past, they would just start handing drinks to me, and I would ask for a drink carrier, and be met with a look of disdain.) I appreciate that they actually look, see that there is 1 person for 4 drinks, and that they just ask if I want a drink carrier. I really like coming to this location when I am in the area. I have only gone inside this location once so I am not sure how the inside is on a regular basis but the one time I was inside, it was clean and the employee at the counter was friendly. I usually go through the drive-thru and it was always the same guy taking the order and the payment. He was NOT a pleasant person at all. He doesn't seem to be at this location anymore though. (Woohoo!) The food is always hot and fresh so I don't feel the need to say fresh if I want hot fries or burger. The sodas are always filled to the highest point, sometimes I am impressed the soda isn't coming out the top as I put the straw in because it's so full. The parking lot is always clean which is nice considering they share 1/2 their parking lot with the gas station that they're attached to. read more

Always screwing up your order....sometimes no meat on sandwich or your missing three items....service is the worst

This was our first visit to this location. It was close to the hotel we were staying at (walked over) so we thought for a quick bite before bedtime it would be a good choice. We only ordered two items, a burger (with no bun) and BBQ chicken tenders. No fries, no drinks. The wait for our food was very long 20mins. There was quite a bit of activity we witnessed, from someone that came in and looked like she may have been a manager, to the workers goofing off and yelling across the back area to each other. Woman that may have been a manager asked "you're not waiting for food are you?" When we replied yes, she gave us an angry glare and started heading towards the back. I thought she was going to get our food out faster, but she just started talking to the others about something else. We continued to wait while other customers were served. This was at 6pm on a Saturday. It was nearly 6:30 by the time we received our food. I told my husband we could have driven somewhere else and been back before this place would have had our food ready. BTW my burger was nasty, dried out and un-edible. I figured they made my burger first and let it sit around for 20 mins while they made my husband's. They must not know how to do more than one thing at a time. And the one worker that kept walking around yelling back and forth to her coworkers, was a real hoot to watch. These people need some training. I can't believe they want $15+ an hour. read more

Waterford .. In recent times, McDonald's has been undergoing something of a renaissance into trying to become some odd upscale Starbucks-a-like, and in doing so, as a parent, I've been disappointed to see a number of nice playlands disappear. McDonald's seems to have forgotten that they have the playland market cornered... so anyways, I've decided to review some and share some hints for other parents. This McDonald's has a really nice playland for older kids, but also has a small area designed for toddlers. A fairly large tube based setup, there are two slides down and kids can climb up to either of two levels in the playland. Some playlands seem good for hide and seek, and this is definitely one of them, and even the floor level seems to encourage kids chasing around and hiding on each other. Seating inside the playland is generous, plenty of space. Additionally, there is a restroom available within the playland, complete with changing table and even a little seat where adults can tie a kid down while they attend to matters. Clearly designed by someone who's had kids. It's mixed in with a gas station, which is kind of curious and unusual. The people at the counter were reasonably sharp and quick, even though it was a bit busy when we visited. Giving it 4 out of 5 "for a McDonald's". read more

Went to this McDonalds tonight and waited in the drive thru for 5 minutes to place my order. After I placed my order I waited in the drive thru line for 12 minutes. When I finally got my order I asked the crew member why there was a long wait and I was told that they were short handed in the kitchen. No apology for the long wait. It's an okay McDonald's. Inside isn't the greatest, considering that it is in a gas station. The people are decent, they can be annoyed or friendly. The food is hit or miss, sometimes the order will be wrong or right. Make sure if you are in the drive through to check your food. Have had lots of experiences of messed up orders. This McDonalds is terrible. We have been here about a dozen times because it's the only place to stop on our way to see family. One visit out of those twelve, they actually got our order correct. We're not picky about our order either, with the exception of my son, who gets his burgers plain. One time they gave us an order that was intended for another car. I've never been to a McDonald's in Nigeria or India but I imagine it to be just like the one in Waterford. Not only was every square foot of the floor dirty and disgusting, but there was an alarming amount of flies in the restaurant. I went inside the restaurant to order 6 meals for 2 adults and 4 kids to go. I understand that's a relatively large order. Unfortunately, I didn't get everything I ordered . Also, I wanted it to go and it says "take out" on my receipt but when the food was given to me it was presented as if we intended to eat it there. The manager was on the floor yelling at another woman working the cash register, both were yelling at each other across the restaurant in spanish WHILE SHE WAS WAITING ON A CUSTOMER. I have never seen behavior like that in my life. I have on many occasions seen this same manager yelling at employees in spanish, and it is unacceptable. I swear I am going to learn spanish just to find out if she is cussing them out. I don't normally write reviews but something needs to be done about this store. Its not like we have the option to go somewhere else either. Once again the food was cold, my quarterpounder deluxe was not only cold but the bun was so dried out it was crunchy. I ordered 4 value meals and I had to go back and get the fries and ask for 4 cups. While waiting, a long time the manager was clearly upset and swearing about a couple machines not working (ice cream) one staff member actually showed the manager that the ice cream wasn't working by pouring a cup of it on to the floor behind the registers. She didn't clean it up and 10 minutes later she slipped in it. I was there just after 5pm on Saturday the 11th. Check your cameras. This store has a bad reputation and its a joke. Normally I like this McDonald's like the food is good and I get it fast. I went there with two of my friends and the employee in the drive through was making sassy comments when we handed her a $100 bill to pay for a $13 total and she was like "this isn't a fricken bank". I visited this McDonalds location on Tuesday night on my way home. It was about 9:00 pm I entered the drive thru and ordered two cheeseburgers with light catsup and light mustard. It took a few minutes which I understood because of the time of day. After waiting I was handed a bag with my food. I left the McDonalds and was driving to my home. I started to eat one of the cheeseburgers and i noticed that it had a strange taste. I opened it up and noticed a very excessive amount of keys up and to add insult it was covered with a excessive amount of mayonnaise. I threw it in the bag and checked the second one and it was dripping ketchup and mayonnaise. I returned to the McDonalds and complained and the manager on duty yelled at the person right out in the open and told that person to pay attention to what they were doing because cheeseburgers do not get mayonnaise put on them. A few minutes later he handed me a cheeseburger and said sorry about that. Not overly concerned for the customer. This McDonalds has terrible service. I live close by and have been there before but will no longer Return. I contacted McDonalds via e-mail and never got a follow up call. This place sucks. One time I came here and I ordered ONE thing: a Resees McFlurry. Seems like they should be able to handle that, right? Wrong. They gave me an Oreo one. Not to mention, before that when I first walked in, it took about 10 minutes for them to actually take my order. They weren't even busy. I was the only one there. The cashier was just standing around doing nothing even though I was standing at the register waiting. I come here quite often, and the playplace has NEVER been open. Most of the workers are rude, including the manager. They constantly let things beep and don't turn them off and it's very annoying to listen to. A couple of times, my food wasn't even fully cooked. It's kind of a 50/50 chance on whether you will get your fry container full halfway or all the way. The workers also often don't know what they're doing. There is a seat that has been broken for about a month and it has never been fixed. Instead they just leave an "out of order" sign on it. Often times workers are just standing around. Service: 0 stars. Food: 0 stars. Inside: 0 stars. If I could actually give this "restaurant" (I'd hardly call it a restaurant) 0 stars, I would. Absolutely horrible. read more
