Attended the NHRA Great Lakes Nationals / unofficial parking lot mud bog competition at US 131 Motorsports Park. Unfortunately, I entered the mud bog portion of the event with my car. The grass parking lot was VERY saturated from all the rain. Nobody's fault. When Mother Nature dumps that much water, there's only so much you can do. So, I abandoned my car where it was stuck (it was out of the way of others) and went into the track. Figured I'd enjoy the racing and deal with my little parking-lot adventure afterward. I figured I was probably looking at a $200-$300 tow bill to get myself out. **My fault. My mistake. My credit card's problem.** Near the end of the racing, there was a bit of a break, so I walked back out to the car to replenish my water. I noticed McDonald's Towing pulling another car out just a short distance from mine. I talked to the driver (unfortunately, I didn't get his name), and he said he'd come over and help me as soon as he finished with the other car. Sure enough, he and his helper came right over. A few minutes later, my car was out of the mud and back on solid ground. Then came the part I wasn't expecting. He said: **"No charge."** **WHAT?!** No charge?! **In 2026?!** I actually had to make sure I heard him correctly. I was fully prepared to hand over a couple hundred bucks for my brilliant decision to park in what had apparently become a recreational mud pit. But nope. Nothing. **McDonald's Towing & Rescue, Inc. is officially #1 in my book!** Great service, great people, and apparently they haven't completely forgotten that sometimes you just help somebody out. **Thank you, guys! I really appreciate it. You definitely made my day, and saved my wallet!** read more

McDonald's Towing - Roadside Assistance Near Me - Kalamazoo, Michigan

Towed a car that has a handicapped plackard and won't bring it back. Now charging over 400.00 to get it back!!!

WORST experience and inefficient operations I've EVER SEEN!!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would! We go to a location we're told to so that we can pick up our plate. We're then told to go to a SEPARATE location 20 min away, we get there CANNOT figure out what to do. Call the towing and told we need to wait 20 min to get let in. We sat for over an hour in the car waiting, called multiple times and told we could not have an eta, and all we needed was our plate off of our total vehicle!! This experience was absolutely insane and I will NEVER use this towing service again. read more

McDonald's Towing - UPDATEEE STILL WAITING!!!! Over an hr and a half - Roadside Assistance Near Me - Kalamazoo, Michigan

Our tire blew out today on I-94 by Kalamazoo, MI. McDonald's Towing was able to quickly send out a flatbed tow truck to move our car to Belle Tires. Their driver William was awesome! He was very positive, friendly and efficient and their dispatcher was also great to deal with. read more

geuinely have been waiting (so. far) for 3 hours when they said less than 1.5 we will see if they ever show up! Update! The tow truck was sent away with no notification until we called after 3 hours of waiting. They "sent" a new one, with a wait time of 30-60 minutes. once we left to run home for essential medicine for my sister, they showed up 5 minutes later. When we called to say we couldn't be back before 15 minutes, they just hung up. Then we got there and they weren't there. A ton of negligence and incompetence in management I guess read more

this towing company towed my car from my apartment complex, parking lot and cited "it was not parked in guest parking" My parking lot does not have any defined guest parking areas, and I had a visitor's tag in my window hanging from my mirror while the vehicle was parked in front of my residence. read more

To begin, my moped (not car or truck) was stolen and then recovered by the cops. I received a call from the police saying that I had to contact McDonalds to get my moped back. I give them a call and I was met with an extremely rude person on the other end of the phone demanding that I pay almost 400 dollars to get my Moped back that was recovered the night before. It is absolutely criminal for a person who had a vehicle stolen from them to have to pay anything for them to get their vehicle back, let alone nearly 400 dollars. I can't believe that tow companies try to take advantage of people with these insane prices. ESPECIALLY since it was recovered in a lot FIVE MINUTES away from their office. Absolutely ridiculous, I implore you to find ANY other towing company. Awful experience. read more

Tow service was called to the scene of an accident that occurred on I-94 in Kalamazoo County. The next day, I called and requested to go into my personal vehicle, in order to remove personal items. The office person friendly, but it took over 1-hour of waiting to have access to my car. Evidently it was moved from the main lot by the office to another lot, due to storage issues...but over 1-hr wait? The office kept on telling me that it would be only 10-minutes, then later 20-minutes and a tow driver was bringing it over. When asked why there was such a delay, the office responded, "the driver got caught up with customers." WTF! What do you think I am.. read more

Some time ago, my van was stolen and he subsequently ran over and killed a mother of three at Continental in Kalamazoo, MI. McDonald's picked the van up and held it for over two years while the case when through the system. They wanted thousands of dollars to get the van back. I refused to pay and they kept it longer. I finally agreed to pay $500 to get the van back but because of the horrific tragedy of the mother getting killed, I could not drive it. I had a very distant nephew that said he scrapped the van and showed me a picture of the alleged van being scraped. Being a professional criminal, he get the van, changed the color of a door and drove it for years! read more

Worst towing company in history. They have horrible customer service. They also will damage your vehicle. I do not recommend this company for anything. read more

Brought gas and some snacks spending over a 100.00 at speedway on springle Rd we parked way out on the corner and left the premises came back later and my truck was towed evedently they have a contract with McDonald's towing. They police the parking lot like a predator checking if your vehicle has moved anyhow they towed 17 vehicle in about 2to3 hours. They charged me 279.00 to tow my vehicle 2miles and they wouldn't take a credit card to get it out, who carries that much cash anyway we called our son who had extra cash and then they gave us the third degree we had left my wife's purse in the truck with some cash in it so they let me have the key to go get it but they parked a tow truck behind me so wouldn't take off. What a bunch of crooks read more

Instead of towing vehicle 3 miles, to the nearest Belle Tire, the driver towed it ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE CITY. Multiple attempts to get the invoice corrected have gone ignored. This is equivalent to theft. At least I paid with credit card and I am disputing the charges so this weasel company won't get paid. What sort of thieving degenerate runs a business like this? read more

If I could, I would give them zero star.I recently had an horrible experience with McDonald's Towing. The staff's behavior was not only unprofessional, but also remarkably rude and disrespectful. Instead of addressing my concerns with courtesy and respect, I was met with dismissive attitudes and a lack of basic customer service skills. They also told me they would take AAA at my accident, then when I called they said they don't do AAA. This company does not values its customers at all. I hope they take this feedback seriously instead of being in an holiday parade. read more

My buddy's car got towed unfortunately due to him parking in a non-guest designated car. The process was tedious, we had to pay at one location and pick the car up at another. I was helping him through the process and it took us a solid 2 hours to get things done. However, I'd like to give credit to all the people we met throughout our experience. I'd like to mention the lady at the service desk for the ability to deal with frustrated costumers which comes due the nature of the work they do. She was helpful and calm throughout our conversation. I'd also like to mention Justin who was handling unlocking the Lot's gate for us. He was very professional and friendly and quite frankly a great person to talk to. He was able to relate to the frustration position we come from. I'd give Justin 5 stars for his great costumer service. Overall 2.5 stars Service 5 - Mainly because of Justin (Towing Supervisor) Process 1 stars Cost 1 stars read more

Bandits... $400 paid for canceled tow that they still towed. And not even a seat for us handicapped to sit and wait for Lyft ! How nice!?

Thank you Bruce and Co. Good doing business with you, came early, charged what they said.

If I could give a negative rating I would, I was in an accident May 22 2023 and went to get my car May 23 2023 where they harassed me as to why I wanted to get possessions out of my car firstly and then when I went to pay the $205 that they had stated on the phone for the payment to get my car out of the lot since my vehicle was drivable out of the lot instead they charged me an extra $30 for a "gate fee" even though they said if I was able to drive my car out of the gate there would be no extra fee. On top of that there was not supposed to be a towing fee since I did not request the towing. Yet I was charged a $145 towing fee. I had to wait over an hour and a half in 80 degree weather when I'm 7 months pregnant to get the gate unlocked to be able yo get my vehicle. The service is terrible, management is extremely unprofessional and rude to put it in the slight. I would not recommend this towing company for anyone even if you have the upmost respect and patience for there business. Better off taking a ticket from the cops for not being able to move your vehicle. I hope to NEVER be in the presence of ANYONE who works there again. They are all extremely entitled and unprofessional. read more

When I needed to be towed and asked around who was recommended in Kalamazoo, there was only one answer- McDonald's. Bryan was an expert, he managed to maneuver my car out of a precarious situation without causing any further damage- I am still in awe. read more

This is probably the WORST place I have ever been. The company towed my car illegally from a handicap space and then charged me $260 to retrieve my car. Today is a very unpleasant day. The service of @Mcdonalds towing & rescue is too bad.I hope everyone feels the same and can support it a lot. I also hope the leaders of this company can see it. Make improvements to your company. First of all, kalamazoo is very cold today. It took more than an hour to pick up the car in the warehouse and called the customer service many times. Every time I say about 10 minutes. I made 3 calls throughout the hour. Every time I have a telephone recording. During the last call, the operator hung up my call. I am very dissatisfied with such service. The distance from the office to the warehouse was less than 6 miles, and it took more than an hour. I hope this company will give me a reasonable answer. I have all phone records to prove that what I said is true. read more

My vehicle was towed illegally from my complex. The "spotter" somehow missed my parking sticker. Customer service was rude and hung up on me. After realizing that there was no way I was paying them to get my vehicle back, they finally relented. They took their sweet time releasing my vehicle. Predatory company. read more

Had vehicle towed Sunday night 06/16/2024 because of a weather related incident. I filed my claim that night. I called my insurance on Monday morning first thing and we did a three way call because they said they just needed me to give a verbal release over the phone. I gave the release and thought that was the end. I got a call on Tuesday from my insurance that McDonald's had turned away the person sent by my insurance telling them that I needed to come into the shop in person with $123 in cash, my license, and registration before they would release the car. I had my insurance call them again and they would not budge. I don't have the money or a way of getting there until Thursday morning which by that time they told my agent it would be $150 in cash (insurance said they would reimburse me). Why would I have to give you a verbal release on Monday if it didn't matter? Why would you not mention that the conditions would change for still some unknown reason after I gave a verbal release on Monday? Making it more difficult for people already not having the best of circumstances is predatory and malicious. The multiple agents I talked to said that the majority of shops just need a verbal release over the phone and would allow for payments over the phone. But you need someone who already doesn't have a vehicle to come into the shop in person and pay cash?? I hope your business fails or for some crazy reason you start trying to run a business using human decency and a pinch of ethics. read more

WAITING OVER TWO HOURS FOR AAA to come out. They originally told me "45 minutes - before 8pm." It's after 9pm now. Maybe I should have lied and said that I was not in a safe location. Why do they even give out a time? If they have absolutely no idea when (or if) the towing company is coming, why bother? Just say, "we hope to get to you. Eventually. We have absolutely NO IDEA when, but we will do our best." Or, Why not contact me and update me that "the original ETA has been delayed due to..." Shameful. Terrible service. Doesn't anyone, anywhere, take pride in their job or reputation anymore? Probably busy with a lucrative city contract - towing parking violations and DUIs. Ok - I upgraded to 3 stars from one because the guy who finally showed up was nice and went above and beyond to get a spare tire on for me (the lug was frozen) read more

Blew the clutch in my 13 mustang gt. Tustin was 100% the best tow driver i've ever had. Its on aftermarket suspension making it low to the ground and hard to tow. He was super cautious and careful. Let me know he was taking his time so he didn't damage any part of the vehicle. Even going the extra mile to make sure the front didn't scrape by throwing wood under the wheel though it had clearance. Super cool guy, very considerate and perfect example of due diligence. read more

Is there any way to get an investigative report on McDonald's towing. I've noticed that their review on Google is only it 2.1 out of 4.  Recently on Father's Day my fiancee's car needed towing for it being unable to start.  Many of the other towing services were shut down for the Father's Day holiday. Now my fiance is car has all kinds of damage  Including oil pan.  Upon reading reviews I would say 75% to 90% are negative. Being that they have worked on and with police and fire department vehicles in the past I'm wondering if they are protected read more

Have to say my experience with McDonalds is comical, disappointing, and utterly ridiculous! Called for a tow at 11:16, through Progressive...said it would be 90 minutes. At 1:04 I call them and they say it will be another 45 minutes to an hour...in the meantime progressive has called twice to see if they have come....nothing. At 3:26 progressive switched me to Graham's towing who I received a call from and said they would be there in 30 minutes. Funny thing, the clowns at McDonalds call me at 3:50 saying they are on their way! Wow great service!! Over 4 and a half hours! That's awesome....needless to say Graham's Towing was in and out in half hour. Nothing else to say! read more

We use McDonald's Towing regularly. They may be slow at times, but they get the job done. I've never had a customer service rep get angry or short with me. I use them approximately twice a month for towing dumped cars. Listen up people, they'll treat you like you treat them. If the roads are bad, they are busy. Absolute horrendous customer service. You have to go to their main office on Interstate where they only accept cash, and you must have the exact change. We waited 20 minutes called again and were told he was on his way and would be there in a few. 15 minutes. We called again and she said "listen, he'll be there when he gets there". Worst towing co I have ever dealt with. Where you pay isn't where you get your car. U hv to drive 7 miles and then wait 20 mins to get access to your car. Plus pay exact amt by cash as they won't give u change back. Terrible operation read more

Customer service was poor and slow. Most time waiting was spent watching personnel in the office do other tasks, such as answering a phone. Location does not have an ATM on site. This is important as their window has 2 conflicting signs: Cash only and cards accepted. The waiting area was way too small and offered no seating. No restrooms available. Once paid for, you are told to drive to another location and wait for someone to let you in to that location/yard. Seemed pretty inconvenient overall. read more
