so on the app i can order extra lettuce you go at 10 o'clock at night an hour before close and they can't give me extra lettuce through the drive-thru they were disrespectful and rude. Food and service are fine. However, they claim the restaurant is open until midnight but close most of the dining room around 9:15 PM. You can try stepping around the makeshift sandwich board barricade and run the risk that one of the hardened employees might bitch at you. I can not recall the last time I was in a McDonalds. Stopped by McDonald's as my daughter had to try the BTS Meal which came out today, May 26th. This McDonalds is along Main Street in a busy retail commercial area with plenty of pedestrian traffic. There is metered street parking and free parking a few blocks off Main. This is a small McDonalds and they recently opened up again for dine in service with limited seating as it was take out only during the COVID restrictions. We opted for take out. The BTS meal is 10 piece chicken nuggets, medium fries, drink and two popular Korean dipping sauces: Cajun and Sweet Chilli. Pretty standard McD fare...but I did like the cajun mayo dipping sauce for dipping fries and the nuggets. At $10.99 it was okay value for the meal and met my daughters expectations. read more

Pretty fast service at this location. The automatic wheelchair door button doesn't work when exiting though. Hasn't been fixed. Not for over a month at least. Incoming the button works though. Not sure how helpful that is if handicapped customer can get in but can't leave without some able-bodied person to assist them. read more

Came here for a McCafe. Parking is available along Main, as well as the side streets. The interior seating is decent, though the booths are pretty beaten up, and could use a cleaning. Not sure if this was a one-off, but one thing my buddy and I noticed upon receiving our coffees (at this location) is that if you don't order whipped cream on top, they only fill your coffee to the 80-85% mark, leaving a huge gap. This is unacceptable. All other locations I've been to so far will fill your cup to a much more reasonable 95%. Maybe I'm being nitpicky, but I would equate this to a bar watering down your drink. The staff was apologetic and immediately topped up our drinks. While there were no other issues, I'm just disappointed that it had to come to this. read more

This McDonald's is right on schedule with banning all indigenous patrons from its restaurant. I've complained to the management and staff numerous times about cleanliness and incorrect orders. I always have good memories of this McDonald. Grew up in the neighbourhood and I remember how the McDonald used to take up the whole block to what is now 1/10th of the size. My grandma loves hanging around at this McDonald and it's known for one with lots of retirees. I still come here once in awhile. Say I need to look for my grandparents at 3pm and she is not home. This is the place to go. There place is clean and burger and sandwich very standard compared to other McDonald. Coffee better then some. At least it's not so watered down. Not much to say but this is a classic McDonalds with an all day breakfast. It's been great ever since they introduced that since there is no longer any rush to make it to McD by 11am. Well it's McDonalds. Pretty much the same wherever you are in the world. Sometimes I'll pop in either just before they close at 1am to grab a tiny cheeseburger and fries or at 7am for a bacon and egg McMuffin and coffee after after an evening of libations. The common denominator here is: alcohol. I am a firm believer that McDonald's is only appropriate when drunk or hung over, so I'm generally surprised when I see lines here mid day. Seriously what are you thinking people? Sometimes my fries are lukewarm and sometimes my cheeseburgers are squished, so consistent quality is lacking. What this particular location does have going for it is an excellent air filtration system which means it doesn't smell like McDonalds directly outside. read more

How the F can you forget the ham in an ham and egg McMuffin? How can you serve hot cakes that are cold? I don't mean cold as in warm, I mean cold as in it was just taken out of the fridge and tastes like starch. The coffee tasted like bitter water. I'm not exaggerating, it really tasted like water. Also put the feta tomato wrap in upside down, causing everything to almost fall out. There was not a huge lineup or any special circumstances. We've been to this McDonalds before, and when the manager is there they've done a great job. When the manager isn't there, there are zero standards. I'm Lovin' It!! And you'll love it, too, if you enjoy eating a lot of Big Macs, Egg McMuffins, and getting service from the staff of young kids, who all seem like they are trying to outcompete each other for employee of the month. This McDonald's is great if you have kids because it allows you to actually bring your kids inside the restaurant--no more making them wait in the car, moms and dads!! All in all, I like this McDonald's because, each time I order a salad, someone will always offer to toss it for me, but I politely decline, just the same. Today (09/30/2013 12:15 pm) I went to the 4445 Main St Van McDonald. I ordered a medium coffee with one cream 2 milk cos I need to cut down the cream in coffee. I've got my coffee and found it was cold. When I lined up again to talk to the front desk staff, she started to yell loudly that I was asking too much. The new face manager stood beside her and he didn't say a word. It was a very bad experience but I will go there again cos this is the one located close to my house. What a shame. This is the best McDonald's in Vancouver. The ladies running this place at breakfast should be running the city! They are so efficient and friendly that I'm always jolted out of my morning stupor. If you are late for work, but still desperate for something to eat, then stop here. They will have breakfast in your hand in under 10 seconds, with a smile on top. read more

Out of all the McDonald's in Vancouver, this is hands down the WORST. When I first stepped in the restaurant, "or so they call', I immediately felt disgusted. The sticky floors made fries stick to the bottom of my sole, ketchup smeared all over the tables and seats, the bathrooms were just outright hell, and water came out of the ice vending machine. When I tried eating a quarter pounder, that I asked for 30 minutes ago, it came with pickles, which I strictly said not to have, and the meat was still raw, and after I spit out this junk, I turned to the "world famous fries" only to see a clump of hair. I tried to finish off with the coffee that they provided for me for free because of the raw meat and the slow service, and to no surprise, it was watered down, too much sugar, and room temperature. Finally i had enough of this madness, so before I left, I went to the washroom to wash my hands. It turns out that this McDonald's doesn't even soap in the machine, and there was a woman throwing up in the bathroom stall, probably because of the raw meat. So there you have it. This is my favourite Scottish restaurant. Upon walking in, I saw a few Caucasian people mixed in with the clientele so I knew I made the right choice and that it would be an authentic experience. I have been going back somewhat regularly as it is within walking distance from my house. Good value. I like to go there after drinking. I like the seniors that hang out for coffee in the morning. Good frozen desserts in the hot summer. We get coupons in the mail but can't really use them because of the "same sandwich" rule (whereby you can only get a 2-for-1 IF you get the SAME sandwich and my companion and I have different tastes and I can't eat more than one) and also I don't drink soda pop because I am trying to eat healthy so the combos are not a good value even with the coupons. I think the breakfast sandwiches are healthy if you can avoid the sausage. A few other cons: once I got a large fries to go but the container was only about 2/3 full. I could've gone back, or written in by mail or on line to complain. Sometimes you get free stuff when you do that. One time I bought some toilet paper but one of the rolls was more narrow than the others. It was really weird and thought it would be strange to use it. So I wrote in to Scott paper and they sent me a coupon for a free package of TP. Anyway I didn't really bother with following up about the fries and forgot about it til now. Also, it is impossible to order a coffee with just a little bit of cream (like a teaspoon) no matter how specific I am when ordering. They always end up putting in way too much. BTW the 'Bucks also does this in their drive thru service so I have to park my car and get out to order to I can fix my own coffee. But hey, what are you going to do? read more
