I never thought I'd leave a review for McDonalds, but here we go... This location is the worst. They have zero professionalism, and hire anyone willing to put the uniform on. I refuse to even walk inside anymore, and just go through the drive through. The one time I tried to order with the app, I was ridiculed for it. Today the girl working the drive through had nails so long she couldn't close her hands and dropped my debit card out the window. Racist staff. If your not black they treat you like crazy. 2 days straight I've went there because it is close to my home. So, they forgot my mcmuffin both days. Then wouldn't even give it to me. They put a $40 breakfast order in one bag, sandwiches all on their side with ingredients falling off. I asked for another bag to separate the food and I got told that they can't do that by the manager. Told me I need to start going to the "White McDonald's ".... very Racist and unprofessional. This Mcdonalds doesn't even deserve 1 star. A horribly managed place with horrible staff. I ordered 2 coffees and waited 20 minutes and ended up leaving without the coffee. Can you beIieve it? They failed miserably at an order consisting of 2 cups of coffee!! When I inquired about the wait to the manager, she pushed off the task on the cashier who was nowhere in sight. They weren't even busy! They walked passed us numerous times ignoring us. I read the yelp reviews and saw the stellar 2.5 rating after the fact. The person taking your order, the person taking your money, and the person giving your food had zero customer service skills. No one should have to wait in the drive thru for 40 minutes to get their order. The employees all look like teenagers. Is there even a manager on site? I would've left after 15 minutes, but I had already paid for my food. Don't these employees know gas prices have gone up? This isn't the first time I've waited for my food. I was denied service at this location because I asked about the current masking policy. The manager was immediately annoyed with my question. At that time I had put on my mask. He told me that they didn't have to mask anymore at his location. At the same time he put one on and when I got to the window all of his staff seemed to be wearing them. He was rude and was angry at that time and told the cashier to cancel my order and he told me to leave. Now I was annoyed at that point and I asked him who the store manager was and he said it was him. Then I asked him what his name was and he refused to give it to me. Then I asked what the store location number was (24878) and he refused that information as, well. There's much more to this experience and had today and I'll give the owner operator (Joel Schmidt) an opportunity to address my concerns. This has to possibly be the worst McDonalds I have ever came. I have came to Yelp thinking that other people have been having the same experience as mine which isn't the case, so I am here to say "heed my warning". I also need to inform the viewer that this is the closest McDonalds without having to drive through 2 towns, therefore my complaint has expanded over time now. I go for breakfast, and everyday my breakfast is wrong. Wether it be they forgot my egg on my sausage egg and cheese, or even the cheese (just the two main ingredients on the sandwich)..... They or I just can't seem to win. I understand that this isn't just the managers fault but the fault of the staff. I have gone in there every day this week to get the same breakfast. Only to find out I need to march back in there to have it replaced. EVERYDAY. I now have made it a game with my boyfriend , " is our food right or nah?" Today was my last straw. We went, got our usual breakfast (sausage, egg and cheese bis. add bacon and a sausage gravy) we play our little game and to our surprise it was made right until I realized there was no egg on the sandwich...Egg! My boyfriend goes back inside to have his sandwich replaced and the girl behind the counter sent the sandwich (that's already left the store) back to have egg put on it. If anyone has ever worked in the food industry knows that is a big no no. You replace the whole meal once it has left the store. So, he requests that he has a new one made. Prior to our last and final visit to this McDonalds, our other visits should have resulted in our names being taken down and sent to corporate for coupons. Now I'm not out to get free food, I have enough money for food, it's just the simple thing as to making my food right.... Maybe not every time, but most of the time. It should never be wrong every time. I have done my research only to find that others have too complained about this same McDonalds, but ironically it was because someone else was complaining. And instead of , " replacing the persons meal they continued to drag out the issue for 15 minutes, making the growing crowd restless." Worst one in Dayton. Can't ever get a order right and then wanna act as if it's your fault... I was in one day to have my order fixed and this other women came in and asked if she could get her cup because she was told she had to make her own drink because she wanted half tea and have lemonade. This is the absolute worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Yesterday I went there on my way to work. I was in there 5 minutes, 2 managers and 2 associates as the runners and no one acknowledged me. Then once there was 3 people in line then that's when one of the associates started taking orders. Anytime you go into this place although it says fast food you're going to wait at least 10 minutes or more for your food and your fries are still going to be cold and nasty unless you tell them you want them without salt which is another 10 minutes who has that type of time to waste at McDonald's? Don't get me started on the the drive-thru. At least a 30 minutes wait. Period! This place really deserve 2 negative stars I'm just saying!!! read more

No stars for Trotwood McDonald's!!! I live in Trotwood and I prefer to shop in Trotwood, however the McDonald's in Trotwood is not clean and without fail things don't operate properly such as your ice cream machine. Apparently there are never enough people to work because the line of cars in most cases are 8 to 10 cars deep and I watched several of them leave the line including my own. I am certain that McDonald's in Trotwood should start over from customer service to sirius employees about making a difference. I am unable to give it 1 star. The cashier was cleaning the lobby, running the register, then started opening French fry boxes all with her bare hands. I ordered a large French Fry. Here is what I saw as I observed. None of the food preparers were wearing any hair nets or gloves. I saw 1 young man stuff the small bags of fries so full the bags could split wide open. When I got home to share my fries (large) with my roommate, there wasn't even a handful of fries in the box. The bottom was pushed up into the container, making it look like the fries were on the outer edge of the box, in reality there wasn't even half a box. My roommate decided not to eat any of my large fries, because there just wasn't enough. Normally if I am going to a McDonalds I order a small just for myself and usually can't eat them all. I will never go in this McDonalds again that's for sure. I was there today Wednesday 9/18/19 @ 730pm. The lobby was empty, and I was the only one ordering at the counter. This is really the first time I stood and observed the actions of the food preparers. I've learned my lesson. From now on when I go into a fast food restaurant I am going to observe everything just like I did this evening. It was awful. I can't even give 1 star for anything! read more

The last two weekends I went to this McDonalds for breakfast early Saturday morning on my way to Lowes. The first weekend I sat in the drive thru line so long that 4 cars in front of me got out of line and drove off. A truck that was half-way past the speaker (so I know he had already placed an order) also got out of line. I finally parked and went inside. Once I got inside, I saw why they were so slow. The cook at the grill and the two girls who were waiting on the food to put into bags were having a good ole time! One of the girls literally got out her cell phone and was doing something on it and the other girl was looking for her cell phone. Like out loud saying "Where's my cell phone?" Really??? You shouldn't even have your phone on you while you are working. And while I was standing there they discussed what they do with food that isn't picked up (which was the food that they truck driver ordered and then drove away). When I FINALLY got my food, I went to my car and realized that they didn't give me my orange juice. I went back in and the manager nonchalantly walked up and asked me what I needed. When she gave me my juice, that they forgot, she just placed it on the counter with no kind of sorry or anything and walked away. Ugh. So I went back the following weekend, thinking this was a fluke, the exact same thing happened at the drive thru...people pulling out of line! I didn't bother going in this time and drove across the street to Burger King. Much better service!!! read more
