Visited Vidor McDonald's on Wednesday April 22nd 2026 my large fry was supposed to be a large fry almost four freaking dollars for large fry when I got my large fry that went with my fish meal my large fry was not even as big as my husband's medium fry I brought it to the girls attention she was very nice and sorry about it, she was going to bring me more fries to put in the large fry. The manager came over and she was not very nice she was kind of rude at first but I put her in her place and told her to listen I used to manage a McDonald's somewhere else and this would not go where I worked at you do not do this to your customers if they pay for $4 for large fry they should get $4 worth of fries not $4 for medium fry in a large container whenever it's supposed to be a large fry in a large container and her reply was well just give it to me me I'll give you another one I said no,the young lady right here already took care of it you don't have to do nothing and she's all apologetic well I'm sorry I'm sorry I said well I'll tell you what somebody needs to come down and check this store out because this ain't the first Miss halp I've had here this place is not good there bathrooms are nasty your other help seems good but I told your fry guy how to make a correct large order of fries and she says well we were told to fluff not stuff I said well it would be the last time you get my order I will go to Burger King I expect to get my moneys worth have a blessed daybye eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee read more

They left one item off that we had paid for. I had ordered a big breakfast, they did not include the knife and fork. I went back to correct the mistake, the manager fixed it, never apologized once. I decided to order 4 coffees. It took 15 minutes to get the coffees. read more

Sooo dirty! The bathrooms were filthy and the toilets all stopped up. Fries were undercooked...just gross and would never go back.

It's a normal McDonald's, it's what you expect from one, the customer service is good, but the iced coffee was too dark. It's classic fast food, not the best food you can find but if you're craving an Egg McMuffin this is the place to go. read more

Drinks given immediately while stood there waiting for food. Waited another 20 minutes for food. Even ordered food on the app which is supposed to be quicker. Went inside not the drive through. Asked for fresh drinks when finally got food as they were watered down already. Was told no, She laughed and walked away. read more

I stopped in here on a recent Sunday while driving from Houston to Lake Charles to grab a McCup of McCoffee - I was really taken back of how busy this place was considering it seems almost everyone that has reviewed this location hates it. The dual drive through line I must admit was painful, most of the customers were on their phones not paying attention leaving large gaps between the cars and prevent the next car in line from placing their order - so rude most were probably the same people that hate this place so much but continues returning. I finally made it to the kiosks and ordered my large hot coffee, the attendant was friendly and competent - now my challenge was to play "frogger" with the distracted line of customers whom I watched struggle to form a single line. Finally I'm at the window face to face with the lovely young lady that took my order - she handed me the product and I told her I needed no receipt and that she could round up the total and keep the difference. The coffee was fresh and tasty and I was on my way, I know this is merely a snap shot of what goes on here but after witnessing the shenanigans of the customers here I'd say the issues doesn't alway lie with the employees here... read more

Went for breakfast,packed in the mornings. Ordered French frys with my breakfast meal . Well got what appeared to be old dry French frys. I asked for them to make the frys fresh and i was told in a rude manner by what appeared to be someone in upper management "we don't cook frys in the mornings,they are fresh." However they were dark brown and not good what so ever. I would have just taken a hash brown if i would have known. Now I also went at 1 am a week ago and was told they couldn't serve me because the fire inspector was doing a inspection at 1am. I told the lady at the speaker I would wait for the fire inspector the finish and then place my order. The lady then said I could not sit and wait in her drive threw for them to re open. The food doesn't rot. It's really bad for you. Make homemade burgers or go to a restaurant that doesn't sell fast food. If you're going to eat here get one of the salads. read more

Ordered bacon egg mcmuffin was told there was no such thing but they would make it anyways. Then when I got it cheese was not melted and it was cold. Really tired of Cafe drink machine being down also. read more

The location is nice since they rebuilt it. The only downside is the staff dont know how to listen to your order. Plus the drive thru is 1 lane and then splits to 2 at a certain point. Which makes it hard when you have been waiting and people cut and make a whole new lane cause they are impatient. read more

Can we give negative stars? Like -5 stars? If I could, I would. Unfortunately I live in this nasty town with this nasty McDonalds. It was scheduled for remodel in 05 but postponed due to hurricane Rita. Mismatched chairs, paint peeling, worn out tables, mold growing in chair legs. Nasty sidewalk, smelly play yard, smelly old everywhere. I refuse to patronize this place and have called McDonald's corporate numerous times. I end up getting a call from local manager who agrees the conditions are deplorable, and keeps saying the remodel has been postponed. Well so has my patronage! Postponed! read more

I usually have an OK experience here, and the staff have always been nice. BUT, something is VERY wrong with their soft serve, and it's not every day. Mostly, its firm, stark white and VERY creamy however, several times recently it has been yellow in color, full of ice crystals and crunchy and ABSOLUTELY disgusting. Doesn't even hold it's shape. It actually tastes like ice cream that has thawed and then re frozen - I don't think (hope not) they do this BUT I'd certainly not trust inconsistent dairy products. It's not just at Vidor, I've come across this at other stores nationwide. read more
