It also seems the place to watch live sports over a drink and a burger with tv screens on each corner of the restaurant yet it is still very family friendly and service has always been impeccable. In my honest opinion I do believe they serve some of the best American dishes around and can even compete with some of London's favourite diners. Wild wings (cajun) x6 Incredibly moreish and can see myself finishing a higher quantity bucket load. The wing sizes were quite average but very succulent and meaty inside. The cajun spices gave it a nice sweet paprika garlicky flavour and latched on well on the crispy skins of the wing showing that they were well fried, Sloppy Joes Ticked all the boxes for a fantastic burger. First that lovely pillow soft brioche bun, slightly charred so it came warm. Then came the rich tender minced beef fried with onions and peppers in there to give it some texture and boost of flavour. The sauce it came with was generous, with lovely rich sweet and and savoury notes keeping everything moist and juicy throughout. Finished off nicely with a fine slice of cheese, melted perfectly to intensify the umami flavours. Full rack ribs A delicious slab of ribs, keeping its meaty texture and flavours which suggest it was slow cooked the full length of time to tenderise and soften the meat. There was no pre cooking the ribs beforehand here. This allowed the rich BBQ coca cola sauce to penetrate through to the bone whilst reducing in liquid to create a rich and sticky coating around the ribs keeping everythign moist and juicy. A nice light creamy coleslaw on the side to cool things off. Curly fries These were perfectly fried. It had that moreish fluffy inside and crispy outside that was coated in the sweet mild spices which you find collapsing on itself as you chew, sending the rush of flavour through each mouthful. I say mouthful as who just pops one in their mouth per bite, not if they are this good. Chilli fries Not the spicy chilli as I imagined but chilli consisting of a wonderful well flavoured mix of red kidney beans, onions and red peppers in a lovely thick tomato slurry that helped bind the sauce and flavours on each and every chip. Drizzled with sour cream to add a lovely creamy consistency. Very wholesome dish. Sloppy suits every occassion whether it's your quick lunch or a celebration feast. Food has always been fantastic and paired with that is it's lovely bright and spacious atmosphere. Those who can eat a lot like me should definitely go for one of their food challenges. try their Sloppy Joes challenge and knock me down the top of the chart if you can.

I was thrilled when the fries arrived: I didn't realize they were the shoestring type, which are my favorite. And they were nicely cooked; crispy on the outside, but still fleshy on the inside. Many placed overcook this type of french fry and you end up with just a crisp instead of a chip. The burger was good. After picking it up, I realized I could never bite it without making a huge mess, so I took one of the patties off to eat last. The burger had good flavor, but the patties were more medium well instead of medium: they advertise that medium will have a little pink, but mine had no pink at all. I was very glad I didn't order the medium well, or it may have been overdone. The bacon was nice and crispy, but still tender: I didn't have to worry about taking a bite and pulling the entire piece of bacon out of the sandwich because you can't bite through it. The cheddar cheese was an unexpectedly nice touch. Back in the US, our standard cheese for burgers is American...mostly because it melts so well. But American cheese doesn't have much flavor on its own. This cheddar looked more like a cheese sauce because it melted completely, but the sharp, dry taste of the cheese contrasted nicely to the sweetness of the bacon. The pickles were not quite dill but also not quite sweet pickles: they were somewhere in between. I almost asked for more just to give them a taste on their own because I enjoyed them so much. The staff were wonderful; both of the servers I interacted with were fun, informative, and very helpful. As a tip to those who travel around the UK: I noticed there were cards on every table with the Jack of Diamonds. When I asked why, the staff told me that each location has a different playing card. If you visit all the locations and collect a full deck, then you get treats from Byron. Apparently there have only been a couple of people to successfully complete the deck, but it would be an interesting challenge!
