I had a piece of shoe leather for a grilled chicken artisan sandwich. I asked for another and little better. Had a quarter pounder and it was marginally better. The manager was nice but food is just not measuring up. I think Wendy's does a better job. Hope the new store has a new outlook and better foods. I doubt it. The new building is fantastic and still fairly clean (only reason for two stars), but as I expected as soon as they started drastically cutting back on staff after the opening they fail to deliver. Drive-thru has returned to being extremely slow, on the inside even with putting in your own order they still cannot seem to get it right and service times are atrocious. Don't forget to always check your order as well as they are constantly getting items wrong (I got a mcchicken in a happy meal instead of a cheeseburger) or they are forgetting items all together. I would also like to point out their number system for their ordering kiosks is useless as when your order is ready they just set it at the counter most of the time. Sometimes they will call out the number, but the whole point of the number system is to have them bring it to you. I don't mind having to go get it as I don't see McDonald's as a restaurant where I have someone bring me my food, but maybe they need to change that on the kiosks as it says your food will be brought to you. On a side note that may be more of a personal preference, but they do not have ketchup readily available inside. There is no longer a dispenser at the drink station and the only way to get it is to go to the counter and ask. I do not like having to go up to the counter, be ignored for several minutes because nobody is there just to get ketchup. read more

This is my hometown mcdonalds. Best service since I was in diapers. They are open late. Very nice lady at the mic. Very nice line service for drive through. Girl with the broken arm was very sweet. Much better treatment than mcdonalds in fairfax, va. Love the small town feel. read more

If I could give this a place a negative one I would! The help is awful. The drive-thru regularly screws up the order and the wait is ridiculous. Terrible. Each time I come it's something else that they can't get right they have plenty of staff but the drive through takes wayyy to long to order two mc flurries. Then they get it wrong. All the kid could say was sorry. No options of getting the right one, no reasons as to why I got the wrong order. Utterly ridiculous. Food is what it is for price and fast food. Biggest complaint is their terrible customer service. Today we went to eat lunch and let kids play on playground inside since it is 90 degrees outside. The inside playroom is incredibly hot. When we asked the staff to turn on the A/C they responded that they have "no way to adjust it and it's done from a remote location.". I just left the store at 9:45 p.m. on a Friday night the lobby was closed went through the drive-through talk to the manager and ask him why is the Lobby closed he said he didn't have enough help and I said how come you don't have the buttermilk crispy tender chicken he said because they're all Frozen and have to thaw out for 24 hours and I said I ask for ice cream cone they said the ice cream machine is in the Melt mode and it goes into melt mode every night at 8:30, he said it was not his fault this store is a joke it needs to be tore down and they start over worst service I have ever seen in my lifetime out of McDonald's service is also really bad even if they have the products that you want I pray another McDonald's will open in Warrenton with different ownership read more

351 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186 (Restaurant # 1631): Most unorganized, chaotic, and poorly managed McDonald's restaurant ever! Took the staff and supervisor 23 minutes to finally get my order of (2) southwestern grilled chicken salads. Everyone kept forgetting to grill the chicken as they had NO clue who was supposed to do what; absolutely no structure. Staff even pulled my order no. off the display in progress 15 minutes before delivery of the salads. This is a newly rebuilt McDonald's building therefore I thought perhaps they would have changed management and offered improvements but evidently NOT! My compensation from management was coupons for (2) small fries. I will NEVER step into this facility again! read more

Had high hopes for the refurbishing of this location, along with newly hired and trained staff. But was not to be. Started off with a bang, with much enthusiasm and accuracy of orders, but has tailed off in the last few months since then. Much of the same problems continue to exist, likely because it looks like the same managers as before. The speed of service is hit or miss, as is the accuracy of the order. The simplest of things, such as making sure your small fry is in the bag, along with your single cheeseburger, is always a challenge. I can understand forgetting one item from a huge, complex order, but simple burger/fry orders? I can count at least 5 times in the past 6 months where I had to go back in to get something they'd left off. Even simple things like putting your "sauce" for a nugget order is 50/50 proposition. The drive thru lanes can be a challenge as well, with one more often than not with a cone in front of it. I will say there are a few of the staff that are always friendly and helpful, while others don't seem to have much experience in customer service at all. I still will go there when I need a quick soda, or a quick bite, but I really wish they'd spend just a bit more time training, updating procedures based on feedback and experience, and taking a little more pride and ownership in the franchise here. You don't have to work at McDonalds (or any fast paced, fast food store) but if you do, have a little pride and commitment. read more

Worst experience ever this morning. Ordered a biscuit with butter and a drink. When handed my food I asked if they put butter on the biscuit, the server at the drive thru window went away and came back and said yes. Before I left the parking lot I checked and the biscuit had never been opened but there were 3 things of butter in the bag. I parked and went inside and explained the issue with the manager standing nearby. When I explained that the server lied to me she simply turned around and walked away. After several minutes the manager asked for my order, when she got it she had to explain to the person in the back that she had to open the biscuit and put butter on it. I finally got the bag thinking it was correct. IN the car I took it out to take a bite as I pulled out of the parking space. NO butter. Parked again and went in with my drink and biscuit. I asked for a refund. During the ensuing conversation the manager lectured me that there is butter already on the biscuit, it is applied after they are removed from the oven. I said don't you think I understand how biscuits are baked and with a deadpan expression she said "I don't know, do you work for McDonalds?" She was adamant that they and applied butter. I said if there was butter on the biscuit it would turn yellow, she got the bottle of butter glaze they apply to the biscuits after baking them and held in front of my face, I thought she was going to throw it at me. I had asked for a refund upon entering the last time and had to repeat my request 4 times before she opened the register. When I asked her name she explained that she was not required to give me her name by company policy. She was not wearing a name tag and her uniform was sloppy and dirty. She never apologized! The service here has been this way for years. The wait is always longer than necessary for the drive through. I think part of that is due to the conveyer belt they use. It also does not help that English id not a large part of the staffs first language and they are not really able to communicate in a conversational way, only understanding a few phrases. My mistake is always thinking after a few months that it may have improved, never. My understanding is that the franchise owner has recently purchased the other McDonalds in the area (Opal) where the server was better. I expect that the service there will now mirror Broadview. Another reviewer said the owner should be ashamed and I agree. This McDonalds has been in this location for 30+ years and has gone down a very long and ugly decline. McDonalds Corporate should rally do something about this. I will not be back. I wish I could rate this as ZERO. read more

The owner ought to be ashamed. I went in on a wonderful Saturday afternoon of looking at Fall leaves. It wasn't even crowded. There were two registers open and I got into one line. The man took the customer's order ahead of me and started to fill it. I waited and waited for him to come back and take my order. Meanwhile the other cashier stood around waiting for other customers and ended up taking three more orders ahead of me without ever looking around to ask if I needed something. She was about to take the fourth customer ahead of me when I asked if the other clerk was coming back. She looked at me like she didn't understand. Then she looked at him and he just shook his head and said "I'm serving." That meant there were about six people "serving" and one cashier. So I told her she'd taken three people ahead if me and to take my order. She didn't apologize and she threw down on the counter my ten dollars change. Then, while waiting for my simple order, I went to fill my drink and use the restroom. The first two toilets to the right as you walk in the door had poop on the toilet. When I came out of the rest room I waited another five minutes for my order, and somehow that fourth customer, whose order was taken after mine, got her order first! I was livid. My mother owned and ran a McDonalds in NY for twenty years. Nothing close to my horrible experience would ever have occurred. Shame. McDonalds corporate knows there are terrible, slow, dirty restaurants out there and they seem to do nothing about it. read more
