A young man named Carlos graciously helped me. When is asked about the sauce packets being included in the order, he informed me that they were out of the bbq sauce and apologized. Road trip and got a little hungry. Stopped here and all I can say is never again. The dining area was completely closed, not even intermittently closed booths, but just completely closed. Everything was takeout only. Okay, I get there's a pandemic, but most places I've been to were/are only limiting the total seating capacity or which tables can be used. My dad told me this McDonald's has the best hamburgers in town. His reasoning is because this McDonald's always has a long line. I admit he's also biased because one of his old friends/acquaintances used to own this McDonald's franchise for a long time. This is McDonald's restaurant #12708. We went out of our way, driving past one McDonald's in my hometown of High Point, just to come to this McDonald's to pick up lunch for the family. We visited on a Sunday around 12:45pm and the line for the drive-thru was long, almost extending into the street. We decided to park and go inside. It was busy inside too, but it wasn't completely slammed. We had a short wait. Ordering for a mixture of adults and kids, we ended up with three Big Macs, two Quarter Pounders, two Bacon SmokeHouse Burgers, four large French Fries, and two 6-piece Chicken McNugget Happy Meals with Super Mario Odyssey toys. Along with the Mario toys, each Happy Meal came with a sauce for the nuggets, a pack of apple slices, and a box of apple juice. All of this worked out to be $48.65 after tax. Everything was good except they messed up the two Quarter Pounders. I specifically asked for them to come without cheese. It was even printed on our receipt: "NO American Cheese." Yet they still came with cheese. That was disappointing. Aside from that, I think everyone enjoyed the food including my little nieces who chowed down on the chicken nuggets. The Super Mario Odyssey toys were fairly high quality. They were Mario action figures with the new Cappy character from the current Nintendo Switch game. My nieces got Happy Meals earlier in the week (yep, McDonald's twice in one week) and those came with Yoshi toys. I haven't eaten enough burgers in Thomasville to corroborate my dad's claim, but I did enjoy my Big Mac. It didn't taste any different from the Big Mac I normally get from the McDonald's near my workplace in Marietta, Georgia. The fries tasted the same too. Yum. I understand people makes mistakes but not hearing that I didn't want onions or pickles on my burger because I'm highly allergic and it will kill me if I ate that is where I draw the line for this place. And then after making a 25 minute drive home to find out they completely ignored my request is absurd. I then call this place and speak with assistant manager Anna and she tells me to make the drive back and they will remake my food but they didn't want to give me a refund. So I ask for the refund and the food to be remade and she tells me it's against policy to do both so I tell her that's she's not understanding the extreme situation here that I could have died from this. So I ask for her district manager and franchise owner number and supposedly she doesn't have it. How are you an assistant manager and don't have your district manager number? I came here for coffee leaving from Washington DC. I'be Been on the road all night! I just wanted a medium coffee with caramel syrup. My son wanted a hash brown. We received that and much more. The older lady, I suppose was a manager, because she had a white on shirt. She was very Rude at the drive through. She handed me the coffee and hash brown then shut the window. I waved my hand at the window she rolls her eyes and proceeds to walk to the window. When she opened she said what do you want?! I told her I needed cream and sugar. I Had a late lunch on New Years day. Customer service was excellent. My order was correct, hot and delicious. Even after I asked to edit my order once it was processed. Alex Greer helped me and about 10 other people in less than 5 minutes. This employee was efficient, helpful and personable. Well, they were improving for a little while but unfortunately they're slipping down rapidly. Most recently when I visited, the cars were backed up in the drive-thru out into the road and once again interfering with a major intersection just around the corner. I decided against trying to bother with the backed up drive-thru, turned in the exit side of the entrance and parked. I took out my phone and put in a mobile order, paid for my meal on my phone, and then proceeding inside to pick up everything I had ordered. Mistake #1 At the front counter, I waited about five or six minutes and finally someone yelled out asking if anyone had placed a mobile order. Well, that was me, so I held up my hand and walked over. I looked into the bag handed to me and realized I was missing a sandwich, so I got the lady's attention and explained to her that I ordered two sandwiches but only received one in the bag. She sighed at me and brought my order back up on the screen. She said, "Okay, hold on," and walked off. Mistake #2 The moment she walked away, I realized that the sandwich I was holding in my hand had a different number on the sticker (both of my burgers were special orders so they would have my order number attached to them), and in fact, wasn't even mine. So finally several minutes later when she came back over to me with my second sandwich in hand, I showed her that the first sandwich I had received wasn't mine. She yelled out, "Come on now" and again walked off. Several minutes later, I finally had both correct sandwiches and so I exited. Mistake #3 I got into my car and reached into my bag to eat a fry, when I realized my fries were ice cold. Maybe the fries were hot when the bag was first handed to me but due to all the issues with my burgers and the time it took to correct their mistakes, the fries were cold. Also note that I also noticed that there were no napkins or ketchup packets (I requested ketchup in my mobile order) in the bag. By this time, I'm completely frustrated, but decided I should get what I paid for so I go back inside. Mistake #4 I hand the same lady my fries, telling her that she seen I had just received these fries with my order but that they were not hot. She put her hands over them and agreed, so she took them and walked off. I watched an employee dump fresh fries twice before the lady came back to the counter... she dumped the first fresh basket of fries and started putting them in their containers, stacking them up to the side for others to grab and put together orders. Several orders were put together and most of the first batch of fries were given to other customers. Several minutes later, she brought up a second basket of fries from the fryer and dumped them into the fry pit. She then proceeded in putting more fries in their containers, stacking them to the side as well. Nearly ten minutes went by and then finally, I watched the lady handling my errors, grab a large fry that had been sitting to the side from the first basket dumped, put it into a small bag, and hand it to me. I already knew that these fries were not fresh by now and probably not hot anymore either, but I grabbed the bag she handed me anyway and exited once more. I get back into my car, reach into my bag to eat a fry and once again, and with no surprise, had cold fries. By this time, my two burgers are also cold. I don't understand it... how hard was it to grab another fry? How hard is it to match the numbers on the burger's label with the number of the customer's order? I guess I should know better than to have high hopes for fast food, but when you pay $3 for a large fry these days, you would at least expect it to be hot when you get them, right? I don't see why all the cars pile in here. From my experience the food you're given is either incorrect or old and has been sitting out, cold, or just simply not good. *Shrugs* read more

I tried to give this place a no-star rating, but it would not let me. This location violates the McDonald's policy. We had a curbside order during daylight curbside hours and pulled up to Curbside space # 7. This was after seeing curbside being delivered to the very same spot when we entered, then drove around the building to get that spot as the customer left. The manager came out and informed another customer and us that we would have to go through drive- through. This drive-through is a safety hazard that typically holds up traffic on the road. We asked for our money back and the corporate number. The manager (Cesar) refused both. He told us we could see our bank to get the money back for the food we did not get. I have lived in Thomasville for 8 years and have giving this McDonalds so many chances. I've had more bad experiences here than good. I don't even know why this McDonalds is busy. I don't mind waiting in line, but I do mind poor customer service. My last experience with this place was not good. I went through the drive thru and order 2 double cheese burger meals. When I received my food, I was asked to pull up. The employee proceeded to tell me that they only have 1 fry and they are cooking the other one. Now that one's is getting cold, I just wait. After about 5 minutes, I get out of my truck to go inside after the rest of my food. Of course, nobody knows anything and proceeds to make me wait. As a mom to 3 small kids I find myself at McDonald's quite often. I travel past Thomasville and have stopped here several times. Usually the wait time at the drive thru is longer than it should be, but wasn't too bad this visit. The staff were courteous and my order was correct. However, I will NOT be returning to this McDonalds because of their policy on tap water. They said they are not allowed to provide water. I would have no problem paying a minimal charge for the cup, straw, ice etc. Also, there was no contact info on the receipt to provide feedback to the franchise owner. I am sure there is another McDonald's in the next few miles of interstate . . . I will spend my money there. read more

Hello here's my feedback I'm just appalled at the rudness of the employees at the McDonald's restaurant at the 1019 Randolph st. store in Thomasville . Me and my wife was passing thru and we decided to get coffee and a frappe inside the restaurant. From the start I can tell the employees had an attitude They didn't take the order with courtesy and my wife wanted a ice Americano well the cashier and the manager was rude about there being no ice americano ,they were rolling there eyes and huffing . The employees was African American. I believe one was a manager and cashier . This is not a race thing I'm a African American man myself and I understand these trying times but I believe in common courtesy and respect and there was none showed. So we finally ordered and my wife decides to use the restroom . Well one of the employees mention the bathrooms was closed . I said ok I will go get my wife to tell her not to use the bathroom . But 2 women maybe the manager and the cashier exploded with rudness and anger of yelling about trying to use the restroom. I started to get heated so I said you need to put a sign on window or something to let the customers know . They shot back at me with there was sign on the chair or something which you clearly couldn't see. I got my coffee and I walked out to leave but I felt I was being instigated and disrespected by those 2 employees as I left. I took the high road !!! My wife and I have been eating at and or taking out/driving through this McDonald's store on Randolph Street/109 in Thomasville, NC, and giving them our business for the last 6 years, very consistently, but, we are both right on the verge of never returning there, as customers! I can honestly say that their order accuracy average is around 10%, which means they almost always (90% of the time (I am not exaggerating!!)) get something wrong with all of our orders!! They messed up my quarter pounder today, as well! This is a dismal performance level on the part of these employees! It is not rocket science we are expecting and dealing with here! In addition, I went into the store today, and witnessed that at least half of the employees up front (on a busy Sat. afternoon) were wearing their anti-Covid masks UNDER their noses, so that their noses were exposed to the open air. The lead cook was wearing his mask halfway down (to the middle of) his mouth and well below his nose! And, a lady who was leaving after her shift stayed around to chat with several employees, not 10 feet away from me, with her mask completely below her mouth and lower lip! Unbelievable! I called the store manager when I returned home to voice my complaints and to tell him that his employees are endangering the health and lives of their suspecting and unsuspecting customers in that store, not to mention each other. He was rather apathetic and argumentative with me on the phone, and I could tell that he would probably not do anything at all to change the poor state of affairs that exists in his store! Until the employees there at our McDonald's can get their act together, be completely Covid prevention compliant, and vastly improve their dismal order accuracy rate, my wife and I will likely not be eating there or frequenting this store any longer!! Sad, because we really like this store and most of the food they offer on their menu! I have called McDonald's Corporate offices and registered my formal complaint about this store and its employees, and I am expecting a call back early next week from the owner/franchisee of this store. We can only hope that he or she cares more about this store's customers and future operation than most of his or her employees that obviously do not!! read more

I will not be returning to this McDonalds due to their refusal to provide paying customers with a cup of water. You'll note their big sign taped up "WE WILL NO LONGER PROVIDE FREE COURTESY WATER OR WATER CUPS" I asked the cashier if I could purchase a water cup at any price, she said no.
